Nice temple with buddha statue on four sides. Its a calm place. Washroom can be maintained better.
Worship the 4 Buddhas
If you are in Bago and on the lookout for more pagodas to visit, Kyaik Pun Pagoda distinguishes itself from others in the city with a giant four-sided Buddha statue thats out in the open. It wont take you long to cover this relatively modest location.
Tours attraction site
Its in a village area. Four Buddha idols in sitting posture are placed on a high platform. There is ample of parking space. Entry fee is there. But theres no good hotel for food. Many handicrafts are available here.

So satisfied, love it
Wonderful historic four huge buddha images in four opposite directions. The Kyaik Pun Pagoda is a small Buddhist monastery near the town of Bago, known for its four towering images of the Buddha visible from far away. The impressive 27 meter high images are out in the open, without shelter from the elements by any covering temple structure. The Kyaik Pun Pagoda was built in 1476 by Dhammazedi, a devout Buddhist and King of the Mon Kingdom of Hanthawaddy (Pegu). The Kyaik Pun Pagoda or Kyaikpun Paya is an active place of worship; the images are highly revered by Laotian Buddhists who come to pay their respect.
One of the places in Bago that charges the foreigners entrance fee. We did not go inside because we didnt have much time. Bago might do better to reduce the fee to attract more visitors.
Acient pagoda known as four faces pagida.
Why and how this place is popular is beyond me. Its four sitting Buddhas with no other special quality or draw about them. The entire area is surrounded by trash ans currently (March 2018under some kind of renovation which adds even more junk. Dont bother going "inside" the pagoda complex because you can get the same pictures from the outside. After, walk South about 200 meters to another pagoda that offers something slightly more interesting to look at.
Its amazing.
Should visit in Bago. This is the differene type of Pagoda with composed of 4 Budda.Travel in Bago has cost about 10000 kyat for tge whole place in Bago.
You pay 10.000 Kyats because you have to pay entry for four pagodas in Bago - the ticket you buy is for all of them and not only for this one.
Larger than seen from the photo
Not so well maintained Pagoda with 4 buddhas. Since they charge foreigners 10000 MMK to roam around and visit places in Bago, they should maintain this place.
Ancients Buddha image
One of the famous sights in Bago, but its not really worth the trip. If you go with a tuktuk, tell the driver to wait for you, because there isnt normally other way back to town.
This pagoda has a buddha on each side of it four sides. Each represent the last lord buddha and previous three.
