Great place and very nice service
The pizza was great, reasonable price. Totally recommended.
Good pizza but extra thin (sometimes it gets a little hard after it cools down). The risotto is good.
MoreGood atmosphere, big tasty pizzas and pastas. Fair pricing. One of the resturaunts we enjoyed the most in our visit to austria.
MoreWe sat outside, but the inside looked very nice. They also have a downstairs wine bar which despite the posted hours, was not open. I’m guessing this was due to staffing issues, which soon became apparent. It took some time to be acknowledged after we were seated. Our waiter was .very nice and took our order offering helpful advice. I spoke in German, but I noted he was also conversant in English. We decided to split a pizza and ordered extra toppings since I like it spicy. We were initially brought a pizza Hawaii that was meant for another table. Our drink order arrived and it was correct and the beer was nice and cold. When our pizza arrived it didn’t have the garlic and hot peppers I had ordered. I thought it was rather tasteless and my wife, who does not like spicy pizza, agreed. She thought the crust was good. As we ate, we could see waiters walking around trying to find the tables that food was to be delivered to. It was disorganized to say the least. But the wait staff maintained a professional attitude and performed well given the disadvantage of being understaffed. Our second drink order was incorrect but so ist das Leben. The lack of staff also made paying our bill an extended wait. I’d be willing to give them another chance in the future. The ambience was good, our sampling of the menu was very limited, but our pizza was quite average. The Ottakringer Helles beer was good and the staff was friendly. Staffing level and improved communications between kitchen and front of the house would go a long way to bringing up their rating.
MoreThe service is great. The people who wait on you are very young and enthusiastic.Speak good english as well. The pizza portions are big and so were the pasta portions.
MoreYummy 😋
We wanted to enjoy some wonderful Italian food, but the experience was a letdown. We placed an order for one appetiser and two pasta courses and waited for over an hour. The pasta was not even well cooked and hard when it was presented to us. We are not picky and difficult but if we wait an hour, than we expect quality. We sand it back to the kitchen and exchanged it for a pizza, and we waited another 30 minutes. Pizza was also a disappointment and we only ate half of it.We had the impression that the staff had lost control, and all they said was "Im sorry" and blamed the kitchen. They didnt even provide a discount or a complimentary dessert. We squandered our night and returned home hungry and disappointed. We saw many other customers leaving angry or complained for the long wait.
Moreif you have A LOT of time and A LOT of patience then you can eat a very decent pizza here.but you might have to wait around 45min for a drink tho and it can also happen that they bring you the wrong order and then it takes you ~1.5h until you get your food and get ignored for the whole evening when you want a refill.if i wanna wait 40min for someone to bring me the wrong order i go to my nieces birthday party.
MoreDelicious food, very kind waitress and beautiful atmosphere. ✌🏼🌞 loved it
MoreGreat atmosphere to enjoy your favourite Italian dish.
Good food, but if you order for a specific time you can still wait for the pizza being prepared just in time and spend at least 15-30 minutes waiting there. Every time.Edit: It improved quite a lot now
MoreNot a great experience. We were a group of seven and it took over half an hour for them to take our orders, even the drinks. The food was decent, but my pizza was missing one of the toppings stated on the menu, which was disappointing. We were most surprised by how rude the two waitresses who attended us were! They were very arsey with us for seemingly no reason, and when we asked for some boxes to take some of the food home, we were given used pizza boxes – grease stains and crumbs inside them! I think they must have just taken them out of the trash! Thought the waitress was going to bite our heads off when we asked for new ones, but luckily we made it out of the restaurant alive…TL;DR: Food not bad, but let down by rude and unprofessional service :(
MoreReally, really nice pizza in this place.Pasta and the rest leave quite a bit to be desired, but pizza is really nice. As is the IPA on tap.
MoreA nice place where to have a dinner with friends. The food is good even if being Italian I can not say that it is real Italian food. But if you know that you are in Austria it is fine and you can enjoy a nice place (in summer the garden is very niceand have a good dinner.
MoreIt was quit disappointed 😒We order two different pasta both came exactly the same and both not as was written. Any pasta with cheese will come actually with just a heavy cream, no grana or any other 🧀And the pizzas, which I think are their reputable dish, is made mostly with ingredients from frozen vegetables. The desserts were delicious, very, but maybe not made by them :))One star out of five to say the least!..
MoreThe worst place in Linz! Insensitive waiters wait 30 minutes for your order to be taken, and another 30 to be brought! The employer does not hire staff, so waiting times are long! An ugly place!
