Must visit if in Kuopio in summer. Daytime business, for street food and fresh local veggies... try some local produce, kalakukko, lörtsy and strawberries ..m

The day I visited the Kuopio city, the weather was very clean and sunny, around 19-20 degrees.

The market is very small. For such a large space more should be invested in market trading businesses. It could be a big market many come from miles away to visit.

Nice renovated market to have a coffee and get some gourmet Finnish food. You can find the famous fish cooked in bread with various fish options. Its nice for the fish eaters its like dark bread with canned fish inside. Quite interesting. Also, you can find other Finnish snacks like cinnamon buns and various meat options.

Its a nice Restaurant at the side of the Market where you can get Coffee, Tea, Pie, Sandwiches but also lunch or dinner like this Wok where you can pick your own sauce, meat, and all your own veggies.

Right time = a lot of people and an active marketWrong time = wide street without cars

My favorit market place in Finland with typical Savo people . You can find: all kind of food, handycrafts, souvenirs, flowers, just now the best srawberries, bit later wild blueberries and many other berries.

The real marketplace in Finland... and thats mean: sometimes it is full of life but usually it is dead.

A lot of fresh food to buy. Fast service. Cash and card payment.

In the spring time there is not many kiosk outside. However there are multiple shops in Market Hall. When shopping outside there is kiosk selling Kalakukko what is traditional food from the Savonian region made from fish baked inside a loaf of bread. I recommend to try. Bred will survive even transport via plan in luggage as it is solid enough.

Tori is a wonderful place during the summer even though winter market also present
