LEGOLAND Florida Water Park - Water park in Buenaventura Lakes, United States
Went here for the first time for their Halloween celebration, and was pleasantly surprised. More activities for the kids than we could attend. That with some decent rides made for a great day.
It was and amazing family day. There plenty to do for young and adults. Is easy to move around if your are on a wheelchair. They help you I. Almost everything buy you have yo be able to get in and out of the rides by your self. 100% recommend to all ages
Not worth to visit most of the important things are closed. It’s not worth to spend that much money for all the three parks I visited and non of them feel it worth. I visited on both week end and week day (today).I booked for all three parks peppa pig was mentioned close by 5 pm and they closed early at 3:50 Pm and they mentioned they closed for temporarily and they don’t open today. Most of popular rides are close in main park and they said for annual maintenance not sure how all popular one will closed and maintained in same day.Water park they closed splash out and twin chasers and they looks open joker soaker but they closed all the slides except one small one. While I asked they said they have less staff so they closed other slides. We came all the way from Texas with 6 people group having kids here. Even kids also not enjoyed mostly it’s wasted 6 people ticket money and time for two days.I wish to give 0 star for the reason I get from them.
We have been to lego land a few times, and we always go to the water park as well! It makes for a full day adventure and a nice place to cool off during the heat! The wave pool is a lot of fun, the slides and many hands on adventures like building a boat to race! Fun for the whole family and any age!
A great place to let out your inner kid. An absolutely amazing place for families - they have so many accommodations for children of varying stages in age and cognitive/sensory development. The prices weren’t bad at all and the afternoon/evening was extremely quiet, as most kids are only able to have enough energy for a few hours. Get an unlimited refill cup, take your time and explore, and enjoy the fun details. There’s a water park for an additional cost but there’s a large variety of rides and shows even without it. Get the Apple fries with ice cream and caramel! Basically a kid friendly way to eat apple pie. Was only around $9.
We had a blast! We were there for about 5 hours and we didn’t even see everything. Our kids (7 & 8 years oldhad so much fun! The Emmet’s Flying Adventure, “a thrilling riff on the flying double-decker couch” was definitely the highlight of the day. We rode it twice. 🤣 We went during the off-season (October 3rdand there were hardly any people there and it was amazing. The weather was also really nice.
Great little water park! Staff was nice and polite. Food is good. They offer a tidier section, lazy River, wave pool , large water jungle gym, two tube sides, and three large slides (with height limits). Just be prepared to pay for any storage needed while you go swimming. Also, They could use more shade for the chairs.
Not Disney World, but still had some good rides. It was better for our 6 year old that could ride everything. (40 inches gets you on most rides, including the couch ride that was our favorite). We went on a school day Monday and did not wait in any line.
This is a place for anyone who appreciates Legos in ANY form, the park is big enough to stay busy, but not so big you cant get through it in a day...my kids LOVE this place, but me and my husband love it more! The prices are kind of high so be prepared, and DO NOT bring cash. They are 100% card only!
Expensive for what you get. Dont go unless your an absolute lego fanatic. Extra price for admission to water park so I skipped it. This used to be free for Military, first responders etc. But not anymore. Apple fries were good.
Our family of five loved it. We stayed at one of the Lego resorts and breakfast was included each day. The park opens at 10:00 a.m. and I highly recommend getting the tickets included for the water park. Also, buy the drink cup for the day, well worth it and they have plenty of drink stations around the park to refill with.
Wonderful experience for my family and I. Really love the idea of buying the Souvenir cups and getting all types of cold drinks for free,as well as cold water available for everyone. That really made the difference as everyone remained hydrated and we didnt even realize when 5pm was upon us.lolWould recommend legoland to everyone. The icing on the cake was the gifts given to children on exiting legoland. My children are still coloring and answering the questions in the book. Thank you legoland for making our experience worthwhile.
