I don’t normally write reviews but I had to being this was the first day I was able to get out of bed and off the toilet. I ate here and became violently sick from food poisoning. Never eat here

Never take out 1hr before it closes because I did that and I got a Lil bit of food didnt get my avocado and the beans were watered down had no flavor had to throw them out very nasty it was just water no beans no plantains no flavor.I order 2 Bandeja paisa which is not cheap either.Very disappointing. Gave it 2 stars because the steak taste good.

Second time I have the pleasure to eat at this amazing Colombian Restaurant. The food always exceeds my expectations. From the appetizers to the main meal everything is delicious. The live music was a great touch! I had an amazing time and will recommend this restaurant to everyone I know!! Gracias por una tarde muy alegre y rica.

We ate lunch here today and it was delicious! Our meals tasted fresh and authentic, even the kid’s chicken strips. The staff was kind and courteous. We will definitely go back!

When I worked right on Lake Emma, Id go here for lunch with work associates often. Its always delicious. I brought my wife one time and we both enjoyed it immensely. I kept forgetting to go back until last night. They have a Pollo Milano dish, which is really a Columbian style chicken cutlet, that is probably the best chicken cutlet ever. Id been thinking about since my last visit. Last night I realized they make a pork cutlet the same way. The Milano del Cerdo is the best pork cutlet Ive ever had. Its far superior to wiener schnitzel, but thats the closet comparison. The rice and beans have small cubed potatoes in the beans. Delicious and hardy. The tostones are always perfect. We also had the beef empanadas and they were excellent. The dough is crispy, but a little thicker than Id expected with almost a pastry quality. The beef filling had those diced potatoes again making the spice mixture not only delicious but satisfying. My wife had the Ropa Vieja which is beef dish, with wonderfully tender and flavorful beef that shreds as you touch it. Cannot wait to go back. Also, my wife had that mango margarita which was absolutely delicious. Not too sweet, with real mango juice.

We have been coming here for many many years, even before renovations. We have always had a great experience, food is amazing and price is decent. Great food and ambiance. David was our server last time and he went above and beyond.

So disappointed. Normally never have a problem with this restaurant but today was such a disappointment. Missing our beans for our meal, chicken strips were skimpy and missing a few, and soup was so cold. Doubt I’ll be coming back here from now on.

If youre hispanic and you cook then the food will be a little mediocre for you. The beans have like no flavor. One thing I will say is the meat is actually pretty phenomenal. Its always fresh. Its just an okay spot. Not amazing but not awful.

A couple of years ago I visited this restaurant and I was disappointed. Recently, I decided to give it another try and I wont be back.Last week I ordered a bandeja paisa and soup. The food was ok and delivered well (hence the three stars). Tonight I ordered the mini picada and arroz con maduros. The food seemed old and thrown together. Not to mention how expensive it was for such small portions. I am happy for the people that had a good experience. 👍 However, that should be the case every single time.

Excellent food and service. The Restaurant was clean and not too loud either. The food was fresh and arrived hot and in a timely manner. Our waitress was upbeat and attentive to us the entire meal. We got the chicken sandwich (delish!), a chicken empanada (also yum), and the bandeja paisa (a favorite). The Poker beer is also delicious. We will be back.

It seems the people who left negative reviews are so proud to be crusty dusty unseasoned chickens. Haha. Food was amazing, service was super friendly, quick, and VERY tasty. We will definitely be back!

Great service, George or Jorge was funny and the food was excellent, we had the paisa bandeja and the steak de la antioquena. Everything was fresh and came fast. Our blackberry juice was fresh and tasty. They need to bring back the coconut flan though please.

The short “mother” of the restaurant was very disrespectful to me as my first interaction with her & i wasn’t even in to dine or for my own personal food . She assumed somethin & shop’s me away when i showed her my door dash order screen for pickup………

The whole experience was great. We had a wedding catered and ended up with way more food than we needed because the portions are huge. Absolutely delicious. On time delivery. Great prices. Excellent customer service.

