Best boba shop Ive been too, including smaller businesses. In this case, a chain just does it better since the quality is more standardized. Ive never tried a drink I didnt like, at any location, and the boba has a better texture than any other shop Ive been too! Its cooked perfectly every time. The other toppings are amazing too, and my favorite aspect about the drinks is that you can change the sugar level--thats not an option most other places! As a self-proclaimed boba connoisseur (mostly a joke), KFT is my all-time favorite.

Kirby!!!Decent place, price not too high. Was out of special Kirby bubbles tho.

TLDR: horrible place with horrible attitudes from workers that have never done an order correctly.I have previously been to this KFT before and it was terrible service, but today I decided to give it another try thinking it was just a fluke. I was obviously wrong. My boyfriend and I went to order two mango green teas, one with bubbles and another with just the mango jelly that comes with the drink. When we finished our order (which i made sure was clear and correct as I order boba all the time and am used to itthe worker looked me straight in the face and said “so three drinks and (wrong size)?” I was not rude about it since I figured she just was having an off day or something. Next thing I know they made the drinks COMPLETELY wrong, they gave me bubbles when I didn’t want them and also gave us no ice at all. The mango green tea usually has a nice refreshing sweetness but it’s not overpowering. When I say there was so much syrup in it that I couldn’t even see my straw through the tea…SO sickeningly sweet, it was disgusting.Other than that, the first time I came here I ordered the wintermelon green tea with bubbles 100% sweetness and they gave me un-iced tea with NO sugar or bubbles. It was like drinking tea out of a store-bought tea packet. Not worth the money, absolutely horrible.

Favorite milk tea place in town! Highly recommended.

$16 dollars for 2 drinks. The first drink came about 2/3 of the way full. They forgot the topping in the second drink, and we didn’t realize until it was already drunken from. They took it back behind the counter and added the topping in, even though there is risk because they used the same equipment to fix the drink they were using to make other peoples drink, knowing that SOMEONE HAD ALREADY DRANK FROM THE CUP. They did not clean the area or sanitize any tools after they fixed the drink, and I felt too sick to drink it knowing someone else could drink my spit.

You never know when they will open or closed. Don’t believe google hours. I don’t want to go there any more. Our town have other bubble tea shop if you really want it

First time coming here! employees were super chill and nice. atmosphere was great, many choices of drinks as well! will definitely come back soon!

Online says they are open today. We are currently in the middle of a 6 hour road trip and went out of our way to go to this boba tea place to find out they aren’t open on Wednesdays.Super sucks to have our time wasted because they can’t have their online presence up to date.

It’s not yet indicated on Google, but their sign says that they’re closed on Tuesdays. Found out after coming here today (May 10th)

Recently the white grape slush was a limited time offering that rocked! Friendly staff, tasty drinks, a little pricey, but what a treat.

Editing my review from 3* to *They used to be good. But lately if you buy a large Oreo Wow, they skimp your boba and oreos and youre paying $6+ for a large cup of milk. Its terrible.

Drinks are always soo good, friendly staff and super fast! Love going with my kids as they aswell love the bubble tea 😄

It’s a great place but they are times when they aren’t open on time or don’t even open the store at all. They usually post if they are closed during JMU break because of staffing but most times they are just closed for no reason. So frustrating!

Literally never a miss. They have a great variety of options. The one annoying part is that theyre almost always out of something. Either its a tea, a juice, a flavor, or the most annoying is when theyre out of boba.

For my sons 11th birthday he wanted to try boba tea! We found this place on Google, so glad we did! We were able to get rolled ice cream and the tea he wanted, very delicious. Super nice people running the place and clean. They have a variety of goodies including all kinds of crepe, we will definitely go back!

This tea is addicting! I love the regular tea with bubbles. My kids even like the slushes and milk wow. There is something for everyone.

I really want to love this place because last summer it was amazing but the last 3 times I’ve gone in my boba was RAW and the 4th time they didn’t have any of the flavors I usually order. I understand shortages but undercooking boba consistently is gross.