Great place for family fun, we’ve been her 3 times and their was no line longer than 20
Bad day turned OK then Good then Great.Busy day waited 1hr for a ride only to be told they had to close down because of rain. People then flocked to indoor rides. Waited 2 hours for Ninjago. We were very close to the front when they announced they had to close down the ride. Just great! After a while people started to go home. Park went to pretty empty all of a sudden. Was suggested by fellow visitor to go customer service. They may be able to get complementary tickets for next visit.Rain then stopped, most rides available again. We had total of 7 rides with no wait time at all. Wow.Went to customer service, got our complementary tickets for next time. Rain Yeaaah!
We had the most wonderful time because our 9 year old could ride everything! Very clean, the crowds werent bad either!
Closed down a while for weather. Wouldnt buy unlimited photos unless you go to the character area. Nice experience overall, just didnt get to use cabana and waterpark as much as I would of liked to. Would recommend flying experience in the Duplo area!
It was great, I am so happy that they are keeping part of the old Cypress Gardens area and trees although it needs some maintenance.
legoland what to say...... the happy space for your children.I recommend the ticket in advance or the annual subscription because the day ticket is really expensive,i really enjoyed the water park with artificial sea and miniland........I did not like the attitude of the staff at the entrance......that I then found inside where staff made up of young guys give ugly answers to customers
Great park for young children. We visited on July 4th and were pleasantly surprised to have no wait times for the rides. Lines were short and moved quickly. Dining options were great. Allergy friendly and plant based/vegan friendly options available.
I loved Legoland I think more than my kids, the beach resort was awesome too. Everything was reasonably priced and the kids enjoyed themselves. I will say that the park needs to improve their photography I wouldve liked to take better family photos other than the ones on the rides and to create a separate entrance for the Waterpark. It was a pretty long trek there and back and its even worst when you and the children are tired. Overall I still give the park a 👍🏾
Fun park for kids 12 and under. A bit run down and the freestyle machines were all empty if popular flavors by mid afternoon. The kids are short—we opted for the express passes but really didn’t need them (it was a weekday)
Park was clean and staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend staying at the hotel at least once for the full experience! The park is definitely geared towards younger children but there is fun to be found for all ages! The water show is a cant miss! Be sure to bring lego characters for trading with staff!
The Legoland Waterpark is located within Legoland which I was unaware of prior to going. That walk took us through Legoland on an extremely hot day. It was almost unbearable. The day we went the temperature was in the 90s. Why doesnt the Waterpark have a separate entrance? We were not interested in walking through Legoland exhausted on our way back to the car. Anyway, be sure to bring towels, hats, fans, sunscreen and maybe a wagon. I highly recommend water shoes as the asphalt gets really hot walking to and from different areas. Although, its a rather small park; it had 2 eateries, the food is pretty good. It wasnt packed with people which was great. The wave pool had islands for sitting and Legos for kids to play while in the water. There was a small lazy river with different float options. There was an area for toddlers, a large splash/slide zone and a Lego water table. These spots kept us busy for hours. We had lots of fun despite the heat. The Legoland Waterpark is a great place for families on a summer Florida day.
My family and I visited the park and had a blast! My boys are 5 and 6. If you want to visit the park to go on rides, I dont think it would be enjoyable for children over 9 years old, as most rides are for younger children. The park is very clean and fun and there are panty of opportunities to buy lego sets and collectibles.
Such an amazing experience for kids wait time was all under 20 mins kids rode every ride some even twice we had a blast!!!!
It was a fun trip for our 4 year old. No wait in line and fun for everyone. I would recommend not eating at the buffet though it definitely is not worth the $20 per person.
We had a pretty great time. The only bummer was when the power went out for over an hour because a car outside the park had hit a pole so the electric company shut the whole park down as a safety measure. The food is a bit pricey so definitely eat before you go to cut down on some of the expense. Thank you for great memories Legoland my grandsons loved it ages 2 and 4.
