Kaprova 19/5, 110 00 Staré Město, Czechia, Prague
Lively, Cuban-style venue with a bar turning out rum cocktails, plus a global menu & live music.
Horrible service by their bartenders. Advertised as a Cuban place however none of their bartenders were able to speak in Spanish and failed to make us feel welcomed.
If Gérard was here, it means it is a good place :D
Hectic but nice place.
Was there long time ago. There were many people and everyone was super welcoming and inviting to dance right from the entrance!
Vibes were immaculate. Food was so good, if you’re going as a couple I recommend the “Platillos Cubanos” for two people. The drinks were fantastic. Totally recommend this spot, it should be a must on your travel plans.
Great food and drinks for a very good price, probably the best mojitos and rum drinks in all of Prague. Special thanks to Dominik who served us during or vacation.
Fun place to have lunch and drinks.
I have no idea how to rate this. The prices are insane, but it seems like a great place to visit. The staff was really nice and helpful and gave great recommendations, and even though we came only for one round of drinks (because of the afforementioned prices), we enjoyed our time here.
The mango daiquiri was too good 👍 😋I had the best time, good food, good music, a 20/10 in my book
Bad experience. The waitresses was just stupied, the inner ambient was very hot as so my beer temperature. They dont work with local beer as well, kust Heineken as draft beer. The only star went to the hostess that was nice and kind.
dont be fooled by the cute bar! 2 bottled beers gin and tonic and Negroni 30 minutes wait, I asked if they had beers on tap and they said no ... instead they did. As good Italians we know the taste of a good negroni, This was disgusting, watered down. Maybe the bartenders should taste what they serve!
Nice service and sweet waitress (with tatoo, but only 2 tables with customers for lunch time, food was good and the mango Mojito was Amazing, perfect spot if you want smoke a nice Cigar
Fun spot with great drinks and a little Latin flair in Prague.
Good enviroment, music talking, they could increase the songs selection, the Dj tend to repeat the songs time to time. Is a good place BUT the customer service in the bar down the stairs next to the dance floor, they have a short haired waitress that is really rude almost aggresive with the customer, every night (I go oftenseems like she has an issue (I include myselfher attitude ruins the whole experience of the place, stress resistance 0.
We accidentally walked to a reserved table at the terrace. A waitress screamed we had to pick another table. We did this and the woman screamed aggressively: “Are you okay, are you okay!!” Then we walked away because we felt uncomfortable.
Amazing Cuban food in Prague! Definitely worth a visit - we tried multiple dishes and every single one of them was so good. Service was also quite nice :will definitely be going back!
Delicious drinks and deserts. Noisy and fun, loud music inside and you can listen there great live music as well
The atmosphere was very nice but the cocktails was absolutely worst i ever had .
Nice cocktail bar and dancing. Staff were friendly and the drinks were A1. Will definitely be back.
Love their daiquiri. The cohiba lounge on the second floor is amazing with great service. Bartender is professional and knows alot about spirits and how to mix them.
Great atmosphere, music and food. The food tasted delicious, it was fresh. The restaurant was also decorated nicely. Great place to come with friends and drink mojitos.
Good latino club. Quite expensive drinks and not the best quality. Very crowded almost every night but especially in weekends. The music is good, the atmosphere is nice.
Super nice! Cuban style. Touristy place but still authentic. Great cocktails and the food is excellent also. Friendly staff. Can recommend!
Nice atmosphere, limited but good quality of food, nice cocktails. Live music that add to the Cuban atmosphere. The cigar lounge doesnt have decent ventilation so smoke is very heavy. Cigar verity is good.
We visited this restaurant for a dinner on Sunday 24.4. Even though we had a reservation managed few days ago and the restaurant was almost empty, the unfriendly man at the entrance offered us just a table in the middle of the entrance. We rejected it and finally, we sat in the corner near the main bar. The interior was stylish and other waiters were helpful. The cocktails are nicely served, tasty, but little bit overpriced. We had two starters and two main courses. The only tasty dish from that was a beef tartar - the rest was simply disaster. Prawns were tasteless, tough with terrible baguette as a side dish. Arroz cubano was just a big portion of red rice mixed with under average seafood with totally carbonized pieces of chicken – the wings were uneatable as well as most of the chicken thighs. If you wish to eat some quesadillas I highly recommend to visit KFC better than La Bodeguita – the price for such a meal is a bad joke. In general, the restaurant has some charm, for drinks at he night might be okay, but the food is definitely very bellow an average of Prague restaurants in price to value ratio.
If you want to listen to live music, dance, eat and drink and feel great, this place is recommended. Until late at night or early morning, as long as Covid restrictions will allow. Good to go with a group, couples, family. Cuban style, really good.Don’t forget to check if the down floor is open too, there you have also music and dancing until the morning hours.
The service food and drinks on point!! Excellent
Great place! Much recommended! Very friendly and happy ti help staff. Life music by a Latin singer who will also salsa with you if you ask. You can write a message or a greeting on the walls to make your mark. Mine is by the ceiling. Great food. Overall very happy with the place. Truly!
Good enough food, but ...1sticky table upon our arrival, after asking the waiters to clean it, no one has done so.2Although we ordered food for a total of 3290 cz (including tip), the owner and his employees proved to be little available3the dishes all arrived late (at least 30 minutes of waiting for each order)4many dishes arrived cold5completely dirty toilets6advertising of the "rum and cigars on the first floor" service, only at the end of the dinner does the owner communicate that he is not available, after which at least 20 people (obvious customershave gone upstairs.Unfortunately, the quality of the food sometimes doesnt matter if the service is done by incompetent people
Service is great, ambience and cuban music is good also. The cocktails were really good and the quesedilla was average. Its expensive though.