MoreOne of the best pizza restaurant in Linz, with a nice atmosphere and a good service! You need to try the spicy N’duja pizza, wich you can’t find in many places around the Europe.I really recommend this place.Thank you L’osteria ! 🤘🖤
MoreI waited about 15 minutes. The pizza is great, the price is good. Prices for pizza vary between 8.30 € - 12.50 €.
MoreAlthough Its my most favorite restaurant in Linz, recently I am quite disappointed in their delivered pizza which was cold and dry. (I am not sure whether it was on delivery company or so.)Besides that, I am happy to visit the restaurant anytime soon.
MoreHuge pizzas which are basically bigger than the (already hugeplates. Waiters are busy but always friendly. Can be quite busy during evening so better do a reservation.
MoreGood experience and friendly stuff. It was my first local experience in Linz, summer 2019. And, I ordered lasagna - as you see I covered it with salt! I was confused what to do and the waiter noticed that, So, he decently offered a new plate. Since then, it became a favorite restaurant and I invited my friends to try it.Thank you!PS: It was pretty weird to order a drink before lunch - as the waiter insisted! but I clarified I will take it after.
MorePizzas are delicious and the price is reasonable.I personally had the zoodles with shrimp and really like the idea. However they were quite watery and not really spiced with anything. Giving them a few minutes in a pan with some herbs and garlic might improve the recipe. All in all, the staff is friendly and really trying to accommodate everyones needs, despite being busy all the time. Until next time - I will stick to pizza though :)
MoreThis place was wonderful. The pizza was fantastic, the servers were very friendly, the staff handled the downpour like the professionals that they are! Our experience was so positive and probably one of the top two meals we had in the region over our ten day vacation!
MoreBest Pizza in Linz.Personal really friendly, especially the lady in the white shirt that she welcomed us so warm.We dont know how long we stay in Linz but as long we are here we will be visiting YOU <3333333
MoreThe food is okay, but our biggest problem is that they are very rude.My husband and I are vegan, so we just order our pizzas without cheese. When we have been to this restaurant, every time they are very rude about it, asking us if "that really tastes good to us" and they make comments about it when they deliver the food to our table.Tonight I ordered zoodles in place of pasta, something that they recently started offering, and the zucchini noodles werent cooked at all. Basically raw.Its totally okay for restaurants not to offer vegan options, thats their choice. But to be so rude when we adjust ours to be vegan (at no inconvenience to them at all), is really not okay.
MoreLarge Pizza and great ambience.
Good pizza! Great atmosphere!
Good location and reasonable (but not greatfood. What let’s the place down is slow and disorganized service. I ordered a Caprese Salad (was not with Mozzarella di Bufala as advertised in the menu but normal supermarket mozzarellaand a plate of pasta and they both arrived together after about 25 minutes and several reminders. So be patient, take your time for dinner (at least 2 hours).
MoreGreat food. Massive portions for good pricing, very nice servers. There was a bit of an issue with our reservation and we had to wait for our table for a little bit, but the food was worth the wait. The pizzas are huge!
MoreA little disappointed with the food they serve, to be honest, but Ill give it another try next time Im in Linz. I felt as if I had the specific taste of fast food, unfortunately, and not that of genuine Italian cuisine. Maybe Ill even give a HACCP tip/advice to your service/waiting staff on how to properly proceed when cleaning/spraying a table, when guests are already seated. On the other hand, I can consider it as OUR mistake probably, because we should have waited until the table was cleaned and then be seated. Loved the ambiance and the facilities but overall not impressed.
MoreFast Food at its worst - this is a chain that makes their industrialized processes look like home cooking. Inexplicably bad service even though there is a lot of staff, we waited 45 min for our salad - neighbor table more than an hour. Pizzas are OK but way too large for one person. Bruschetta was a joke. Seating is nice though, so if you only come for a glass of wine and have time, this is your place to go.
MoreRavioli was served cold, dry and not even al dente so I had to send it back. The second plate was great, I would give 4 stars, if I got that plate for the first time. 1 star minus is because of the dirty and really not hygienic baby chairs.
MoreMiddle priced. quality of cuisine horrible. nothing to do with Italy. Italian menú but cooked in the wrong way, the food just doesnt taste good. personnel is often overworked and seems to not have enough time for all the clients, we had to wait way too long to pay and to order. just not worth it for the money. Pizzeria amici is much better if anyone wants real Italian food at a great price and good service
MoreFirst of all, we waited over 20 minutes to get our order taken. God forbid, we asked for an English menu. My food came out 15 minutes after my friends. When I went to find out where my food was (because nobody told me anything), I asked in German, they said my pizza broke. Food was ok. There was a fly in the vinegar (no joke). The server ignored us the entire meal. We asked for boxes to take home - which never came. One of our party complained to the manager. She didn’t care and refused to listen because my friend spoke no German. What a joke of a restaurant. It gave me absolute pleasure to leave zero tip. Clearly, we are tourists, but for the love of god, treat everyone with respect. I can’t wait to get the hell out of Linz. Worst restaurant I’ve been to in my multiple trips overseas.