We have loved our experience with Legoland park and the water park! We’ve had a lot of fun and during our time didn’t have to wait in lines. I would give 5 stars except a few attractions we were interested in were closed for maintenance (which is understandingand some features like the mini land look all dirty and faded, and also an island or two in the wave pool of the water park were in need of repair. Also in the water park, only 1 of 3 big slides was open so the kids had to stand and wait a bit. It would be nice to have some more overhead fans/sprayers for cooling for those of us not used to this Orlando heat. The staff were all nice and the pirate actors and skiers in the show were fantastic! Overall it was great! We would definitely come again!
Just right for ~4 to 10 year olds. The grounds are beautiful and there is still a part of Cypress Garden towards the back of the park they preserved.
I am so glad that we chose this park! Our visit could not have been better. The park was not crowded, and the kids were able to ride everything that they wanted to with little to no wait. The Lego displays were phenomenal and make me want to start playing with Legos again. Lol. The only bad thing is I missed that they went cashless on the app and Expedia, but that wasnt a problem fortunately. The park was clean, bathrooms clean and employees were friendly and chatty (well the girl at the parking booth gave a little tude), but everyone else was great. They give you options for drink refills which softened the blow of the high prices. I would definitely bring my grand children back.
We love Lego land!! Went last week of April and it was perfect, other than the water park closing at 5pm and the Lego park at 6pm … Cypress Gardens botanical garden is my favorite part!
Great place to take the kids. We took my Son for his 5th Birthday and he enjoyed every bit of it. We went to the aventure park the 2nd day. We still have to go back to check out the new Peppa Pig park
What an awesome place to bring young kids. My family spent three days here, and we couldnt be happier. The fast passes are great to do alot of rides on busy days but even without fast passes the lines arent nearly as bad as Disney or Universal. There are plenty of shaded places to sit!!! As well as plenty of tot lots for little ones who arent big enough to ride the rides. The water park is perfect for kids. A huge splash pad, wave pool and lazy river pretty much covers everything you need to make some happy, tired kids.I love Legoland, it will be a sad day when my kids are too old for this place.
Perfect place for families with lots of children of different ages! Theres a part of the park for everyone! The toddler Duplo area is lacking, but thats been made up for x 1000 with Peppa Pig land!!!! We had a blast!
Awesome, both parks were very enjoyable for everyone no matter ages. We decided to get annual passes because its really awesome.
Park was very clean, staff was very helpful & friendly. Plenty of shaded rest spots. I would suggest doing at least 2 days in order to enjoy both park & water park inside. Youre only able to access tickets for Water park if you purchase the park ticket as well. We didnt realize that so we missed that opportunity. Since this is a family park I wish that you could purchase it seaperately since kids can get exhausted. Especially if your staying at one of their resorts.
Had a great time with my family. Im a fan of legos since very young and being my first time, I really enjoyed it. Also if you havent noticed the blackout days while having the bricks pass. You will need to pay again before entering the parks. Have fun.
Great for kids...warm water and lots of activities for them. Overall enjoyed by entire family. We had cabana rental also and great customer service 👏 😀.
This is a nice park, bathrooms are fairly decently clean and it’s a relaxing comfortable park. I rate it 3 stars, because there isn’t many rides for adults, as this park was solely designed for children. And the park which has a huge parking lot, only supplies a single 2 plug electric vehicle charge station. They need to have more charge stations available to guests. Especially when we travel pretty far to come to the park. The line to park, is not very well managed and takes forever to let people park. And lines for security should have a line for people who don’t have bags. It’s a mismanaged operation that has plenty of room for improvement. Aside from that the park is fun and the Lego stores have lots of Lego sets that are hard to find. Hours are short and with the waits, limits what you can do in the park.
Great place for kids and adults will enjoy it just as much. We celebrated my sons Birthday there and he absolutely loved it.Plan on a full day, so get there when it first opens.
It worth to buy the annual passes if you live here in FL and plan to come so often. My 8 years old had some much fun here. We loved it and we plan to come back soon. The only thing that is not very convenience is that they have just one place for refresh and food at the entrance of the water park and the line and wait time is over 20min.
Surprised our 10 year old son with a visit to Legoland and he absolutely loved it! Clean park with enough rides and entertainment to keep us busy all day. The water show is a must!
