Kutaisi Tourist Information Centre - Tourist Information Centre in K'ut'aisi, Georgia
Very helpful.
They speak very good English. We needed some information about table of international buses, woman called several place, explain us all information.
Excellent info here by a well spoken, patient lady. She arranged us a trustable taxi driver for a three stop tour (the canyons and the cave), which for us was highly preferred over an organised tour. Basically the same price too.
Opens later than the opening hours. Staff speaks good English and provides you a map of Kutaisi and the major attractions around the city.
Very helpful people working there! They managed to connect us with two drivers so we can do a tour to Okatse and Martvili Canyons.
The ladies here help us a lot, they find us a driver for the day and gave us some information. However, they failed to tell us that the dinosaur footprints in the nearby nature reserve was closed, to be honest I doubt they even knew.
The ladies working here tried too hard to help me locate a bag that went missing with laptops, phones, passports etc from a Maxim taxi. They didnt succeed but I can never forget their professionalism and compassion.
Very bad and useless tourist center. None recommendation was given to us, only gave us one free map. I can understand if you have a lot of work, but the center was completely empty. Wasnt friendly. Center not recomendable to obtain information about Kutaisi, only if you want a map of the city.
Useful information about sightseeing objects, places. can print airline tickets. Helpful staff.
The staff speak English very well and are very helpful, e.g., they may print a boarding pass for you or let you use the phone to call a local number. There is a wide selection of free leaflets. Visitors may also use free WiFi and a restroom on the premises.
Workers gave me good suggestions for places to visit around the city, which buses to take and from where. There are also some souvenirs available, and toilet.
Very friendly staff.Gmadloba !
Do not use the travel agent inside the Tourist Office. We paid for a Canyons trip. They give you a minibus driver not speaking any English, listening awful music very loud all the time, taking you to places where you have to pay to the friends of the driver further (much morelari-s to take you closer to the destinations by their 4x4 cars. Will only take you to the less nice places, but you cant ask for a change / complain, because they dont speak English. It was a bad service experience / bad price per value in a country deserves much better.
The speak English and know a lot about the minibus routes around this part of Georgia
Its very good
**BEWARE**Ladies at the tourist information desk were helpful, but the tour company in the same building should be kicked out.We asked to hire a driver that would take us to Vardzia, a non-trivial distance. The driver that was assigned to us was unprepared to say the least. He did not know the way, barely spoke a word in English (we were promised an English speaking driver), did not have the right vehicle for the journey and one of the seatbelts was broken. We agreed to all the cigarette breaks he wanted to take and even treated him to a coffeeWhen we noticed that a 3.5 hour journey is becoming a 5 hour journey, my wife asked him to stop wasting time. In return he was rude to her and told her to shut up.Obviously we felt unsafe, and carried on the rest of the journey in silence.Do yourself a favor and go to the Budget Tours office across the street.
Friendly staff, they can allow to you leave your bags
Providing a great service to tourists with questions!
lady was talking for 5 min on the cellphone completely ignoring me. not to mention she didn’t know anything:(
A lot of useful information
Ladies at the Centre were very helpful. I could leave my luggage for a while, get directions and use the phone when I wasnt able to make a call on mine. Thank you!
Very nice centre
Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent tourist information centre.
Super friendly people! If youve any questions or need recommendations for a tour in or around Kutaisi - this is the place to go.
The staff knows english well, they helped out with absolutely everything.
I was lucky to have been inside this tourist office. Giorgi, the person who helped me there is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his country and job. He is dedicated to help and provided a great service. Thanks so much for having enriched my stay in Georgia.
Great place to seek touristic information. They even had free Wi-Fi and a lot of books to Read while youre there. It was also comfortable inside with air conditioning and bean bags etc! It was also in a central location near the Redbridge, Whitebridge excetra! Pics are from directly opposite shopping strip 😊
Thank you for your kindness ans tips. Kind personnel elegat enterieur
Nice local information place. They have a little shop with souvenirs inside too, and also a tours agency, which makes one feel safer to book there for any tours.I took the tour to the cave and Cliffs, which costs 40 laris (approximately 13 euros). They have very clean bathrooms and a pretty view of the river at the back.
Staff over there speak English, russian and obviously Georgian .they provided each and every brochure , maps regarding tourist destination across kutaisi and near by kutaisi.
Friendly staff, willing to help us with all our questions and they told us fascinating stories about the area, people, history and food.
its good place to get quilified informations and servises in Georgia about trevelling and sightseengs
Very helpful & answered many of my questions, such as which buses to take to certain locations, best places for running trails & provided me with an extremely useful map!
Helpful but pretty basic. Central location. Needs doing more with.
Very helpful chap gave me lots of information and details of things to see and do in Kutaisi. Also asthma was very helpful organising for me a day tour...
The slogan in front of the Information Center is “The Smile City”, or something like this. But most of the people who work in there are not the best propaganda of it: they are serious and they look like they are a bit bored. I almost felt I was disturbing them. The English wasn’t that good... But at least they gave my wife and I the right information to get at the Prometheus Cave by van.
The counsultant barely spoke english. We needed info about daily trips from Kutaisi, but we were adviced to use taxi services.
Nice tourism center. They give you all info about things to do for whole country. Also, you can ask them about tours.
No proper advice about the hikes, didn’t warn us about the super muddy way up to the cross which is actually quite hard when its raining. We could have used the other route which we found out later, but no hint from her. Also she kicked us out of the info booth when talking to other tourists which hike to do best. Better make your research online, saves you her moody vibes.
The staff here were the friendliest people weve met in Georgia and thats saying something! They were very helpful with marshrutka timetables and prices and general advice for getting around Kutaisi and doing day trips. They also gave good advice on where we could find things in Kutaisi. There is also a small art exhibition currently (July 18which was a nice way to spend 15mins (and enjoy the AC). Note the closing time is actually 7pm, not 6pm!
Very kind and super tourist information.
Kutaisi Tourist Information Center is located at 9 a Rustaveli avenue.
Got few information from there but not really satisfied!!Need more updates and improvements
The staff of information center are warm and kind, but the tour agency is kind of CHEATING. We rent a car to Mestia from this agency at a very high price(they said it is snowing in the mountain so they will drive us at Zugdidi and transfer by Jeep), but they drop us at Zugdidi and force us to take the local minibus, and finally they find a local taxi to take us. but the taxi stop on the highway and ask the on way minibus to take us to Mestia. We are tourists here and language problem, heavy snow outside we scared on the high way, when the minibus arrived in Mestia, we paid addotional. Finally we arrived in Mestia in the midnight while heavey snowing outside. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
Nice, friendly and helpful people :)
Its Located in Rustavelli street.
Very friendly and helpful people 😊 Thanks to them I had internet during my whole journey in Georgia! Thanks a lot friends! 🇬🇪❤️🇵🇱
Very helpful information for Kutaisi visitors
The purpose of a tourist information centre is to provide information to Tourists! This would include train times because the flight was cancelled due to weather. The bald man sat behind the desk with glasses was more interested in "cutting & pasting" something on his computer then assisting us.
Very helpful regarding anything tourism and non-tourism related
