La Brasserie in Liege

Brunch of the day in Liege, we chosed omelette, the food was nice and big portion, excellent service 👌

About the food: the fries were of terrible quality and very bad flavour. If a restaurant cannot cook good fries, imagine the rest… in general the quality was very low. We were three people and none of them could enjoy the food.About the cleaning: we changed the place three times because they don’t clean the floor and smells like pee. Not only that but the chairs are utterly disorganised and very dirty. So the floor is dirty, chairs are dirty, and in general bad organised. You can feel they are sticky. It was very uncomfortable eating in a dirty place with those smells but there are not many options in the surroundings at 15.30.About the service: quite low. I ordered boulets à la liéeoise with rice. The dish came with fries and later on when served on the table explained that they did not have rice but did not offer other options, which were indeed available in the menu.If you can eat in another place, that is what I would recommend.

Food was okay ish...But wait, oh my god and on the top of it, staff being rude..This one was extremely abrupt and rude and suffered from attitude..No owner or manager at this restaurant to have a word with..

Dirty glasses and very unfriendly

Burnt crepes not an exception. Tastes like charcoal . When told about the burnt crepes, waiter told that they are not burnt but correctly cooked. Highly not recommended.Rude and arrogant waiter. Stay hungry instead of going to the restaurant.

Nice restaurant. Pay a visit when you’re nearby. Steve the waiter was a Nice lad. Only for this Guy we Will return.

The service was really slow. The worst experience in Liège so far. The food was fine.

Very nice experience - felt like traveling back in time to mid-century or earlier with traditional decor (these lamps, these paintings, dark wood, carpets...), the service (personnel in white shirts and black jacketsand traditional cuisine liegoise.You wont leave hungry.

Das Essen war ganz okay, der Service auch, wenn man mal davon absieht dass überhaupt kein Englisch gesprochen wird.Wir wollten uns den L‘assiete Brasserie teilen (gemischter Teller mit Wurst, Käse, etc., perfekt für 2 die nicht viel Hunger haben), uns wurde aber gesagt dass wir nur 1x Besteck dazu bekommen können. Als wir uns das Essen umständlich geteilt haben, hatte der Kellner aber wohl doch Mitleid mit uns und hat uns doch noch eine Gabel gebracht 😉

Just sit for a coffee there. Quick, cheap and strong coffee (not so easy to find+ mini Snickers. Normal beer selection for the city, but with ok prices.

Would not eat here. There was a worm in my salad and the waiter said is was because of the fact that the salad is fresh. Hahaha what a joke!

Variety of smacks and dishes. A little old fashioned. Not very clean environment, especially outside.

Being a journalist I not only review the quality of the food, but also the atmosphere. I did like the vibe. But the waiter was not in a very good mood I guess as he was very abrupt when I asked paying with card.But overall, we had a nice time sitting there. Maybe just try to smile, even when its busy. :-)

Dont go there, the place is dirty and there are rats running around inside. We notified the staff about the rats and they said or did nothing. We refused to pay for the service along with fellow guests and they were threatening to call the police on us even though we had a photo... The owner was rude and told us its normal having rats inside the houses in this quarter and since they cant do anything about it, they will not reimburse us in any way. I dont consider rats running around tables with an easy access to the kitchen where the food is prepared normal...

We waited first way too long to get served, then once we ordered, we waited around 50 minutes for our food. Our food arrived and it was really average and not that tasty.

Perfect drop to experience local ambient, food, and service. Friendly professionals, best pan cakes and local dish in a rustical furniture. If you go to Liège, you must have a stop here

Excellent steak and chips and a good beer selection.

Worst espresso in Belgium!

DONT GO TO THIS PLACE... When you dont speak French and dont have a creditcard..It was a natural desaster to order in English and it took 30 minuts to clear our table after we finished our meal. The employers walked if they all had a hangover.THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE.

Good selection of Belgium beers, can take awhile to get served when busy. But staff a very helpful when not in a rush. Food was well presented with a good side salad. Stopped here a few times after work.

Not really a good place but convenient and cheap.

Beside the outstanding waiting time, you need to be extremely talented to burn omelette and even more stupid to serve it.Central location IS NOT a good reason to support places like it even for "just a beer" event.

Food is pretty average, its okay when you dont have options.
