The cutest little cafe with an ocean view. Right across from the San Clemente Pier a perfect location. We had breakfast and it was delicious. Probably one of the best breakfasts Ive ever had. Ill definitely be back next time I visit California.

Easy to get an outdoor seat for one at 11am Thursday. Minimal street noise, occasionally unloading UPS and Amazon trucks blocked the view, otherwise a nice view of the pier and passersby. The service was prompt and polite. My pear and pomegranate salad ($13was very good. With soda, tax and tip $20.

This place is an excellent finishing spot for your beach trail walk to the pier. Everything about it is fabulous.. the location, the food, the service all top notch. Well be back‼️

SENSATIONAL CREPES ! Weve been coming here for lunch or breakfast for about 12 years....unfortunately not as often as we would like. And sometimes it hasnt happened because we couldnt nab a parking spot within 2 miles of this place. IT IS WHAT IT IS ! But seriously La Galette Creperie is our fav lunch / brekkie place in San Clemente..and always will be ! My wife and I were treating our 2 little grand daughters to lunch, ice creams and new outfits on Wednesday. After a fun lunch for the little girls at a restaurant on the San Clemente Pier we ambled over here for our lunch. While my wife took the little girls to a nearby ice cream shop I took care of ordering our lunch. A lovely server named Bruna ( with beautiful teeth took our order for 2 x double shot Lattes with 2% milk & Hazelnut Syrup, 1 x Chicken Crepe ( chicken breast, bacon, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, jack cheese & salsa..served with house potatoes or salad and 1 x Shrimp Crepe ( onion, avocado, bell pepper, zucchini, house salsa & jack cheese...served with house potatoes or salad ). I chose a side of House Potatoes for both of us. And then my wife returned from the ice cream shop with our little girls and their huge ice creams. It was around this time that I spotted Jeff the owner....we go back to DAY ONE. Jeff came out to our table and we had a wonderful catch up chat.....gee its been 12 months. Anna his lovely wife and co-manager was having the day off. Friendly server Loreen brought out our well made lattes and they tasted as good as ever ! It was so lovely sitting outside on the sidewalk patio with a nice view of the ocean...and a cool breeze blowing. Indoor dining has been canned for the present so its all outdoors. Our lunch order came out together.....when they make crepes here they dont make ordinary crepes....they make BIG FAT CREPES. Wow did our crepes and sides of house potatoes look great or what ! I was pretty hungry and was getting through my huge Shrimp Crepe pretty steadily...my grand daughter was egging me on to clean the plate. HA HA ! And I did. My wife managed to finish off about half of her huge Chicken Crepe. You really get large serves here...great quality food not tourist food. IT DOESNT GET ANY BETTER !

Its pretty good. My kids French toast were very good but my omlette was just meh. I tried to get something healthy by ordering an egg white omlette with veggies and sourdough toast and the thing was just swimming in oil. Not the low-calorie option I was hoping for. Chairs and tables are really uncomfortable and the food took a super long time. All in all it was cool and I would go back but its not the best breakfast place in town.

Im a savory breakfast type of person, but I decided to get the French toast and I have to say that it was one of the better French toasts that I have tasted. It was not to soft or mushy and held up nicely to the berries and cheese. But I have to say that the Bacon, Egg and cheese crepe that my daughter got was the best breakfast Ive had! And those potatoes were amazing! They has fennel seed, black pepper, paprika and other spices that made them spicy and crunchy. Together with the crepe, avocado, and potatoes made it out of this world delicious. My new favorite breakfast place. The staff was very nice, polite and attentive. Seriously go here when in town.

Came here early for brunch on Saturday- sat on the patio, gorgeous view, good coffee and breakfast crepes. The egg and cheese and salmon crepes were both pretty big so next time I think well get one sweet and one savory crepe to split

I had an omelette with bacon mushroom, spinach, and lobster, very good breakfast, friendly staff

Kind of rude service by two waitresses. The food was OK but for the price very expensive.

Best crepes! Love having breakfast here listening to the waves crashing on the sand and eating a sweet strawberry crepe. Lovely staff and customer service!

