La Brocante - Gastropub in Brussels, Belgium
Great place, cozy interiors decked up to the Halloween ambience, the waiters are stressed but the bartender is knowledgeable about the beers and has a great view to Le Marseillais but the pro being they accept card payments.
Top spot at Brussels FleamarketLarge range of Belgian beers 🍺-Snack menu🍳🥪 - great Irish coffee 👌Sun on the terrasse in early winter morning ☕️and all late afternoon.Service is sooo friendly and kindLook up inside the Halloween decorationAll made by the owner Sebastian 🎃👻
Really loved eating the carbonnade here some years ago.
Supremely idyllic place to drink beer, inside or outside. And magnificent selection
Despicable service. Waiter pushed his arm across my face when I was ordering at the bar. Should have charged him with assault and battery. Continued rude service throughout.
Typical Brussels pub especially popular with the locals.Theres plenty of choice to drink with a large selection of mainly Belgian specialty beers but you can also get a sandwich here and some popular warm dishes like lasagna. Especially on sunny days this place is recommendable for the large very appealing terrace with shade of trees and a water vaporizing system. Service was friendly and quick but to access the menu youll need a QR-scanner on your phone. Despite presenting itself as rather modestly priced, even more common specialty beers will set you back € 5 / beer.
Rude owner, not responding to customers.
A very nice place with a very nice staffThe beer was good and the atmosphere enjoyable
Super! The staff is extremely kind, good beers and good croquetes!
Lovely traditional bar/cafe in a less touristy part of the city. Beer list is good, with just a few more new style beers available it could be one of the best . Good traditional food
Slowest service and arrogant waiters
Cozy, spacious. Laid-back atmosphere.Friendly, knowledgeable, easy-going staff.
One of my favourite places in Brussels. Great selection of beers, the best coffee and very professional staff. Keep it up!
It was my first time in Belgium and boy was I introduced well to the spread of beers they have in this country. Sebastian was very warm in welcoming us and made us taste some of his recommended beers. Its a pretty cozy place and youll definitely have a good time Im sure.
The opening hours are just false. We lost over an hour going there very early and going back when we saw there was no one there.
Worth visiting for a beer. Or five :)
Nice place, lots of beer, good food, very friendly staff.
Friendly staf, 200 Beers and a view on Vossenplein. And if youre feeling adventurous try a Straffe Hendrik or a Chimay Bleu.
Excellent range of beers. Sausages and stoemp were very tasty and reasonably priced. Will definitely go again when in Brussels.
My go to for Sunday lunches. Amazing meatloaf with stoemp and service is just the best. If I can give more than five stars I would!
Ten minute walk from the Grand place. A great locals pub. With the best Lambic beer choice in Brussels. Food is highly recommended a great pub away from the tourist area. Friendly and welcoming.
Going back, traditional food, nice stuff and explanation of beer.... GOOD BEER 🤘🏻
Cool decor and atmosphere, really enjoyed my time with friends there
On Place du jeu de balle, go for the flea market, stay for the ambience. And the beer. Foods not bad either. Shame about de skieven architek though.
Lovely spot, with a good selection of geuze and lambics. Alas, the cat who was here left a few months back, so youll not be able to visit her.
Excellent coffee but the kitchen was closed. You can play with the cat 😉
Very friendly staff, with an excellent selection of beers. The Brocante sandwich is delicious, and reasonably priced.
Very local, great hot chocolate and would recommend to try the "brocante" sandwich
Nice little bar, calm and friendly with a good choice of beers. Great staff.
Amazing place with good and cheap food.
Very nice local bar. If youre looking for a calm place with non-disturbing but nice music, this is definitely the place. The staff knows their beers very well and will recommend you the best beer youll love. They DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS, but there is an ATM two minutes away.5/5!
Friendly, street corner local opposite the flea market serving a range of Belgian beers and simple food. The resident cat is a sweetheart.
Cute place, nice waiter but not sure what the bar guys problem was. Dont know If its because were black or that we only ordered tea but he insisted on staring at me the whole time as if I did something wrong. Rascist? Maybe but its not nice to be mad at someone for not ordering food. The place still had plenty of seats as well so theres no other excuse. Food didnt look that great anyways improve your customer service dude, Im a paying customer
Great experience at a cozy Belgium pub. Staff is well versed in both beer and food selections. They are also very approachable and attentive. The bar is centrally located in an up and coming area. One thing to note: CASH ONLY.
Good location. Slightly pricey and they dont take cards. Loud buskers made conversation a little hard.
You need cash and only cash. Not all waiters are happy with split bills. We need to check out their closing times. We always seem to go when they are about to close.
Best place for a typical Belgian dish. With a large choice of beers and good advices on how to chose them. Also, you should try the burger on Thurday.Enjoy!
Not a bad place but the most dirty WC I have ever seen. It was awfully dirty. The food and staff was good. Price was OK.
You have to go to this place! Extreem good beers an even better food... Be sure your hungry, cause youll get a lot of it!
Nice staff, nice beers
Great local Bar always friendly has good food and drink.
Fantastic café. Expansive beer collection. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable and could provide useful recommendations for beer.4 stars, because there is no clarity within the menu about opening times of the kitchen - we were ready for food but couldnt order, leaving us a slight bit disappointed.
Great for a sandwich or beer with friends at noon. Dinner seems to be impossible because the kitchen is usually closed.
Located right near the Marolles flea market. Breakfast consists of a croissant & beverage. Nice selection of tea & great coffee. Lunch has a full menu. Theres a cat that just chills on the vents.
Randomly walked in expecting a boring hot beverage, and was delighted by the friendly owner whos a cappuccino artist and really friendly person. Best cappuccino in Bruxelles hands down 😃
Real hidden gem, loved by the locals. Really cheap for the quality and quantity of food given. I recommend the croque bolognese, which was deliciously cheesy and filling.
Great cappuccinos with drawings from an owner himself. If he does not succeed, he throws the coffee away and starts from the beginning )))
Nice bar with friendly staff. During lunch they have some very nice food - try the Brocante sandwich (meatball sub), or any of their typical Belgian tavern dishes - yum!On weekends there is live music with singalongs, indoor during winter and outdoor during summer, so dont expect an atmosphere where you can have a relaxed conversation.During the week, especially in summer, their outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot for a beer.
The toilet stank so bad, you can smell the stench in the dining area, which itself was quite filthy. Definitely do not recommend
Great beer selection, especially if you like gueuzes and krieks. I went in the early afternoon on a weekday, so I cant speak to the vibe very well.
