LOD - Lord of the Drinks in Kathmandu

It may be a great place for locals but for someone who has experienced clubbing in other parts of the world, this place is dirty, unsafe and dangerously overcrowded. Sound system is good and so is the lighting system; other than that not my place to visit again

The worst security Ive ever experienced. A bunch of sheeps is what the club has hired for their staffs. Ill be glad to explain everything about the bad services they provide. Respectfully, the concerned authorities should really look into the staffing issues. If not i have full support on whoever is planning to sue the clubs bouncers.

Overrated, Expensive and low quality services. sahadev who stays at the Entrance was rude. Everytime go here mood gets spoilt. Over crowded and cheap people misbehaving. You wont enjoy much, wont allow you to dance with friends together, bouncers will come to warn you to dance without touching each other. I mean, with friends dancing together isnt a big deal. If its unknown person than it should be prohibited but with friends man I feel its okay. Nice place if you want to spend money and take videos/photos, if you pay will tribute your name on big screen also. But there are other night clubs in Kathmandu that are better and has reasonable price.

Not hesitating, to mention one of the best clubs or night pubs, I have ever visited, decent, awesome, music crowd. complete decoding.

Loved the place at first glance.... couldnt stay more than 10 min as people were smoking like everywhere...and rude staff..

Really disappointed with whatever package system or so called classification they have. Really didn’t explain to us how it works just said that because we have a different wrist band we are only allowed to sit on the corner tables. I mean common like ,seriously? At least explain to the customers how things work if they do no know. Amazing lighting and great vibe. But food, I obviously didn’t try everything from the menu but the chicken dish it was so spicy that we couldn’t even eat. On asking a customer service crew if they have a dessert they directly said no nothing and the other person was like just get a mocktail, like seriously? People were dying from the spice. I am sure they could do better at asking customer how spicy they would like or May be just give them heads up that it comes a little spicy, are you okay with it? Sometime it’s not about what you get it’s also about how you get. May be because I heard too much about it I had high expecting. Very disappointed, for the place, lightings dj would have given 5/5 but the service, I am sure it could better.

Everything was amazing apart from smoking . They should stop people to smoke while they dancing on the floor. Crowd, drunk people dancing and walking everywhere with cigarette in their hands is not good. People holding restrooms for an hour to smoke. They must stop it and design one small area only for smoking.

We’re visiting Nepal and decided to check the place out. Nice place for a good night out although I do have some things to say that the club could improve on…. Would’ve given a 4 star, but the below reasons have stopped me from doing so.First thing we noticed was the amount of bouncers just watching us the minute we walked in. We had a table reserved and there were 2 women bouncers just watching us the whole time which made us feel very uncomfortable. We were told not to do this and that almost every 30 minutes considering we were all very sober and just had a couple of drinks. Between the few of us who were there almost all of us were told off for something minor. This is will eventually put people off from the club…your staff and bouncers need some proper training and training on how to speak/behave with customers.Another major thing was, the club was not smoke free inside which was absurd. It would be much better for some customers if they had a smoke terrace or something outside the venue as we were surrounded by smoke at one point. They need to realize not everybody who attends smokes and not everyone likes smelling like smoke when coming home…

The bouncer or whoever those guys were they really should be humbled! The way they talked with us was way too rude. They even strangled and choked two of us by their arms violently and the lady who sits there was very rude with us even after we payed they did not let us in. Those ugly guys are not there to choke or strangle someone they are there to control the crowd or whatever.

Famous among the people celebrating the night life in Kathmandu, this place is a bit hyped for what it is and what it serves. I think it a go once place to say been there done that. There are better places and better things to do in thamel.

This is just a wide open place then others, after all everything is same o same like other pub, club etc, reserved tables are not wide its smaller, the funny thing is you can used your phone but you can not used camera even GoPro etc, no shoes will have to rent used shoes 1500-2000NPR.

Best place 2 party at night

A great place to hangout with friends. Prices are okay too. Speakers, lightings and the environment makes you dissolve in the mood of dance and what more!Must visit this place if you are a party lover.

They said is worlds 52, just keep that way. Of course its huge in Nepal , good sound and lighting but wasnt much impressed in my recent visit . Reminds me of school days hey you cant do this, you can’t do this so much rules to obey, cloud of cigarettes smokes 🤮yucks, most of its siting area only for reserved people so you either booked it or stand on the floor as long as you can and bouncer please be nice to your costumer. Can dance more people without knocking each other if island bar weren’t there in the middle of dance floor.

The pub is situated in the center of Thamel and it is one of the tourists center points in Thamel. It mainly opens in the late evening and closes in the morning. The music system and the dance floor are good but there are 1k NPR entry fees and you will get complimentary drinks. Still need to improve in services and attitude of the staffs and bouncers. There are many freelancers in and around the pub and its better to beware of them otherwise you will fall into scams. The pub is usually crowded on Friday night.

