Gandria ist, obwohl nur ca. 10 Autominuten von Lugano entfernt, weit weniger bekannt als der ebenfalls im Tessin liegende Ort Vico Morcote. Auch wenn die Prachtbauten in Gandria fehlen, haben die beiden Orte ansonsten einiges gemeinsam. So schmiegen sie sich an den zum Teil kräftig abfallenden Berghängen bis an die Ufer des Sees. Beide Orte wären zudem mit dem Schiff erreichbar. Direkt am Anleger in Gandria (gehört postalisch zu Luganobefindet sich die La Bottega di Gandria. Den meisten wohl eine willkommene Station, um die Wartezeit zu überbrücken sind wir der Meinung, dass sich, sofern der Aufwand der Anreise überschaubar wäre, auch ein extra Besuch als lohnenswert erweisen könnte. Neben dem schönen Angebot kleiner Speisen, die zumeist von lokalen Produzenten stammen, wäre die Getränkeauswahl ansprechend. Der eigentliche Grund für den Besuch wäre trotzdem die direkte Lage am Luganer See, die bei entsprechendem Wetter eine schöne Zeit verspricht. Zudem wäre der Ort Gandria, trotz seiner überschaubaren Größe, einen Spaziergang wert. Darüber hinaus gibt es in der Bar immer wieder ART-Events und Live-Acts. Feines Plättli mit regionalen Produkten,die Lage ist wunderschön. Definitiv einen Besuch wert wenn man z Bsp aufs Schiff wartet.

Viel besser als jedes Schickimicki-Restaurant/bar.Das Eis ist selbstgemacht und zb. das Pistazieneis schmeckt mehr nach Pistazien als Pistazien selbst. Es gibt Craftbier (auch IPA und andere stärkereund 2 Ingwer/Limonencocktails mit frischen, lokalen Zutaten. Man kann auch aus einer riesen Auswahl von lokalen Weinen wählen, und preislich ist alles völlig im Rahmen (klar, es ist immer noch Schweiz). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auch als tätowierter Mensch wird man akzeptiert. Probiert unbedingt das Eis!!!

Super schöne kleine Bar direkt am Wasser.Es hat wenig Plätze was aber schön ist, um die Ruhe zu geniessen.Unser Wein und das lokale Bier war lecker.Das Essen der Nachbartische sah frisch und auch lecker aus..Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Se arrivi a Gandria col battello è il posto giusto dove sostare; potrai ristorarti, acquistare un prodotto tipico regionale e ottenere tutte le informazioni sul villaggio nonché sulle iniziative proposte dai suoi abitanti più attivi e impegnati nella sua protezione.

Cest un endroit de rêve, très sympahique et pratique pour boir et manger. On peut aussi y achter de très bons produits alimentsires de production locale.

Très bel endroits avec terrasse ombragée au bord du Lac, conviviale et calme, produits de qualité, frais et variés. A recommandé pour une petite pause, un repas ou diner avec soirées animées où touristes et gens locaux sy côtoient.

La più bella terrazza sul lago del luganese, e uno spazio sapientemente rimesso in uso da un grande architetto.

Magnifica terrazza e ottimo caffé. Gandria è uno spicchio di paradiso nella visita a Lugano e questa sosta è un balsamo per gli occhi e lo spirito.
