LA CORNICHE RESTAURANT in Luxor

We stayed in the winter palace last week and visited La Corniche for our anniversary meal and I can only describe it as mediocre at best. Insipid, bland soups, grilled fish fillets were covered in some kind of crumb and greasy and soggy with no identifiable merit to determine the sort of fish it is, my husband described the seafood pasta as the worst pasta dish he had in his life, full of watery, frozen seafood. The deserts were pretty ok and the service was nice.The quality of the food does not warrant the price tag or reputation. Dont bother going there

Service très agréable mais la qualité des plats n’est pas au rendez-vous. Le saumon est trop cuit, aucune sauce sur les crevettes accompagnées des légumes sans saveurs. C’est un restaurant qui essaie les recettes françaises, mais on est très loin d’un restaurant de qualité française.

Très bon restaurant, on a super bien mangé et la vu très jolie.

Pleasant experience eating at the Winter Palace restaurant. Staff were attentive.The food came out fairly quickly. Had the penne with seafood which was very nice, but needed a little salt, but thats probably just my tastes. Plenty of bread rolls supplied with the meal (which werent included on the bill 💪)Ordered dessert after which was also very good but took a while to come out.From the previous reviews Ive read I was expecting a lot worse but I was pleasantly surprised.

The food here was good with reasonable prices. We ate both breakfast (buffet styleand dinner while staying at the hotel. The restaurant was very clean with courteous staff. Wine prices were a bit high, but food portions were reasonable with plenty of bread offered. I enjoyed the lamb good, as well as the veal. Seafood dishes were smaller portions.

المطعم فى فندق ونتر بالاس الاقصر الموسيقى الرقيقة والإضاءة الخافته ونظافة المكان الواضحة وترتيب المناضد والمقاعد بشكل يتيح الخصوصية اما الاكل البيكاتة تحفه وقدموا نوع من الحساء بقطع الفراخ والخضروات الطعم ممتاز والفراخ المشوية والمترتوديل /محمد على ومساعدوه عاشور واحمد ادراك تام لطبيعة عملهم منتهى الشياكة والتحضر.... زوروووووه

مطعم داخل فندق ونتربالاس الاقصر تجربة جيدة نتناول العشاء فيه موسيقى وإضاءة رقيقة وخافته الجو العام المكان رومانسى الاكل يقدم بشكل شيك الطعم تحفه والاصناف المقدمة ممتازة اداء فريق العمل استاذ/محمد فرج وعاشور وأحمد يستحقون كل التحية .... تجربة جميلة

Хороший ресторан, все чистенько, народу практически не было. Блюда которые мы заказали приготовили быстро и порции удивили. Приятная музыка и красивый вид из окна на Нил.

ممتاز والاكل ممتاز جد

屋外バーベキューレストランです。炭火焼きの羊とケバブが美味しかったです。アルコールが飲めるのも良かったです。

La corniche was a beautiful setting. Staff were very polite and friendly. Food was average and overpriced. Not up to standard for sofitel.

Unfortunately not worth the money. Service was curt and messy; tables were being turned for next morning breakfast although it was only 10.25-11.15PM. Food was lukewarm, which was a shame as the meat was very well prepared ( vegetables were cold), portions are very small and no side-dishes included, bread was so dry that my table became a carpet of bread-flakes ( not helped by ice-cold butter), and the prices on the wine-list are ridiculous: charging 500 pounds for a glass of wine that you can get a whole bottle of for 115 pounds down the street. Classy is good, but pretentious is not.

Service could have been faster, but food was excellent

مدينة الاقصرومن لم يزور مدينة الاقصر فهو لم يزور مصر , من اجمل المدن التاريخية التى تمتاز بوجود المعابد والمزارات التاريخية والكورنيش الذى يمتاز بكثرة السياحة الخارجية والداخلية وذلك من كثرة تواجد المراكب النيلية المجهزة لنقل السياح سواء اجانب او مصريين وايضا يعتبر كورنيش الاقصر يتوسط مدينة الاقصر مما يعطى نوعا من الامان للسائح لكثرة تواجد وسائل النقل سواء تاكسي او اتوبيس او حنطور والحنطور نوع من وسائل النقل القديمة منذ ايام الفراعنة وهو عبارة عن عربة خشب مجهزة بوسائل الراححة ويجرها حصان او حصانان وتعتبر من امتع النزهات على امتداد كورنيش الاقصر وحول المدينة هيه نزهة الحنطور وخصوصا وقت المغربية