Great food and great service, manager needs a bit more training she lets her employees down when she cant be the face of the establishment when questions that not even she has the right answer for arise

We visited a couple of days ago, ask for a table outside because we had our puppy with us. Waited for about 10 minutes for someone to come to ask, no server came out. Just one person kindly seat us and brought us the menus and that was all.

Food was great, service was great. They closed at 9 and not once did I feel rushed to leave as I got there late. I’ll definitely be eating here again!

I can not tell you how the food tastes in this place. As the manager was kind enough to tell us that our group of four would not be seated in a table for six, away for other groups of people. The restaurant was occupied at less than 50% of capacity.We requested this seating because we have high risk COVID people in our group, as we told the manager.He did offer for us to seat outside where they have 6 seat tables available.We thank the management for their courtesy.We chose to find a better place for our dining experience.Unfortunately this comment does not allow to use a rating less than one star.

My husband and I have been coming here for so long and we can’t stop coming. It’s true Colombian food, with amazing Colombian vibes. Jose gives such amazing service, and is just an all around pleasure. I got the paella and Jose suggested one of the steaks for my husband and they were both amazing. So much food, we always leave satisfied.

This place is AMAAAAZING!!!!! First of all my whole family (14 peoplegot here and got a table immediately! Our waiter was Jorge who was spectacular! He got all of our orders right and was super super nice! He even gave recommendations. And then the food… OMG!!!!! Everything was made to perfection! I’m definitely coming back ❤️

Everyone’s attention!!! Don’t come to this place with a credit/debit card. Go with cash. Just an advice if you don’t want to be robbed. I stopped coming here because of this. Being over charged every week. Not realizing what they were doing was wrong. I am fed up with this restaurant that is why I don’t go there anymore. Used to go with a large group of people on Sundays and prices are tooo high. Besides that after gratuity has been taken. The waiter ( male had the audacity to ask me how much tips I am giving him. Are you kidding me??? Then when I see what I was charged for, was usually $10-$13 dollars. Which I never agreed upon. Lord have mercy!! The truth has to be said.

I used to come to this place when I was living in Sanford, and the quality was great; however , today Thursday 05.20.21 I’ve invited my wife to lunch, and we were so disappointed with the food quality. We’ve asked for a chicken in onions, and the chicken was overcook and dry, also the presentation was similar as a fajitas plate, not an usual typical/traditional presentation of the dish. The drinks were more water than “natural” juice, too much diluted. They took 45 minutes bringing the dishes to the table; however the hostess and waitress attention were fenomenal (that’s why the 3 starts).

Nice place to celebrate a birthday. They got POKER, Águila and Club Colombia!! 🤧I have been there a few times before and didnt know that. Love u guys. Thanks for yesterday

So disappointed in the food. I was back in the area visiting and was looking forward to trying their food. I ordered take out since the hotel I was staying at was less than 2 miles away. I ordered the chicharron. There was absolutely nothing crispy about it! I dont even understand how the "meat" was overcooked, but the skin was as if it was boiled - this is how "not crispy" it was. I also ordered the pressed bistec steak sandwich. The bread was perfect, but the steak was so tough and hard to chew. Maybe I got the worse two things to order, so I would definitely not recommend what I ordered. How do you get chicharron wrong!

I am not one to generally give such a scathing review but after todays lunch service I felt moved to be so direct. The service was beyond underwhelming. The server was absent through the majority of our dinner service to the point we had to ask another staff member about how we were ready to order. At this point we had been sitting for twenty minutes with no interaction after being given a glass of water. The food came out timely enough yet there was no table touch until or inquiry from the staff if the food was acceptable or if we needed anything. I inquired about a salsa rosada for my picada and the server brought it after the dinner service stating it was everyone elses fault that we did not receive it forty minutes prior. All in all it would take a miracle for our family to return. The food was ok but I think Ill drive a bit farther next time and get better service somewhere else.