I will give 0 star because management is too bad and the manager are also not good but staffs are goods... Manager ko sirf meeting hi karna hai toh kahi or kare ya restaurant band karke kare.. Music ka sirf wait hi karte rah gaye music nahi bja.. Too bad experience for me and my friends. I will suggest to all that no one come to this place 🤬😡😠

Amazing club!!!Never expected something out of the world in Nepal.Nice dance floor and good music.I was a tourist and I asked the bartender Mr.YAGYA to display my friends name on the screen. He asked me 1000rs which I obliged and after charging he didnt even respond and asked me to go away. Plz dont spoil the reputation of a place because of your staff.

Amazing club, putting Nepali clubbing scene on the global map. Good range of music, good security, professionalism and drinks. Drinks on the pricier side but this is Nepal’s top club so what do you expect?Must go if you’re in town.

They charge 1k for entry fees, but no tables for seating even as early as 9 clock, drinks are overpriced and staffs are not truly hospitable.

It’s a good place and nice environment. Entry fee 1000 rs is little high. I ordered Chicken Lolly pop and it was extremely spicy . I hardly eat 2 pieces and I asked my server that I couldn’t eat because it’s so spicy . She said there is nothing she can do because it’s already made . I told her she suppose to ask me the spicy level when taking an order . She try to ignore so I talked to manger and I told him to taste it. After he tasted and agreed that it was very spicy . Finally he brought less spicy lolly pop .

Safe and reasonable place to hangout.

If there was an option to give 0 star, I’d do that. Good club and the most unhospitable staff I have ever seen in my life. You guys dont do justice to the place, please behave or come to India we will teach you what hospitality is, we are good at it.

They r lame! The whole club was empty and they were after us just because we moved one chair.I have added the picture of current state of the place! Absolutely empty and they have a problem cause we moved one chair!Very bad experience

It is the worst club to be in Nepal. We were a group of 10 people. When we asked for the bill, they didn’t give us the bill. After fighting with them for 30 minutes, they finally gave us the bill. After paying the bill, they were harassing us accusing us of taking video in the club. They threatened and pushed all the females in the group also tore the shirt of one of my friend. They were being racist. After paying the bill, the female attendant said to the bouncers that now we have paid the bill, throw them out of the club. Highly recommended to all the people in India and everywhere to not go to this club, where their only aim is to rob people if they ask for the bill and to torture them once they have paid the bill. The worst place to be in Nepal. Even after paying money, they treated us as if we were thieves.

Very poor place.. waste of money and waste of time. We came here at 8.30 and started with the corona beer nobody could buy.. and then we were checking our complementary beer Carlsberg . We ordered 2 chicken drumstick lollipop. But unexpectedly we were asked to pay the bill before our 2nd chkn plate comes. This is really irritating. I dont know why??? Is tat jz bcz we r Indians?? So dont treat any customers like this.. really a bad experience.. we r leaving this place at 9.40. So people who come here must be aware. We jz paid 4200. It could be 14000... unlucky LOD.. I saw so may pplz jz having their complement drink. And they are not asked for bill. But for us its a shame. We travel here about 3800 kms by bike to enjoy. But we are really soooo disappointed 😞

One of the perfect place to score good things (you know if you know 🤫The security is pretty good, the people serving the drinks 🍺 are good looking and above all the ladies binding the tag of entry into the club were friendly too. There are chairs that are booked prior to the starting of the party. Those will cost around 7000 Nepali rupee. With that booking come food and drinks free up to 7000 Nepali rupee. But I want to warn the tourist about the fact that there remains a chance that the waiter will over charged the total cost. So it is highly advisable to keep your own track of what you are eating and drinking. Otherwise you will end up paying more than what you actually had.

One of the best places in Kathmandu to party, the food and drinks are amazing and they have maintained good security so dont worry about any nuisance, especially for girls. If you are looking for an amazing party this is one of them.

Its Asia third best Club and Bar for ambience , superb DJ 🎧👨‍🎤🎶 🍻 and exceptional lightning but poor hospitality seen in staff, lack of customer service. Need to learn customer management.

One of the best club in the town, LOD- Lord of the Drinks is a great place to party. A huge space with a central bar, great music and lighting, and wall with the screen definitely enhance your experience.Its a 5 star worth rating club but as the night goes by and you get drunk the charge for the shots are so random and expensive. So I must say shots are so not worth it if you are planning to get drunk specially the double glass shots with a red-bull in it.Lastly Im very confused if I have to pay for the entrance or not as some says its free for girls cause sometimes I have to pay for the entry (talking about normal weekdays and weekends, not about the special event)