After reading the other reviews i realised that i definitly missed out on some other features of this bar.We got offered a seat at the bar and had really good cocktails by a professional barkeeper who really knew what he was doingNice atmosphere, good drinks, lovely staff - basically everything you want when you visit a bar like that.Definitly worth checking it out when you visit Prague and have the craving for a couple delicious and affordable drinks!
Amazing bar/restaurant. We went there (Sunday nightfor a few cocktails and had a nice chat with the barkeeper and he really knew what he did. The cocktails were amazing, when we asked for recommendations he took the time and gave us some good advises and made us some delicious cocktails.Hes not just an employee, hes a real professional barkeeper. The atmosphere was also quite nice. Id go there again.
Quite nice place of you are looking for drinks and a nic atmosphere. The staff is nice and the live show - music/dancing is very enjoyable. The selection of beers is however very poor and expensive :/ ... The food is not bad for a bar :)
Must see! Geat drinks, original design, place full of energy, live music and dancer performance.
Great place for a night out if you like Latin music. On the main floor (restaurantfrom time to time they have some shows and you can enjoy dinner or just have a cocktail or you can go to the bar downstairs if youre want to show your dancing moves... (But be prepare, it might be crowded!)Have fun!
Great ambiance, amazing service, the staff is friendly and attentive. My drink was more like a tropical experience. Great music and TVs showing multiple sports. Superb location.
My friends took me there and they also have a Latino club. Their drinks are very good. The staff is very friendly. It location is amazing. If you go there, you will have fun for sure. Gooooo🤣
Good music. Horrible service for this price. Bartender named Žaneta didnt hear the whole order after she didnt want to give us the rest of the drinks because she didnt want to charge it, and then we say well we still want this drinks she started rolling her eyes and gave us warm drinks and behaved rudely.
Great Food, Great Service and realy taste of the Caribbean !! Amazing Cocktails with good quality !! and the Cuban Server she was so nice <3 i highly recomend this place !!
Great music, even better cocktails. All in all the atmosphere is great and I would highly recommend visiting this place.
Went here last night to grab a cocktail and to say I had fun was an understatement. It is a little cuban themed bar/restaurant with life dance performances and music. The barman made lovely Moijitos and Pina Coladas, a bit pricey tho (czk 195). The employees arent overly welcoming but the barman was so that made up for it. All in all I would recommend going here for some drinks, due to the amazing atmosphere I felt like I was right back in Havana.
Very expensive place!A beer is aprox 4€, rum is much more. Otherwise very nice and unique place with live Latin music and on the lower floor a DJ with RNB music. Did not try food so can not judge it.
"Smoke and drink" place. You can find Cuban cigars to smoke and a very large selection of premium distillates and wines. This is a very recommended place
Very good cocktails. Reasonably priced and very friendly staff who can advise what to choose. Great variety of drinks and nice atmosphere. Music is very good and not to loud. There is a space for dancing and smoking cigars. I recommend that place and will definitely come back whenever I will be back in Prague.Try their special cocktails based on rum.
I was really looking forward to eating here because Im Cuban. Ive also been to the original Bodeguita del Medio in Havana many years ago, so this was definitely a must-see for me. Some details just stopped it from meeting my expectations, however. First, the hostess was talking on the phone all the time, even when greeting guests. Shed just put her friend on hold, phone against chest. Her presence outside would have definitely attracted more people. The ambience inside is good and it made me feel like home. The ropa vieja I ordered was good, passable, but the amount of rice was way below what I expected for €17. The display is good but that leaf standing in the rice (picturedis some art of magic since there were barely enough grains to support it. Even though the staff was laughing out loud and talking amongst each other, that didnt bother me because the service was not bad. What did bother me is how right as I was leaving they were snickering like children at the fact that I had asked for a sharpie to sign something on the wall. Up until then I was very happy to relive a moment from years ago, but the snickering made it all awkward to say the least. Either they are not getting paid well enough, dont care, or there is no good management present. Im sure this experience does not apply to everyone, but its what happened to me. Después de todo le deseo lo mejor a este lugar, no habrá sido una experiencia perfecta pero es bueno saber que hay presencia cubana en Praga. Saludos.
Tasty food, great drinks, good overall look and atmosphere. A little overpriced though.
Interesting place in city center. Service was great and attentive had some good suggestions about what to order. Food and drinks were really delicious. Prices are little higher but acceptable in city center. There was also live cuban music during our visit, so the atmosphere was great.
get on at 11pm on a Sunday. Asked for 2 mojitos, ticket came with 3. Asked to cancel 1. Barman didn’t like it ( not customer obsessed, customer is always rightwe found a free table. Sabrina ( a very rude serverasked us to leave the table because it was booked ( incredibly at 11.30 pm, nobody sat until I left this miserable place at 11.40). Do a favor yourself and go to a typical Czech pub and you will have a way better customer experience.
Really good food, nice cocktail selection and great happy hour special starting at 3pm. Great friendly staff and night time turns in to club. Really good place to chill.
Really great vibe here. It really feels authentic kuban, especially downstairs. Service is fast here, and they are friendly. However the drinks are quite expensive, and the mojito for 99 is to go only. Almost double the price to have one there, plus tip.