I love this place. Best Spanish food thus far since I have been in Florida. Fresh food, great quality with plentiful portions, excellent customer service, clean and friendly. My favorite is the sautéed chicken strip meal. I forget the Spanish name.

Do not recommend and will not be returning. This business is shady. My family and I went to eat there a few days ago. I checked my bank account yesterday and was charged nearly $50 more than what my bill was when the waitress brought it. I called to inquire about it and they said that the waitress made a mistake and after we left they called the bank and charged us a different amount. I get mistakes are made, but if I sign for an amount that is the amount I am authorizing. Sad, because the food isnt bad.

Very rude people in the service, bad actitud, slow service, when I asked their about the bad service the cashier girl looked at me like when someone will kill any one. I do this review to let it know to the owner but I will never be back there. I just went there to pick up something, I don’t want to imagine how is the service in the place. I don’t recommend this place for nothing. I checked the reviews and I’m no the only one got problem with the services. I think the only thing good is the chef. I gave one star but it doesn’t deserve anyone. Hey owner replace the personal and probably your restaurant gets better.

My family, friends and co-workers have come to this restaurant since 2010. Weve always had great service and food until today when we went out for lunch. Starting with the staff that do not wear masks or gloves. We were sat at a table and were told to wait for the waitress who was taking care of another table at this point theres two waitresses who could have taken our drinks at least but they were too busy talking. The lady that took care of us had little knowledge about the menu and the daily specials so it took a while to figure out our order. Finally we got the food but apart from the sizzling hot plate the meat was cold and hard within a few minutes. Theres a limited kids menu so if your kid wants something different itll cost you $5 a side. So we paid $15 for a kids plate. Theres no reason your plates should be so overpriced for the quality of your food and service. Frustrated and disappointed we would have been better off at a Pollo Tropical. The boy who calls himself a manager is only there because its a family run business but it used to be great when the actual owners were around.

The appetizers were top notch & staff was friendly. However, when I decided to order an entree (Bandeja Paisaeverything was ok except the steak was really chewy (we couldnt eat itand the rice was mushy. This place has great potential however they need to go for better quality meats without any hormones and offer better quality ingredients.

I was pleased with the food however I found wierd stuff in my beans, one of them was a HUGE rock. The restaurant said sorry and moved on. I wont be visiting again.

I have been here many times, and have received friendly service about once (if that). Staff is not that friendly as owners are not either. In my opinion, the food is bland without adding your own spices. They are the only Colombian restaurant in town so there is not really another option for Colombian food. They DO have good lunch specials for the price, but I prefer to support an establishment that appreciates their customers and not annoyed when you need, napkins, or a spoon for your soup.

Love it! My husband and I eat here often. We have tried everything on the menu and the food is fantastic. He usually gets the platter and I get extra yucca with the green sauce. Yummmmm! The staff is friendly and welcoming. This is one of our favorite places to go for lunch.

This is what I hate about eating at these places sometimes. Why do Spanish people like to rip people off. Order of rice and beans, pork belly(pork craklinthey call it thick bacon. $19.00 you go to a Dominican place you will get better more portion for $6.00 for a full meal. Thank you Daniela V for charging me $10 when the menu said $5.99. Never coming back.Do you see a arepa on the pic. I paid for the rice and beans. If they bent over backwards, then would you not agree $19 for 3 small pieces of pork belly (crispy baconis a rip off. Dont be so defensive, learn from the mistake and learn to apologize. Learn how to make crispy bacon. Go to Pollos Mario, they can teach you how to cook real Colombian.

The meal we ordered was great. Large portion and a fair price. Service was decent, we were attended to and checked on but it wasnt over done. I appreciate that. They are a Colombian themed restaurant, with decor and backgrounds. The music could have been varied a little more. Overall this is a great place to visit. My coworkers and I will be visiting again