MoreGreat food as always, pizza sizes are very convincing, however extremely thin - perfect!
MoreI had a soup and a salat and both were very averages. The soup had dominant flavor of tomato paste and the salat was very basic and contain 90% lettuce. I expected more for the price. Service was good and kind
MoreThe food was pleasent. We had everything except Pizza. Also the wine is well selected.Service is slow, but the chef has been very polite.
Morekeep in mind - one Pizza is for family!Pretty good Pizza.- not wood oven
One of the best places for Italian food in Linz, always a pleasant stay. Nice selection of incredibly large and wonderful pizzas - hardly anyone seems to leave without a stylish doggy bag.
MoreGreat pizza but staff arent always so nice. Last time waited a few minutes to be seated but no one bothered to talk to us. So i asked a waitress who then told me to wait and someone would come.Waited another 5-10 minutes. During which the same waiter would pass by carrying pizzas to different tables and each time tell us he would be right with us only to go pick up more orders. We ended up leaving and im not sure well ever return
MoreAtmosphere is good, but aome dishesh were ruined. Cold lasagna, that was burned after we asked to warm it. Not all the waiters speak english. Pizza was served with the wrong topics. Feels like very not organized place. Too bad, it has potential to be awesome!
MoreMy Nizza salad did not only looked not very good,it also tasted as if they just mixed everything they had in the fridge. I also ordered home made lemonade, and I did not understand the taste at all: it was supposed to be with some berries, but it was just pink and sweet.
MorePizza chain located in the middle of Linz. Relatively loud place with a modern interior. Their pizzas are delicious and just maaaassive. They are absolutely huge and worth every penny. Other dishes are only semi good and a little overpriced. Restaurant usually tends to be packed, so expect a little waiting time.
MoreReally nice pizza place. They serve huge pizzas here, and they taste really good. The place is really clean, and feels very Italian and modern. The reason for not giving five stars, is because of the service. Noone ever asked us if everything was okay, despite us being by the kitchen. But for the pizzas, Id definitely recommend going here!
MoreAmazing food in awesome sizes but service could be better.
Overrated pizza. We ordered 2 pizzas that both came too large and dry with a loooot of dough and too less tomato sauce and spices. We did not imagine that the pizzas would come with that size. The service there was good but the restaurant was unbelievably crowded and loud. We took our half pizzas with us home and pimped them with some more ingredients to give them a taste.I doubt that Id give this place a second try.
MoreI ate at losteria every 2-3 weeks.I have been in Germany Switzerland and all Austria.always same problem to less staff. the staff is always running around .delaying taking the order, long time waiting to pay . I think on your level you can easily afford to pay more people. I love your restaurant but you really have to improve on this
MoreExcellent food but ...Sunday evening. Totally stressed out staff. We wait forever for our pizza. Our kid is already done with the kids pasta. On the other table guests complain that they wait since one hour already. The excuse they get is we have a full house tonight.Seriously? I mean a full house is no act of nature beyond control. No one magically put more tables than you can handle with the given staff and equipment into your place. Its Sunday evening, the weather is nice, who could have guessed that someone shows up?A guest has to fight to get the order taken, to get whats ordered, to get the bill. No one acts here, everyone reacts. The staff is still great and you see how they fight to get the job done. Unfortunately the atmosphere suffers still. You can paint your walls nicely and put nice candles on the tables - watching maxed out waiters does not put me into a good mood.If you take someone on a date - dont go there.Who is to blame here? The management. Hire more staff, make your place smaller or shut down.Interestingly in your replies you always promise to talk with the team because you expect them to be quick and friendly but actually someone tries to max out profit here. Its not the staffs fault, its your fault and please dont take the reviews out on them but better learn how to manage restaurants properly.Who has to bear the consequences? The guests but more importantly the staff. They have to deal with pissed customers and low tips.
MoreOne has to wait for ages to get something to drink/eat. I don´t know about the pizza at this place, but everything else we tried there was terrible. Just a whole lot of salt, no souce/dressing. The only thing right about this place is the price. If you don´t care about taste at all....
