Robust Piedmontese meat dishes, antipasti & pasta, plus regional wines, at an unassuming trattoria.
Very nice food with a nice selection of wine. Stuffed onion and zucchini flower were amazing!
Taste 10/10; service 10/10; atmosphere 10/10. This place squeezed my woman and me in, last minute, to a beautiful indoor table with a wonderful bottle of wine. We stuck to trying all the appetizers and the desert was Limoncello Tiramisu...deviously delicious! Its everything you want fine Italian food to be.
Great food and service- not big dishes but just enough and fresh. We recommend!
Great service, warm welcoming.Good quality italian cuisine. Great wine.Reservation needed.
This is one of the best restaurants in Torino. Its iconic. Angelo is a wondetful host. The food is rock solid Piemonte.
Delicious food, very simple menu but packed full of flavour and quality ingredients. The staff were very pleasant , even though they were run off their feet on a festival night! Its a beautiful location for an intimate dinner and we never felt rushed to leave which is always appreciated!
Portions were much too small for an expensive price compared to other restaurants in torino.. the meat had no spice, portion sizes felt quite random & the plastic table/chairs felt scary and cheap, even close to breaking
Good
Great local food. Super friendly staff. The stuffed onion is something unexpected and extraordinary.
Good Piemontese restaurant. Fast service and price a little high. I went there in the middle of the week
Great, hearty Piedmontese food. The cheese gnocchi was some of the best I’ve had! Also loved the tajarin, stuffed onion, thistle gratin, red wine beef and pork knuckle. Panna cotta was fantastic as well. All the food was fantastic, and the setting is quite cosy and rustic. We almost got turned away because our vaccination passes are not from the EU and not considered “green passes” but thankfully an Italian friend was with us to communicate that our passes were accepted in Italy.
Lovely stuff
good food, vegetarian options available but rather little
Excellent local dishes, family runner restaurant
Great food and service
Delicious Piedmontese food, located near a cute little church. The ambience was lovely, as was the service. Great quality food, big portions. Loved our dinner, would recommend.
Excellent Piedmontese Food and Wine. Great recommendations by the owner
Nice restaurant with cozy underground private dining room
Overrated.Service wasnt good at all. They lie a lot, telling me that there was no spot available outside on the patio (it was empty), coz there was many reservations. Many came and got these spots without any reservation after I had to sit inside. Not much AC as they mentioned.Wi-Fi wasnt working, an internet crash apparently. When putting the password on my phone, it says that this is the wrong password.Their poor excuses they made each time killed the trust in everything they say.To the owner: it is ok to tell the truth you know... This typical Italian macho behavior, like not knowing kills your masculinity is tiring and only bringing your people bad reputation.Telling the truth wont necessarily make people leave. The over promising and under deliver is what will kill your business reputation. Hope youll react before things go south too quickly. Now, the food, as we have to focus on that, was ok.Looks like most of what Ive seen coming out of their kitchen was made on site and using fresh ingredients.Dishes are simple, family style big portions. Not a fine dining as the state of the art definition.
Food is amazing and the owners are extremely nice and helpful!
I loved it. Wine and dinner were great!
LAcino appeared unexpectedly during our walk and its menu inspired us to enter. What a great surprise! warm welcome, excellent food and wine and my partner finally found a real zabaione for desert, freshly made just for him. Very nice atmosphere and excellent value for your money! Worth booking as there are only a few tables and it is very popular!
Amazing people working here.Don’t eat pork usually, big local pork chank is unbelievable!
Best pork shank in Turin
Worst service pf Turin.
I called the place to book a table but the lady didn’t speak English and she kept hanging up the phone. We finally went there but was told that the kitchen was closed although it was more than 1h before their closing time. One of the worst treatment I received in Turin.
Very overrated. Caters to tourists.
Pork shank is just amazing!
I simply cannot understand how this restaurant is not rated 5.0 on Google Maps.Everything was great, from the polite greeting (excusing for the lack of available tablesand promise of a table 1h later, to the stupendously tasting dishes served afterwards. We had the beef stew and the pork shank (both with oven roasted potatoesand they were both 5 stars. What a fabulous meal, especially at this price! Absolutely outstanding.
Authentic and sublime.Couldn’t take a picture of the carne cruda before eating half of it, it was too delicious.
there food give me hard one yass
Amazing cuisine quality and nice environment. The venue is a bit small but that makes a cozier experience.
A really great restaurant. The wine offer is tremendous and the dishes are traditional examples of piadmontese cusine. Perfect wine selection and excellent dishes in a very small and confortable restaurant. It deserves a visit!
Excellent food. Fresh and rich in taste. The tartar is highly recommended.
I came here in 2015 and found it superb. This year I flew across the sea to be back here again with my family and the food and service quality was still the same! The best restaurant in Torino!
Wonderful food and wine, great hosts, friendly and professional.
Good food and good service
Very good meal and wine!
While we were visiting real palace in Turin with my husband, we decided to grab something to eat. Checked for "best restaurant near me" and got to little restaurant. We were told that all the tables were reserved so I asked for high lounge table type and he agreed to let us stay.We ordered some extra dishes as previous reviews mentioned that portions were small. We ordered spaghetti with ragú and sausages and gnocchi with butter and cheese......oh my goodness!!!!! I have never tried or made gnocchi more delicious than these ones. They were melting in my mouth. We also ordered another pasta that was also delicious. We also ordered dessert, pana cotta so far the best pana cotta that I have ever tried in Italy or other Italian restaurants around the world
Ive been going to this restaurant for some time now. I keep coming back thanks to the people that run it and to the attention they put in what they prepare. The menu is very simple, but every dish must be tasted. Everything should go with a good bottle of wine which the guys can surely recommend. The menu is characteristic for the area it sits in, Piedmont.
Amazing food, great service. Was lucky to get a table without reservation but were very glad that we did!
Great place to meet fellow travelers. And they even have the menue to make it easier for all the tourists to order
Undoubtedly the best pizza you can have in your life! The ingredients are so fresh and the crust is so crunchy and soft. Do not miss this place if you are in Milan!
This place has been the highlight of our visit to Turin and Piedmont. The place specialises on traditional cuisine and it is masterfully executed. The owner of the place is really nice. We had a fantastic night with amazing food and credibly selected wine. Highly recommended.
Stars are irrelevant - just for info - till August 29 the place is closed :-( some kind of notification on the website would have been great...
Except for the pasta that are excellent, food is ok but not mind blowing. Ambience is ok although restaurant is full. Try the Agnolottini as a primi.
The food here is awesome. Some of the best and most interesting Italian dishes Ive ever tried. Veal tartar, peppers with sardines and the "tuna-like rabbit" was amazing. The prices were also very reasonable. Deduction of stars (4, not 5is only because of small things like some long waits for food, one of us got his food 10-15 minutes after and the was some confusion with some orders (probably due to our lack of Italian language). All in all a great place to eat!
Simply divine. Best meal Ive had in a very long time. The gnocchi dish is marvelous
Small, but good food and nice people!
The food here is really something that you shouldnt miss. Its well prepared and balanced but the service could be better.
