La Bocha in Queretaro

Place is just Ok. For the prices you would expect more.What truly made my night not so good; is that waiter was trying to make us overspend in a tricky way which I later on was able to catch him (So becareful). What they did was to take your beer or drink when 1/3 was still in the glass; and they do this in a very fast way when trying to clean up other dishes. The first time, me and customers I was eating with; kind of all felt that we had drank too fast, even one of them said,,,, mmm, i drank this beer way to fast.Second time, we noticed and another person of the table stated.... i think he is taking drinks before we finish them.Then, i saw him doing this a third time with HALF of my tequila shot. Which I stopped him and told him why was he doing that. His reply was: Sorry i since its a white tequila I tought it was an empty one.... COME ON.Food ok, meat ok (Nothing to brag).We were 5 people and spent around $375 to $390 usd. For a Mexican restaurant and having around 9 beers in total, 2 soft drinks, 1 tequila and 2 coffees NO dessert... is quite pricy.

Food was super delicious although the music was way to loud and super annoying.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!

One of the best restaurants in Querétaro City. It has a wide range of meat and fish, the prices are high but are worthy. The attention of the personal is really good, thats what shines in this place. I would encourage to increase the number of cocktails and national/international beers, the selection is poor.

We had 10 guest and the staff was trying to rush us the entire time. The place had plenty of extra seating available. The appetizers were good but I was served the fattiest steak Ive ever had in my life. Like 50 percent fat. My wife ordered med well and got med rare. I decided on 2 stars because my beers were cold. Unfortunately I was very disappointed and I dont think Ill be back.

The food is delicious, the service is great I dont like valet parking but there is no parking spots nearby, it was $35 pesos for it. The menu prices are a little high in my opinion but well worth it.

Great food and service. I tried the Asado de Tira, Lechón, and Chistorra. All very good. A little expensive for Mexico but highly recommended.

Very nice place to go to. With the current situation, they have really taken steps to ensure the safety of their customers. They have a disinfectant booth for entry. Food was good as Im used to.

Everything was amazingly good from the starter to the desert to the service. I cannot say more!

Wonderful restaurant! Hands down the best ribeye steak I’ve had in years. Wonderful atmosphere and service as well.

Great service, great food, easy to get to. The rib eye (USDAwas greatly cooked. The artichokes were uniquely served, and the seabass was ok. The chistorras appetizer was awesome!

There is a lot of faux fanciness and authenticity here, being only slightly less faux ourselves we found ourselves explaining how to serve whisky properly and telling the chef the difference between the cut of meat we ordered and the one we received. Nice food though and we will be back.

Very good food, nice ambiance, good service!I ordered pasta and loved the sauce but the pasta was a little over cooked for my taste so next time Ill be more specific about my order, my husband ordered picaña and loved it . Delicious starters too!

Just ate there and omg, havent had this good beef cut in a looong time!The place looks nice and has some original stuff, lile the easel menus or the stamped desert menu. Cozy and welcoming with a couches area for having a drink after a delicious meal.From the menu we had empanada, provoleta and salad for starters. The empanada was very good! The provoleta, just excellent! Highly recomended! The salad was delicious too.For main course i had a trully delicious and tender picaña cut. It was a thick cut with charboiled fatty outside. Very very tender and tasty, perfectly grilled with a burst of burnt wood flavour. Exquisite!My wife had pasta and the sauce was excellent, thouhe pasta came a bit overcooked.We are coming back for sure as there are many other dishes we r looking forward to try (tuna, bome marrow n more).Hightly recommended for a very filling and excellently cooked meal!

The meat is amazing. Also the service was good. Really nice restaurant. Can totally recommend it. Was able to get a place without reservations.