The views from this restaurant are as amazing as the food! We had the spinach mushroom crepe’ and it was absolute lite delicious! It was huge- enough for 2 people! The coffee and service are also excellent! All of the employees are very welcoming and friendly! Perfect place to spent a beautiful morning along the waters edge!

THE BEST crepes! Hands down! Also excellent service. This is my go to spot everytime I come to San Clemente.

Convenient if you’re already at the beach and they have decent prices for breakfast/lunch food. The lychee beachy drink (picturedwas average and the service was really slow. Otherwise would’ve been 5 stars

Holy hell! I wasnt even hungry and my wife suggested this place. I figured I would just find something small. The menu popped out at me and I couldnt decide what to get because it all sounded so good. I ended up with the Smoked Salmon Crepe. Thought it would be small and light. Light? Yes! Small? Nope! It was almazing though. I ate the whole thing and now I want more. The crepe was perfectly cooked, the capers and salmon were a great balance and then throw in the lemon creme fraiche... *Chefs kiss*! I cant wait to come back to San Clemente for more of these crepes!

This place was AMAZING!! Not too long of a wait for a Sunday late morning, maybe 25-30 mins. French toast stuffed with cheese was so heavenly. Gorgeous view of the water and pier from the outside tables. Affordable prices too. Will definitely return!!!

We ordered the crepes and they were the best we have ever eaten. The staff was super friendly and professional and very attentive. The location and view was great. I’d highly recommend this place if ever in San Clemente. 5 stars ..

I am from Chicago and visit my friends in San Diego once or twice a year and each time we go all the way for lunch at La Galette.We love the crapes, the coffees and the cocktails. The restaurant is cozy and very clean. Anna the owner super nice. Thank you Anna. Even though we went there three days ago ,we will go back tomorrow to celebrate our friend birthday..

This place had amazing crepes!!! The view was amazing even on a gloomy day!! The service was super friendly and helpful with picking something out on their menu. Dog friendly and had outside seating. Would highly recommend. I could see on a busier day it could become pretty busy.

Great food, great service, and great location.

Kendall was the best server! The mushroom & spinach crepe was delish. Will try with goat cheese next time (just because I dig goat cheese with mushrooms & spinach). A wee bit of greens with cherry tomatoes on the side would have added a little color and be a nice healthful addition. Oceanfront, great food & service...cant go wrong. Bathroom was clean (important ;). Drove over an hour to meet a friend there. Due to location, parking can be a bit of a challenge, but not as bad as most oceanfront locations. Will definitely consider returning when in the area.

Wow! We were blown away. We were in town for three days, and after going here our first day, we knew we would be back before our trip ended. It’s a quaint setting with about 10 outdoor tables. Service was great, efficient. Coffee was good too. The crepes were incredible. Just the perfect combination of ingredients. Filling but not too heavy. We loved it & I would highly recommend this place to anyone in San Clemente!

My husband was a crepe virgin until this place!. Best crepe Ive ever had!!!! And Ive eaten a lot of them!!! We both thought the best one was the mushroom and spinach crepe. We both hate 🍄 but they were sooo sooo good, delicious 🍄!!!!

You can’t go wrong with the banana Nutella crepe, and we really enjoyed the sausage apple potato crepe as well. The prices might seem a bit high for what you get, but it’s hardly surprising considering the location. Friendly service and pleasant experience!

Very nice outdoor seating, lovely to see the ocean while eating, unfortunately, the food was not the best.The Mushroom and Spinach crepe was ok, the bechamel lacked flavor and seasoning.The breakfast sandwich again lacked flavor/seasoning. Hot sauce was needed to make this one work.The My Style Mimosa was great! What a fun flavor combination and allowing people to pick a liquor they love was an added bonus and a brilliant idea!

Across from San Clemente Pier, view of the water and the train stop. Friendly and helpful staff. The food was good with some healthy choices. I had the Painkiller cocktail, and enjoyed it.

My family stopped here on a drive from San Diego to Los Angeles. IT. WAS. PERFECT. The service, the view, the food! We had the craprese salad, the pomegranate pear salad + shrimp, the lobster fettuccine, the mushroom spinach crepe, the berries and cream crepe, and the strawberry Nutella crepe. All were delicious!!!

