Delicious Italian food

Such a gem! Next level food for the area and the owner/host entertained all our questions while making a mean martini. My sister and I love Octopus and would compare his version to the famous Babbo dish. Sitting at the bar and ordering a few items to share was the way to go!

Good food, prices are a bit high but Im still happy to have eaten here. Wife and I plowed through a day after a red-eye flight and just needed some comfort food. I was confused as to why we had the place to ourselves but it was nice

Delicious food, from entry to desserts. Beautiful ambience. Good service. And in Ild San Juan. Friday have live music. Lovely

We are staying in the Decanter Hotel next door to this restaurant. The front desk clerk recommended it. It is charming inside. Dimly lit and romantic.We had the burratta cheese appetizer... It was absolutely heavenly. So fresh and tasty. It came with greens and tomatoes. It was plenty share.For our entries we shares the gnocchi in a cream sauce with black truffles. OMG! So good! And a large portion. For our other entry with had the Fish of the Day... Which was a Hawaiian butter fish. It was a nice sized piece cooked perfectly! Very flavorful.Service was great. Food was great. We were happy! 😊

They have a fair collection of local rum and the service was wonderful. It is located near the oldest church in San Juan.

Super cute little Italian restuarant in Old San Juan! The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive, and their tiramisu was the best!

Went with a friend, would be a great spot for a romantic dinner. Split the buffalo mozzarella starter and order the lamb ragu, generous portions and fabulous food. Gorgeous interior, fab food, great people watching from the large windows and excellent service. You will not be disappointed, nice for a date night dinner

Encontré este lugar por curiosidad tras un Gustazo y al llegar nos sorprendió verlo vacío. De primeras nos asustamos pues pensamos que era baja calidad y no había clientes. Al hablar con el encargado que pareció de origen español se trataba que estaban en la hora de receso que de la percepción anterior ser cierta creo que es algo cultural.Cuando al fin llegó la hora fue una experiencia excelente. Servicio muy cálido y personal, buena música y quedamos encantados no solo con la comida, los postres fueron la gran sorpresa. Recomendado.

Classy, yet unpretentious, Losteria Decanter offers a great variety of truly Italian dishes with a clear emphasis on the quality and the freshness of the ingredients. The environment is welcoming, cozy and refined and the staff provides impeccable service. A++

Comida italiana de buena calidad. El lugar no tiene aire acondicionado pero tiene bastante ventilación. Precios altos pero adecuados para las porciones y calidad. Los tragos no son muy buenos pero los postres excelentes. El servicio no es muy rápido pero amable. El lugar no es muy grande, solo tiene unas 10 meses aprox. Los viernes tienen música en vivo muy buena.

Love the food, one of the best Italian meals I had in a long time. Totally recommend dinning here.

We wondered into this place and just got drinks but this place is amazing!!!! Beautiful atmosphere and great live music and good wine. Great service. This place is a gem and the photos don’t capture the beauty of the interior. Music was amazing too. Definitely a highlight of my time in PR.

Alejandro, the owner is very passionate about his restaurant and making sure his guests have great service. Wonderful service, nice wine selection, great daily specials, including a happy hour 5-7. The panzella salad and the burrata were fantastic. We truly enjoyed the wonderful pastas, and make certain, if you have a sweet tooth to save room for the tiramisu :)

Cozy place, nice music and excellent italian food

I know its the holidays....however, you are not an inexpensive restaurant and for that reason I gave 1 star. When I asked our waiter for suggestions he had to get the manager. When I asked him for more bread, he said he would see what he could do and it took more than 20min. When we ordered our food, I was told I would have asparagus, eggplant, zucchini...instead I got zucchini, carrots, cucumbers and spinach. My rack of lamb had barely any flavor. My daughter ordered the ravioli and again, the waiter said it would be tomato sauce, she received tomatoe pieces.I am all about giving a great review, however from the service to the food its thumbs down.Perhaps its bc of the holiday? I would hope so...since it seems others have given 4 and 5 stars.

If you have not eaten here in LOsteria in Old San Juan, you are missing a lot!! Food and service exquisite!! Vitto and all his staff are just amazing!! As an independent gastronomic critic, plates have the three essential and greatly achieved technique which are delicate and extremely complicated to elaborate all in one as taste, plate decore, and colors. They are simply magnificent!! Viva lItalia!!

This restaurant is located at the Decanter Hotel it is the sister property of LOsteria in Condado, the food is genuinely italian with fresh products and very well prepared, service is extremely friendly and courteous, the locale is small so it fills rapidly but there is a small bar where you can wait. I highly recommended it if you are in Old San Juan