I was hooked onto kung fu tea until today. I went to order a honey oolong tea and was excited to enjoy my drink. As I took my first sip I felt a hair tangled in with all the bubbles in my mouth. I’m traumatized. I called the store and it was brushed off. They need to increase their cleanliness. I can never return from this experience. 🤮🤮🤮

Literally my favorite. Ive tried one other kung Fu tea store, and had boba literally around the world. This store is my favorite. It may be a franchise but the people that work here are the best. (Mango Snow for life)

Probably the most disappointing Kung Fu Tea Ive ever gone to. They have such a limited menu (no WOW drinks, no yogurt drinks, no coffee tea, no new KFT drinksand half the time I come they are either out of the tea I like or they dont have boba.The times I was able to actually order what I want, the boba was hard or flavorless so they dont bother to make fresh batches of boba throughout the day like they should be doing.They also have really strange hours and have a habit of closing early.I love KFT so much, Ive been to about a half a dozen KFT locations or so and this is the worst one Ive ever been to. Such a shame this is the closest one by me now. :(

I went to get something special since my birthday wasnt too long ago, and they had closed up earlier than usual! On Google it said it was open, and there was no signage anywhere! Very upsetting!

I didnt want to write this but to be perfectly honest the service here is mediocre at best. The Blonde Asian girl doesnt greet you, smile or act appreciative at all for new customers coming in. Maybe take a note or two from services like Chik Fila where they appreciate customers. Kind of an entitled acting staff for a basic bubble tea place.

Food was great! I had the salmon bowl and bubble tea. I loved the food. It was my first time for bubble tea. It was pretty good.

This is ine of my favourite places to go! I dont get to go as often as I like, but when I do, its always satisfying to the fullest!The staff is always super friendly and the atmosphere is fun and upbeat!Its a great place for students and non students alike! They have in house games to olay while you wait for your tea [I have great devilish memories with the uno decks they have lol].My favourite tea is definitely taro with boba ♡They also have frozen drinks and seasonal drinks! Definitely worth a look.

I really look forward to returning here. I made the mistake in the past of forgetting the boba for my tea, but even without the boba I really enjoyed the drink. It was very quiet inside and great for reading.

They got rid of the coffee flavor and refuse to bring it back. They said people in Harrisonburg dont like coffee?

Unique drinks and atmosphere. Good place to hangout with a small group. A free to use Nintendo switch, many board games, and a guitar. Plan to spend an average of $5 per small drink. The flavors are usually a hit or miss, but the staff are usually happy to help you find a flavour you enjoy.

Informal atmosphere. Exotic teas for every crave of the tastebuds! The passion fruit green tea with bubbles was refreshing! Friendly staff!

1st bubble tea experience. Young man that helped us let me try the bubbles first and made a recommendation on what to start out with. Went with the winter melon with bubbles and it was good. Great service and tea was different but good. Thank you!

Its decent milk tea for the area. Their addition for the option for sweetness level drastically has changed the way the teas comes out tasting.

Boba bear Boba was good and the building was full of culture. But theyre taro milktea wasnt the best.

Came across this place by accident. Love the amount of options they have. Got a passion fruit green tea with classic tapioca bubbles. It was great!

Haven’t really liked anything but the coffee milk tea but they stopped serving them even though it’s still on the website. Super nice staff but no advertising that they discontinued the coffee milk.

The shakes are really good. Sometimes does not have Tapioca pearl.

Today was my first visit to Kung Fu Tea. My son (A JMU alumasked me to stop in while I was in town and get him a Bubble Tea. I had no idea what I was ordering. The young man behind the counter was patient and extremely helpful. I decided to try one myself! YUM!! I will be back!!

A great bubble tea place in Hburg! Make sure you ask for little sugar, otherwise drinks can be way too sweet. Most of their drinks are really sweet, otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Friendly staff, brightly lit and clean restaurant, and an exciting mix of tea options. I ordered the Red Bean Wow and it was very yummy! HIGHLY recommend!

This is the best tea place I know of. The staff is super nice. I go there everytime I can. They have a lot of unique tea flavors. This is a great place to chill with friends I would recommend this place to everyone.
