Top 10 best dessert I’ve ever had in my life eating at different Michelin star restaurants around the world. If you like yogurt and beetroot this is the absolute best in the world. If you are in Rio, and you don’t want a 7 course or 11 course tasting menu, at least come here and try the beetroot yogurt dessert. On the rooftop of the Sheraton Grand hotel, reservation required, amazing chef with friendly and attentive staffs. I love this Michelin star restaurant because it is totally unpretentious and very accommodating. Tasting menu is amazing and highly recommended. What I did was ordering a tasting menu for one person and then I added 4 additional entrees making it a 11 course meal shared by 2. I would recommend ordering seafood instead of meat. As you could get amazing meat in any of the high end churrascaria restaurants in Rio. Seafood and dessert here is phenomenal.

My wife and I visited here with high expectations and they exceeded it. The service was top notch and the food was amazing. I would recommend trying their 7-tasting menu to enjoy the creativity of the chef!We had a great view of Ipanema after sunset. The tables are well space and the food is paced very well. We particularly enjoyed the sea bass and Atlantic tripletail which they said was freshly caught and served. I believe it. Every course was fantastic.We returned for breakfast the next morning and loved it. The view was even better and the food is great.Recommendations for this restaurant - I tried to call twice for reservations but each time couldnt get someone who spoke English. Leverage the concierge service of the Sheraton. That was the only way I could confirm reservations. Or allow some booking online. It would have been great to speak to someone ahead of our trip, nevertheless 5 stars!Accessibility is perfect. Anyone in a wheelchair or needing accommodations this restaurant is excellent. Restrooms are in the hallway, should be no issues at all.Lastly, ask for Cosme. Amazing server and could not have done a better service. Respectful and attentive.

Aaaaaaaamazing! Out of this world. We had the seven course chef tasting option. Everything was delicious! The desserts might be the best desserts we’ve ever had in our whole lives!

We’ve had a great 7-course dinner at L’Etoile Restaurant during our holidays in Rio de Janeiro. Staff was very kind and made sure we felt at home and comfortable. With a seaside table at the 26th floor we enjoyed a great view. The dishes were great and unlike anything else we’ve tasted in the city. Highly recommended!

Superbly elegant ambience. Breathtaking views 26 stories above rolling waves and mountains. Impeccable service. From the moment we stepped in to celebrate our anniversary, we were treated with friendly service, personable staff, with attention to detail. The chef gifted us with appetizers and later on, multiple courses of deserts. Throughout the experience, our waiters remained attentive and friendly to us. Ambience was amazing- not too busy, beautiful French music with panoramic views. We will certainly be back if we are in the area again.

Sabores com texturas únicas e o atendimento é incrível. O Otávio que atendeu a mesa com excelência e domínio da comunicação. Sempre um restaurante acima das expectativas. O chef Felix é excepcional e o serviço de garçons é maravilhoso. Já fui mais de uma vez e sempre é uma experiência excelente.

Never got to experience the restaurant sadly. We booked a table weeks in advance of a holiday, only to be told via WhatsApp a few days before the booking that they have a special event and they cancelled our booking. Not sure what kind of business does that, but ok…

Simplesmente perfeito! Começo falando do serviço impecável!! Fui comemorar meu aniversário no Rio e marcamos de jantar no sofisticado LEtoile, que fica no 26° andar do Hotel Sheraton no Vidigal. Neste dia, 3 chefs assinaram o menu. Meu filho estava junto e fizeram questão de preparar algo especial para ele. Difícil dizer o que estava melhor. E a vista é um arraso. Vale a pena viver essa experiência!!

Restaurante muito elegante com linda vista. Atendimento excelente e um bom menu degustação. Pratos são muito bons não tão contemporâneos mas com ótima preparação. Se voltasse novamente eu talvez não pediria o menu degustação mas focaria nós melhores pratos. Acabou que não tivemos a chance de provar todos os pratos no menu incluindo os pratos que mais queríamos provar. Mesmo com a pandemia repito o serviço foi muito bom e o meitre foi extremamente gentil

Had a super great time dining here. The serving was big as usual, I think its normal in Brazil. We had an octopus dish and beef tartare for entrées and the serving was so hefty, its like main dish. So when our mains arrived (prime rib and duck breast), we were really full.P.s. the prime rib was gigantic and the duck serving of the duck breast was just, imagine, the right amount.

Maravilloso Restaurante, con vista a ipanema y las favelas. Todo un contraste de Brasil.La cocina a cargo del Chef Felix, sin duda merece todos los aplausos y reconocimientos que tiene. Una sorprendente mezcla de sabores, aromas y técnica. Desde el principio a fin, descubrimos sabores sutiles de un brasil tan rico mirado desde la visión de un chileno. Memorable el Plato de Palmito Asado con cáscara de Banana. Que fue parte de un menú degustación maridado a la perfección con una variedad de vinos brasileños y franceses perfectos.Congratulaciones a todo el staf de cocina y sala, por ran buen servicio, amable y dedicado.

Beautiful setting and great service and friendly staff. Speaking multiple languages, they made our special evening very memorable. Food was exceptional and considering it was a special occasion for us, was well worth the prices. As a fine dining experience, you cannot go wrong with this wonderful venue.

Atendimento excelente e ambiente agradável com vista para a praia do Leblon e Ipanema.O atum com abacate e crispy de sagu de entrada está muito bom.O prato principal foi cordeiro com nhoque de baroa. O sabor e o ponto do cordeiro estavam maravilhosos e só não gostei da apresentação do prato e o cordeiro estava com a gordura aparente.A sobremesa era um creme brule de pistache com gotas de chocolate e um sorvete que também estava ótimo.O preço é o padrão de restaurantes franceses.Valeu a experiência.

Very good food! Worth it even with the price being too high

Very enjoyable Christmas Eve dinner. The meal comprised of 7 courses. Desserts were a bit disappointing but otherwise the meal was quite good. The service was excellent and the view towards Leblon and Ipanema is unbeatable.

We had a lovely evening there, some fine french wines.

Restaurante fantástico! Café da manhã com ótima variedade e tudo muito saboroso! Possui uma bela vista, mas no dia que eu fui estava chovendo.

Provei pratos do menu degustação, alguns achei espetaculares como a ostra com creme de maracuja e a sobremesa vacherin de mascarpone, outros achei normal. Atendimento deixou a desejar pois na maioria das vezes eu mesma servi o espumante que estava na outra mesa (anexo para o balde de gelo).

Near magical. I was there for the troisoeme anniversary enjoying a 7 course tasting menu which included a paired wine. One of the best meals Ive ever had. Everything fit perfectly with each other, the fish was cooked PERFECTLY, the lamb was to die for. Id eat here tomorrow, with the same food again if it were possible.

Though highly rated I was somewhat skeptical of finding a good restaurant in a chain hotel. Service was attentive and friendly to a degree, ambiance was non-existent and the degustation menu was presented with a mechanical predictability that failed to impress. Some decent modestly priced wines. Overall the meal, while obviously replete with quality ingredients, failed in its execution leaving a less than memorable experience. It gave the impression of a set menu, fixed in stone, which sous chefs produced in a production line setting.