Weve been coming to La Galette for 18 years now and its become our San Clemente go to for breakfast. Amazing crepes, French Toast, all day drinks and best of the beach is across the street. Its one of those places thats iconic to San Clemente beach life. #goodeats #amustgo

Went here on a Saturday afternoon with my family after walking the San Clemente State Beach trail. The service was outstanding. I did not get our servers name but she was so wonderful. You could see that she was smiling even with a mask on. Mark who also assisted us was lovely as well. I had complimented his mask provided by orange county and he so kindly gave me 2 took take with. We had the bacon wraps (their ranch was incredible and the sausage was so flavorful), LG tacos w/ battered shrimp (the batter was so light and gave a perfect crunch), Roasted chicken sandwich (perfect balance of toppings and well cooked chicken, and bruschetta (so flavorful and perfect amount of balsamic glaze). We also had the homecoming queen and bubble trouble cocktails. The drinks were so refreshing a great touch to our meal. Mark kindly gave us some of the Luxardo cherries to take home (must have the homecomingthey place one of the best cherries youll ever taste in the bottom of the glass. The outdoor seating is wonderful! BEAUTIFUL plating for all the dishes. Would absolutely recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

The staff is amazing! My husband and I are regulars. I swear by their La Gallete wrap which is worthy of the $14.50. They now have a happy hour where the drinks and some snacks are discounted. I highly recommend.

My husband had never had a crepe before and Im almost sad we ate here because no crepe he eats after this will ever compare. Sooo authentic tasting and delicious. We also ordered some of their other options as well, like bruschetta and ceviche which were incredibly fresh. Worth stopping by!

Food was really good, came quick. Hot and really good. But service could be better. A little too serious for my liking. Waitress was too serious. But not rude either! Coffee is strong though! Lol so be ready haha

What could one ask more from life than watching a splendid sunset, then strolling to the next street, sitting down, sipping a cup of cocktail, getting a warm crepe, and listening to the festal music from another shop! The lychee sage🍹 was born for summer. And I really liked the mushroom & spinach crepe - soft and smooth crepe stuffed with aromatic mushroom and onion and covered by the extraordinary béchamel sauce! Appreciate also the ultra friendly staff.

First time eating at La Galette and had the best experience! The creepes are tasty and delicious! Very tiny restaurant but the location is very nice, specially staying at the close by hotel. Good pricing as well!

Quaint place, great friendly service and yummy crepe dishes! The Chicken Apple Sausage Scramble Breakfast Crepe was so savory and delicious. Their bechamel sauce really complimented the dish so I highly recommend it! A great brunch spot to eat outdoors with a view of the pier and ocean. I live in SC and had never tried La Galette. I had the mushroom and spinach crepe which was delicious!!! My friend had the breakfast sandwich which she liked a lit but was a bit heavy for me. I took one star off as the tables are right on the sidewalk and not so comfortable. Our server was great and the latte was every bit as good as the place down the street. Id recommend this place for a casual meal by the beach.

Tiny sidewalk cafe on a palm lined street with a great ocean view. The crepes were great and the service was better. Definitely glad we found this place. They serve sandwiches, omlets, and coffee along with the signature crepe.

A must try when you are visiting beautiful San Clemente. We ordered both savoury and sweet and both were delicious. Savoury crepes are the hit or miss but the ones at this small restaurant were delicious. The only negative remark was the bacon was a bit burn and not as enjoyable but other than that we enjoyed the view and the service. Lucia was our waitress and she was delightful and very professional.

Nice place for a relaxing breakfast by the beach. It has a cozy environment inside and also offers outdoor seating across the street from the beach. The street is quiet and isn’t disruptive if you are dining outside. Crepe was delicious and the presentation was simple but very nice. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Great location and very friendly staff. The food was interesting and tasted very fresh. There are not a lot of seats, so get there in good time or plan for a short wait. Will go again and would recommend.

This place was amazing. I went to the "#1 breakfast of 2016" the day before and it wasnt bad, but it also wasnt as good. The presentation, the food, and the service was great. Ill be back again as itll be my go-too breakfast spot when in the area. Didnt even get a crepe. Pork n eggs and French toast. What a treat.

The crepes are delicious! They also have Almond & Cashew milk for their coffee! Right by the beach to enjoy the waves as well.
