La Birra Pub - Pub in Vilnius, Lithuania
Rude workers.I went there with a friend and asked if they are opened, coz they were eating ,not serving customers and the waiteres said in LithuanianCant you see that were opened.
It appears that Mondays are karaoke nights.😎😍👍
I was properly dressed, but security wouldnt let me in without any pretext.
Agile is the best bartender in this bar!
cool establishment. wonderful atmosphere. music. cocktails. lovely staff. Had a very good time there
Idk, they dont want tourists
SCAMMERS. Ordered a beer and a cocktail, should be 8,50 + 3,30 they tried to charge me 24€. Told that was not what I asked, tried to talk for 10min the guy that wanted to rob me refused to talk (of course, his scam didnt workI refused to pay and left, they brought all the security outside to force me to pay the 24€, I said to call the police, of course they didnt.
They will charge you extra for everything if youre not careful
Absolutly RACIST! We were with 20 people. The ONLY one that was not allowed inside, was our only dark friend. The reason was that she was too drunk, however she barely drank alcohol. A few actually were drunk, but they were allowed in. This is an absolute joke. They have an alcohol tester inside, but she was not allowed to do the test to show that she was not drunk. Do not go here!!!

Come here if you are tired of all the wannabe posh places in Vilnius street 😉
The reviews are correct: this bar does not cater to tourist. Staff looks down upon people that are not Lithuanian, or just a different skin color. Avoid this place at all cost
I just seen tonight, this place security punched EU client on the face, and then sprayed gas on his face, punched client 2 more times when he was cleaning his eyes, and took like rubbish bag upstairs to trow client out. Before you go, to this place, don’t think twice! just don’t go!
If you are not lithuanian dont try to enter in this pub, because you will be discriminated, so sad this things happening in 2022
Karaoke parties are the best!!! And the drinks are made with love!!
The possitive thing is that the place works long hours and has karaoke. Gave the karaoke a shot and the host was always saying some remarks like “finally someone with a good voice” or in the middle of the song someone’s singing “still have to suffer this” (in Lithuanian, so an international singer wouldn’t understand). I think karaoke is supposed to be fun and it was rather rude.
Nice pub. Very reasonable prices. Not enough waiters on for the crowd in the pub. Will be back.Havent had food here but looks nice on other tables
I wanted to come in with 3 friends from Ireland and the guy didnt let me in because I had hoodie and shorts, I had 500 e ready to spend in the pub. They should employ normal people, the guy was backwards to say the least.
It was decent, no silent available and sticky floor lol
seemed like the "we serve everyone"-option, with your fair share of fellow drunk foreigners and locals (your enjoyment will depend on how you handle that). Drinks were fine and the tables outside werent bad either.
Nice place for drink beer, i watched champion league final,it was too crowded
The absolute WORST service ever! Bartenders are sour, extremely slow serving and it doesnt look like they can handle a big crowd. We were there on the CL final, and although everyone wanted the game on for the preshow, they refused to put it on until the game started. And they claim to be a sports bar..... yeah right
Good cocktails at a good price. good karaoke
Awful service . Were here four times in 2021 anf 2022 , and 13.05.2022 security did not let in one person from company without explaning the reason and haughtily. the mood was ruined As this pub was one from the most loved.
Was there about a month ago. Was trying to get in on a sunday. The "securityguard" outside, would not let us in if we did not give him a bribe of 20 EUR per person. So avoid if you are a tourist, probably great for locals!
Security pushed me when closing without any explanation, super rude Security
Very friendly place. Staff were great, even remembered our order from the first visit. Enjoyed the karaoke both nights. Great host and very receptive crowd.
Coctails were fine, barmens not really communicative, place overall was not crowded when we came 8pm on friday. Its ok only for few glasses.
No good. Me and my friend was forced not to come in because we are tourist. At first we thought he was kidding but then he told us “you have to pay me 20euros to get in” This is not the practice that they normally serve since the other times we have been there were there was another bouncer.
We werent allowed into a bar by security guy without any reason. We were told that it is private place and he dont have to explain reasons.
Unnecessarily unwelcoming doorman, bar was very quiet and felt like we were stared at by the doorman the entire time we were there. There are far better options nearby, shame as everywhere else we went on our visit we had a positive and welcoming experience.
Ordered 10 shots of tequila when suddenly a drunk guy came and flipped the table. Would of gave it 5 stars if the management had handled it properly.
It’s nice place. People inside mostly are local. Guards are really kind to guests. What I don’t like here is only largeness. It would be great if it’s bigger
We were 4 international students discovering the beautiful city Vilnius, when we passed this pub around midnight on Tuesday night we liked to get a drink here. From outside we saw the pub was not even half filled. When we wanted to enter we were asked for our corona passport which we showed without any hesitation. When the bouncer heard we were international students he said “no international students inside” and no further information was shared why we couldn’t enter. We asked him 3 times so he started to get irritated. Racism from the highest level. I would not recommend.