I am retired and thoroughly enjoyed it! I loved the Santa Post Office where you write a letter to Santa and watch it go directly to the North Pole. The scavenger hunt was fun
We had a great time, kids had a blast! The water park is located within Legoland park, kind of in the back. We were lost at first. They have the “you are here” maps lol. Was able to find it after walking in the back towards the blue ford display car-after passing through Lego city. Not to far of a walk I guess. There were a few ice cream and snack stands along the way. Nice outside pizza eatery too. I found the snacks reasonably priced especially compared to other similar establishments nearby. We got the Bubble wands for $20 from the Lego store near back. Disney has them for $40, so I thought $20 was a steal!Kids aren’t allowed on rides with only a bathing suit (thinking back now, it makes sense). It angered me at first, having waited in a long line and not being allowed on rude bc of kids clothing. The Lego store sells kids outfits (convenient right). The beach chairs or seating is plentiful, which is a nice bonus. Being that covid is still a thing, plenty of seating allows everyone to be spaced out, it’s nice. There are also lots of safety vests for kids to use while in water). The waters depth is kid friendly-not to deep (which is awesome).Oh, before I forget, entering was swift. I pulled up my tickets on my phone (saved them to Apple Pay after purchasing)-they scan them when you enter the main entrance and also when you enter the water park. There’s a mermaid splashing water on everyone once you enter the water park, watch out!Anyway, the large play area (that you climb on, slide down, etc.does not have an area that will shield you from the water fall. We all got soaked-my intention was to walk the kids on but nope! It happened! I got soaked, I tried to escaped and run, there was no escape! Water came poring down every minute or so. It was amazing!
Great theme park for young children. Best ages between 3-10. Older children may be a little bored. We spent a great day with my almost 4 year old 42 inch tall granddaughter who went on many rides and had a great time. Our 21 month old granddaughter was only 32 inches and there were only a few rides she could go on so it made it a little difficult. She needed to be 34 inches, but we understand safety. We brought in snacks and drinks for everyone from home. We ate lunch there at the burger place. Reasonably priced for a theme park. It was $12 for burger with fries. Entrance tickets are a bit pricey and parking is quite expensive. They did give us repeat free tickets to come back the 1st two months of 2022 which made it worth it. We went on a weekday in the beginning of December so there were no lines and the weather was really nice. Could not imagine standing in long lines in hot weather.
Fun 1-2 day park for lego fans and your kids up to 10 years old. It easily turns into a sub one day trip for older kids and people that are not huge fans of the brick. People are well dispersed and there a decent prices on food. Some of the staff could be more effectively spread out.
A very nice and well maintained park. We went in the low portion of the season and the lines were only 5 minutes or less. The weather was excellent and it was not crowded at all .The bathroom were very clean however, considering that the park is really for kids it did not have changing stations in every bathroom.
I visited this place today with my niece and nephew and family. It was an overall good experience! First the lifeguard saved my nephew from drowning in the wave pool. Please ensure your kid can swim if they venture towards the back of the wave pool or you as an adult or teen accompany a kid. Plenty of kids water activities to keep young kids entertained. I loved the seating of beach chairs for everyone as well. Overall, I would recommend you checking out this place on a hot weekday to minimize the crowds during an off peak month like early November or October.
My family absolutely loves Legoland. Its always a fun, friendly experience with the staff. The park had areas under construction and this could have been better advertised but didnt disrupt too much of our experience. The upcoming improvements look great. The City builds have always been a personal favorite. Theres always something new to see. This time in the NYC build I noticed the Robocop which I dont remember previously seeing! Lego is such a universal language for creativity and fun. I love the inclusion they promote. Thanks for another great experience!
My family and I absolutely adore this theme park. Not only is it a blast for the kids but for the grown-ups too!I love how they are not trying to gouge us with fees and allow us to bring a small cooler for food and drinks.Legoland hotel is one of the coolest hotels Ive ever stayed. Everything is very cleverly designed and made from Legos- of course! 😍
