La Boca Del Diablo in Santa Barbara de Samana

Es un lugar con una vista impresionante. La ruta hacia el lugar no es buena para vehículos bajos. Es un poco solitario. En la ruta podrán encontrarse con una mina de mármol y con Montañas que impresionan por su maravillosa formación rocosa.

De esos lugares que todos deberian visitar al menos una vez en la vida! Solo asegurarse de que el mar no esté calmado cuando piensen ir, porque si está calmado, no se disfrutan todos los detalles.

Its just an air hole that makes this HUGE sound when water pushes the trapped air through the small gap.However,The marble mines on tje wsy there are quite remarkable, and with only a 1hr walk you can find yourselves at Playa Frontón.Now thats something to feast your eyes and body at.

Lugar sorprendente y bello, parece que estás cerca de un volcán por el color de la tierra, la pena es que el océano tiene mucho sargazo, pero sorprende la belleza del lugar.

Toto je super přírodní atrakce. Neuvěřitelné.co vše umí příroda vytvořit. Na fotkách tento úkaz nejde zcela zachytit. Moc jsme se u díry s chrlící vodou s doprovodnými zvukovými efekty nasmáli. Tlak je velký.proto buďte opatrní. 😈 Bez terénního auta se však do cíle nedostanete. S obyčejným autem to ani nezkoušejte!

Un sitio bastante interesante donde el choque de las olas con las rocas provoca un sonido bastante interesante y de ahí el nombre de Boca del Diablo.Fuimos en vehículo y lo dejamos aparcado aquí para seguir el trayecto hasta Playa Frontón, la zona es solitaria pero segura para dejar los vehículos; hay varios policías de Politur que rondan la zona lo que genera mayor seguridad.El camino para llegar a Boca del Diablo y hacer el recorrido está en malas condiciones, pero no es tan complicado, ya que no hay inclinaciones ni nada por el estilo (camino recto pero con mucho hoyos); se recomienda ir en vehículos altos porque se maltratan menos y se llega más rápido, los vehículos de altura normal pueden ir en condiciones normales, pero será mucho más lento para evitar que se maltraten y no recomendaría ir en vehículos normales en días lluviosos a menos que sepa maniobrar bien en condiciones con lodo, puesto que algunas partes el camino hay hoyos que se pueden enlodar y ocasionar que el vehículo quede inhabilitado (si no sabe maniobrar bien en esas condiciones).

Very nice, Ive never seen anything like it before.....

The road there is a bit exhausting, we decided not to endure our small car and walked about 1km to the spot. It was more than worth it! Absolutely unique feeling and experience. Also found a couple of nice viewpoints on our way there (youll see the walking paths branching from the main path about 500-600 meters before the devils maw).

A picturesque location! It was hard to get there by car (the road quality is very poor), but the final destination paid back! Reserve 2-3 hours to take an easy hike to Playa Frontón - impressive tracking.

Its a nice experience. Even if the tide is not the right one, the sound of the wind going through the cave is very shocking. I strongly recommend a 4x4 vehicle or at least with 8+ inches of ground clearance. I also strongly recommend to let the police go with you if you dont go on a tour or with experienced guides. They are always in the area as far as I know. They have weapons, nothing to be scared of, just make sure they are with Politur, which is the Tourist Police. They should have a complete uniform (hat, white shirt and blue pantsand an ID. They were very polite and calmly waited for us to enjoy the place for a while.

Beautiful spot in Las Galeras, Samaná. The rocks allow the passage of a column of air and water on high tide that create an amazing blow and sound. There are restroom available but only open when the park guards are around. I recommend to visit this site and 4x4 is suggested, although it is reachable by 4x2 on not-rainy season. Be careful in your path as the rocks are sharp and pointy.

We heard the blowing of the water but never actually found the spot. Very sharp rocks so bring good shoes not sandals.

The road to La Boca Del Diablo is only for SUV cars. If the tide is low, don’t count on the water cascades. From here you can start a scenic walk to playa fronton.

Steep ride but worth seeing the nature of waves span through a rock hole .

Brutal sitio y divertido de llegar si vas con un 4x4, bosotros fuimos despues de un dia de lluvia y fue impresionante todo! Cuando hay mala mar es cuando es mas impresionante pero hay que ir con cuidado!!!🤟🏼

Natural, rustic, adventurous

Sehr schlechter Weg. Geht nur mit Moped oder zu Fuß. Landschaftlich sehr schön. Auf einmal waren Polizisten auf dem Moped mit Pumpgun neben uns. Als Geleitschutz. Für das Spektakel muß aber auch die Brandung stimmen.

Very cool place! You gotta have some driving skills or a 4x4 vehicle. Went there with a small car and it took 40 minutes to get there and same to go back but it was worth it!

Это просто невообразимое место. Действительно - «Глотка дьявола»! Потоки воздуха просто завораживают! + рядом есть ещё пара интересных мест. Дорога правда убитая, ехать только на джипе или мото. По пути бесплатно сопровождает местная охрана. Они же на месте проводят экскурсию, тоже бесплатно! Одна просьба - не мусорите пожалуйста!!!P.s.: На обратном пути, слева встретятся закрытые ворота, с недостроенным забором. После окончания забора есть место под парковку и тропинка от него к океану. Там просто сногсшибательный вид на бухту, старинный якорь и пару пушек.

Te invito a recorrer el sendero a Playa Frontón, ahora en mucho mejor condiciones. Dentro de poco se completará la interpretación, estructuras de soporte básica y letreros.

Доехали на прокатной Киа рио, ещё сопроводили работн. полиции на мотоцикле. всё безплатно. Сама пасть дьявола на 21.03.2019 была вообще без туристов, были там одни. С собой имели квадрокоптер, для этого места идеально подходит.

This is an impressive sight, or better - impressive to hear and experience! the water gets slammed through a small underground canal, and roars up the earth. Its very powerful - I nearly lost my footing when I was filming this spectacle. Could be a little dangerous if you wear flip flops, but defenitely worth a visit.

Faite à pieds depuis Las Galeras, El Fronton.Belle vue, ne pas hésiter à passer par la cuava del agua à 200 mètres vers El Fronton car la Boca El Diablo ne crachait que de lair ce jour-là. Il existe une petite Boca bis sympa près de la route principale ou le phénomène est présent et impressione aussi.Belle et impressionante carrière de pierre creuser en grotte dans la falaise.A déconseiller car chemin difficile et peu ou pas entretenu.Impossible de faire une boucle.Un gentil paysan nous a reconduit en moto pour presque rien.Super expérience quand même.Les familles dominicaines sont très sympatiques.
