Best breakfast I ever had!.... Theyre now my go to restaurant..... Fantastic Turkey dinners!Now, several months later, my daughter flew in to celebrate my birthday...... Wouldnt you know I just had to take her here.....We both had chef salads and coffee...I had a bowl of chicken noodle soup......Lunch was fabulous....Portions so big we both had to take home a lot!...And the coffee here is superb. ...If I didnt work so much, Id be back here much more often!!! Check it out....You wont be disappointed......

Service was slow, food was either wrong or raw or overcooked (ex: hashbrowns were raw, eggs were over cookedfood was just mediocre, in general.I used to like this restaurant. Its really gone down hill in the last 2 years.

I want to point out that the wait staff was good and that this in no way reflects on them at all. My wife and I had the skillets and they were very lacking. They were both mostly potatoes and they were the square cut frozen things with no flavor. The chorizo seemed to be just seasoned ground beef as it was clumped up which I have never seen chorizo do and not at all spicy like it should have been. There was very little of the rest of the stuff that should have been the "filling" and the toast was cold and not buttered. The eggs on top were about the only things that were done right. Both of us left 2/3 of the food at the table when we left and I have only had food that bad only one other time in my life. My suggestion is to go to Angels house of pancakes in town if you want the skillets they are by far better.

Seems to be changing the portion ratio on Sausage gravy & Hash browns. First time I have had this issue. Waitress never came back until she dropped off the check. Dont know if it was a bad day for everybody or what. . .

The plates are full and food is great. The service is great also. Had plenty leftovers for the next day.

Meh, I had the grilled chicken sandwich, very plain tasting! Hubby had breakfast, the country fried steak, and he loved it. Great service too!

Super place! Wonderful food, and very friendly service! Breakfast or lunch it good! I enjoyed the Hawaiian Omelet, Blueberry Crepe. My wife enjoyed the Asparagus & Mushroom Skillet. Early morning is very busy, but worth the short wait.

Currently very disappointed. Ive eaten here a few times in the past and cant recall this place being remarkable besides that they seemed to stay fairly busy. On this last occasion however I can honestly say Id have rather stayed home. The food I ordered was okay at best. The staff seemed to just be milling about rather than getting anything accomplished. Was anything bad? No. But it just wasnt good enough to justify hanging out for as long as it took to get my order. Would I eat here again? Only if someone insisted we eat here.

The bananas foster french toast and veggie skillet were both AMAZINGLY delicious! Lux offers a variety of options on their menu and the place is always full yet I have never had to wait to be seated. I highly recommend!

Service was fast even though restaurant was crowded. I went with my husband on a Saturday morning. Portion sizes were huge, yet I ate more than expected, because it was that good. The orange juice was freshly squeezed. Very clean restaurant. Very attentive wait staff. Best breakfast I have had in a long time and best service.

I loved their French toast and the scrambles! The service is nice. The restaurant has been busy each time I visited, the wait wasnt bad for how many people were there. Only 4 stars because the hash browns where very bad... They were just a ball of mush😒

I am a ma-paw breakfast/lunch enjoyer! Been to about all the ones in the Michiana area. The service was wonderful, staff were polite, clean environment and the best hash browns I had. Most importantly they kept the coffee full. I look forward to going back.

Really good food, really good price. I would have put 5 stars, but they put me on the spot by asking how much to tip for carry out. This should be on the receipt for me to write in. It seems rude to directly ask how much you want to tip.

The food was decent. I had a patty melt with fries and a salad. Fries were good, so many on my plate.. didnt eat all of them. Salad was average, could have used a few more cukes and tomatoes. Service was good.

I stopped to eat at Lux while traveling through the area. The wait staff was friendly and fast. I really enjoyed the french fries; the crispy coating made them some of the best I’ve eaten recently. Unfortunately, the bread on my sandwich tasted a bit off. I thought I just wasn’t used to eating rye and dismissed it… my stomach later confirmed the bread was in fact bad. The restaurant was also very loud, and that took some of the enjoyment out of my meal.

Wow! BIG portions. Double the number of eggs you ordered. Super price!

Years coming to this place an never disappoints the food is always impeccable the waitresses are amazing totally reccomend for any type of occasion any time of day to make it better make sure to stop by an give them a try I promise you wont be disappointed 😋

Lux is a hidden gem!!! As many times as Ive been to Goshen. I feel like I have been cheated😂😂the service was Awesome. The food was perfect. Our waitress was so attentive. We ordered 2 signature skillets ( steak, green peppers, onion, scrambled eggs, cheese piled high on diced potatoesyummy!!!! I never got past a half cup of coffee because the refills were constant!! I definitely would invite others to try Lux Cafe. The prices are commensurate to the portions you receive. I will stop in for breakfast whenever I come to pick up a load in this area. Lux you have a new customer!!! I couldnt eat it all. I left full and extremely satisfied and you will too🙂

Very friendly and helpful staff. Ordered French Dip...Arbys is better. Meat had no flavor, bread was almost crumbling, no cheese!!! and the "au jus" was more like water. I would try again though, everyone around me had very good looking plates.

In town for a class this week and stopped here around 1700 on a tuesday and service was very good and the food came out quick, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the patty melt, cottage cheese, and potato soup. I forgot to take a picture of the potato soup but all three menu items were good. The food was just as ordered and was hot and fresh. The hostess, waitress, and other staff were very nice.

Very good local restaurant. Good service. Nothing extraordinary. Food was good, although it was like warm at best. Watched it sit on trays for about 5 minutes.

I dont know why it took me so long to try this restaurant! Delicious, hearty plates of food and very reasonable prices! Well be back!

The food wasnt anything I could get out of a can and make at home. Nothing was fresh. Very bland. Weird after taste. Not what I expected at all. Even the water tasted funny... Not impressed by anything but the cleanliness of the bathroom. Will not be returning.

This is a local favorite. I am just back visiting today. But I used to live here and this was a regular hangout for good breakfast and lunch. The service and the food is always good and the atmosphere is family-oriented. This is definitely worth trying if youre just driving through.