Every Monday they have international karaoke night , so me and my friends decided to give it a try. After we arrived we tried to get in but the man at the door didn’t let us in saying “no Erasmus “ while closing the door . I asked him why not as long as it’s an INTERNATIONAL karaoke night and he kept saying no erasmus. Whatever , probably that was for better .Thank you doorman for making us not waste our money , we went to a better place with so much better treatment.
Not positive experience. We approached the bar around 7:50 pm to get some drinks during the happy hour, which they advertise until 8 pm. The bartender/waitress was avoiding coming over to us, while there was only 2 more people waiting to order at the bar.Another waitress was standing near the bar and talking to apparently a friend for the whole time, also ignoring us.When she eventually came over, it was about 7:56, and she simply took away the happy hour brochure from us. No explanation. We asked why we cant even order drinks, its not 8 yet, and she didnt say anything at all.Basically, not going back here again.Whichever is the situation, as a customer I would expect some respect and politeness at the very least.
The bartender thought it was fun to let me pay more for drinks, and when I asked him why, he said it was because Im foreign and i have to pay more.
Un the night of October 29, a group of 8 students were in La Birra and it happened the following: While we were watching people singing in the karaoke, a glass fell from the table and broke. Quickly one of the waiters came to tell me that I should pay for the glass, and with my good intention, I approached the bar to do so (in no place in the world do they force a customer to pay for broken glass). When I got to pay they told me it cost 5€ and I paid them, but it seemed like a big scam, because the same glass at Ikea costs 1.99€ and less when we were consuming all night.
I recommend not to stay for to long if the karaoke moderators nick name: Lokys. The drinks are always great but 1 star is only for ruining mine and my friends karaoke experience. Otherwise a great place to come not only for a friendly drink but also if the karaoke moderator is Artūras (a shaved head guy)
The place had horrible treatment. I went with my friends on a friday, the place being empty, and the guy at the door looked at 3 of my friends who were mixed raced and just said "go to another bar", one of my friends proceed to said "thats discrimination, you know?", to which the guy nodded yes and didnt let them in. Then he let around 5 people in, who were clearly underdressed, so that was not the case, and apparently my friends were too black for this club. Extremely disappointed considering is just an average-serving club, no special service, music, or cocktails, yet they still want to treat people of color as third class citizens, the club is not even a high-end club. Definitely not worth visitting or giving it another shot.
Great bar on the main high street, shows all the sport inc football, basketball & boxing. One of the more reasonably priced bars on the street with a good choice of beer, spirits & shots. Highly recommend.
This is a great place for dancing after some beers. They have all kind of different programs (karaoke, Latino dance, etc.). The place is not too small but its not huge, which allows for a more cozy and friendly environment while dancing. In general, it almost always good vibes .The only thing is that I cant imagine enjoying it being sober and it can get full and dirty very fast
The place is quite popular amongst the locals. Situated in the heart of the city on the streets where most of the pubs are it offers great cocktails, beer and other variety of drinks. On some weekdays they have a karaoke downstairs. The only downside of it is the very aggressive bouncers which can ruin your night, but if you behave then that shouldnt cause any issues.
Fun place located in a beautiful area of downtown Vilnius. The basement dance floor is very fun. Many local people, acceptable prices. Recommended Friday and Saturday.
Nice place with lot of latino music and so on. Staff are very kind, very recommend if you want to get out to have some drink in Vilnius. Also on weekend they have a DJ who plays nice music.
Well we arrived in the evening around 21... And ordered a beer. Plan was to get something to eat. Fail. All burgers finished and hot dog is not recommend by the staff itself. All that is left is not serious. Interior was interesting and the whole street is full with bars so I would pick this one for beer if others were closed only. So have fun in the city, have a beer and move on
Not a great place if its your first time in town. Its literally next to other 15 bars and clubs, all offering a better nightlife experience in the old town. Cocktails are poorly done, prices are in line with the neighborhood but the quality is definitely lower than every other places Ive been. Staff is overall nice, but that doesnt justify their lack of experience. I dont think Ill visit again
Usually it is very crowded and it is hard to dance there. And staff is a bit angry and impolite (maybe because of people but it is not an excuse). Also, it is a normal place if you want to have fun and get some drinks (they are not very good at making great cocktails or shots but it is okay).
A good place to chill at the day time with a pint of delicious Lithuanian beer and a fun place to dance at night
Good place for a beer, I do not recommend the cocktails
