Superb food, quiet relaxing place, big vine selection

The food is delicious and thoughtfully presented in the style of a gourmet restaurant, great wine selection and service is very friendly and likeable.The restaurant was our first dinner in Györ and I honestly dont think well be able to find another one that is as good during the rest of our stay.The prices are reasonable for the high quality you get and I personally liked that the portions are just the right size compared to other restaurants weve been at. Not too small, but no food waste either.Special recommendation for vegetarians!Some restaurants are described as "suited for vegetarians" because you can get fries or a green salad - yay, I know.La Mareda does have real options without fish and meat on their menu to chose from and they are really tasty. They even have vegan options, which is rare in thee area. And the desserts are to die for!

Weve been in GYOR for one month and have eaten out a lot in the city. This restaurant is by far the best yet. Excellent service, also the best yet, beautiful menu. We will return before we leave. Yum yum.👍🇮🇪

One of the best restaurants around. Gyor offers some nice restaurants, but Lamareda is top class in Hungary and proves that you can eat according to international standards outside the capital too. We ate very tasty and pretty dishes with good quality ingredients. They have a nice wine list with also Hungarian wines. The restaurant has a great terrace in front. Friendly and professional staff with good suggestions.

Professional service. Nice lunch menu. I just had homemade tagliatelle with delicious grilled salmon cubes. Must be one of the best meals Ive had in Hungary!

This restaurant is a wonderful place for a meal in Györ. A little pricey compared to typical Hungarian restaurants but well worth the price. The food is delicious and the presentation is pleasing to the eye. We had the foie gras which was very tasty and the also the artichoke soup. For main meals no disappointment there. Duck breast was great and so was the house made noodles with shrimp and mussels. Finished off with dessert called punch dessert and was the coup de gras. Stop in for a lovely meal in a cozy and beautiful atmosphere.

Stopped in for lunch and was amazed by the food. I had never had kholrabi in anything before so Im not sure why I ordered the soup but it was delicious. My lamb entree was cooked perfectly and so tender and tasty.

Very good food, but the desert, Belgian Chocolate was wonderful.

Top experience! Wonderful food that tasted way above expectations. Service was proffesional. Only bad thing was the presence of large number of mosquitos, but I guess they are hard to deal with, when you are nearby the river... Make sure you use some protection if you want to sit outside!

Me and my partner (Im Hungarian, he is Italianhave recently been to Győr, a wonderful city with peculiar, adorned architecture, extremely kind people and one of our most surprising food experiences: at Lamareda. The restaurant offers a menu of traditional Austro-Hungarian dishes, with an exquisite presentation on plate and some re-imagined elements, creating an unexpected taste twist. The service was kind, efficient and very attentive, and last but not least the place was also spotless clean. Id highly recommend everyone to have lunch or dine here after a nice walk in the city.

Classic & quiet European & Hungarian Restaurant in Gyor. Just a few steps to old town so it is convenience for friends, families without small kids & travelers . Try Goulash, Veal Stew & Duck Confit. Staffs are nice. They accept credit card & HUF. Restroom is clean too.

Wish I were in restaurants like this every week or even more often. With some help from a waiter I placed an order. They speak a good English so no worries to follow their recommendations. Soup was perfect. The size and the taste were exactly to my liking. The main dish was even better! I paid €32 for such a delicious food! Highly recommended.

Well, I guess that We found a new favorite restaurant in this town. Amazing taste of food and delicious drinks. Sauska’s Rose was our favorite drink so far. Absolutely recommended. Friendly staff, fast service. Try it and you will be not disappointed. Quality!!
