Great atmosphere, very nice food. Definitely a place I would bring guests to. Thanks for a very pleasant evening.

Requested medium well steak, it came rare and cold. Service slow, waiter hardly came by, they were run off their feet - management should have more people working. Others in my group had wrong orders brought to them. Overall a rip-off, did not enjoy.

Burger sauce is an extra and has its own price, the waitress didn’t even ask about itAfter i ordered the sauce the burger was coldThe salad had not a lot of sauce so the last salad pieces were a bit dry

We struggled to get service. I ordered sole and received a very small, very thin, hard and over baked piece of fish. The accompanying salad was a few lettuce leaves, cucumber and slice of red onion. Nothing else. Not even a piece of lemon for the fish. When I complained the waiter appeared irritated and continued to “ignore” us.The most disappointing dish that I have ever received! We left hungry to have some food at home.

Great place for dinner. The kabeljou is extremely good. Also the best apple pie I tasted in Namibia. Beef tartare and snitchels also very nice.

Service was slow. Waited 30 minutes before the waiter took our order. Also had to wait around 20 minutes for the plates to be removed from our table and to pay. I ordered an Eisbein and it was the worst Eisbein I have ever had. It was tasteless and dry. I told the waiter about the terrible food and he got angry at my complaint. I definitely wont recommend.

Warm service, cold beer, jolly waiter, good food. What more can I say? Prices are reasonable.

This was really a big disappointment. The starter, breaded camembert, was so overly ripe and extremely pungent in taste. We love ripe cheese but this one we a bit over, for our taste. It came with a super oily piece of bread. One main, the cordon blue, was partially uncooked. Parts of the pork meat were completely raw. We did not eat it obviously and just sent it back. The waiter and manager were extremely sorry and we didnt have to pay for it and were even offered free dessert. We really appreciate the way they handled it. Its still a huge no-go and quite gross so serve uncooked meat. The second main, schnitzel and spätzle and mushroom sauce, was also disappointing. The schnitzel was okay, but the spätzle were quite dry and we didnt like the sauce at all.We left super disappointed and the dishes that we had are far beyond average if compared to German originals.

Waiters not wearing masks. Service hurried as if the want clients in and out as fast as possible. Attempt to clear plates while clients still chewing food and not finished.

The food was good, pasta was delicious, but we weited almost 1 hour to get the soup even thou both weiters were working very hard.

Delicious oysters. I tried 3 types, baked with cheese, regular and chilly souse - all good. And a prawn salad. Nice place to spend a evening

Whether you are an extrovert or introvert. This is the ideal place to go. To meet new different people or to just sit by yourself and enjoy a glass of beer.. This is the place. The vibe is just right. Music is great and the bartender is 5stars

Very, very, poor service but food was great. We ordered drinks and starters, but waiteress never came back for main meal order, she brought drinks and starters, took meal cards, then we waited 20 minutes until she came back to the table to take main meal order (but meal cards were already gone and i was there with 10 foreign people)... then we had to wait 30 mins on a bill 🤦‍♂️again - very, very, poor customer experience.EDIT:Was back today and it was far far far better 5*

Great ambience, very good food, delicious wines and beers. It was a successful evening. If you like it quieter and cozy, plush, I can recommend the room on the second floor.

Greeted and welcomed by a friendly face. The menu offers a good variety to choose from. Our waitron was good with keeping us topped up with drinks. Good was freshly prepared and delicious. A must if you are visiting Swakopmund.

The food was amazing I had the game soup as a starter and the oryx steak as the mains they both were great but the oryx steak was one of the best I ever had! The waiter was nice it was busy but she got the job done. It was really packed when we went in there be sure to make a reservation I think its the best way to make sure you have a table

One of Swakops oldest Establishments.Every time I go to the coast I make sure I eat there. The food is great and the service is friendly. If you go alone, sit at the bar and and order there.Youre bound to get wound up in some interesting conversation

Very nice restaurant in the middle of Swakopmund. The place is very nicely decorated and furnished and it is composed of different areas: a pub-like bar, a restaurant and a cozy dining space (which is where we had dinner). The food is also very good and the kitchen is of good quality. The staff is very friendly and professional. Price is fair and well aligned to the overall quality. I also very much liked the decoration of the restaurant in sophisticated safari style. Very much recommended.

As a local resident, I have been here twice. It is a very busy tourist destination that serves excellent meat and seafood dishes. Advance booking is recommended. Prices are aimed at overseas tourists which explains why we would only go there for a special occasion. Such a pity they dont open for lunch.

Such delicious german food! And some of their more inventive and fusion things—game schnitzel, cordón blue—were so good as well. We came on a busy night and our waitress was doing an amazing job serving a lot of tables with serious hustle. Great place.

Best service by the host and waitress. We had no reservation but managed to get a table without any hustle, despite being busy. Food was perfect and on time. Great service!!

The place was packed. Still the service was fast. Apart from the Irish Coffee, the dishes were excellent: springbok steak, "bratkartoffelen", spinach and a very good Merlot: Leopard Leap. The starter: oysters ... very good, outstanding. Kuckis Pub is worthwhile trying. You wont be disapointed. An reservestion is recommended.

Awesome seafood place, great service and absolutely awesome atmosphere. Just make sure to book before hand, this place is always full. Try the Tuna steak, scrumptious.

Very friendly staff, seafood was avarage for a town at the shoreline but good. Most nights the restaurant is fully booked

RESERVE AHEAD. Came here yesterday and were told they were always all booked up. But the bar is open so we stayed and had a beer. Today we called at exactly 5pm (they are open 5-10pmand got a reservation for 6. Server was very polite but we noticed she was serving and bussing all 10 tables in the front room and was not very attentive to each individual table. Wasnt a problem though. The food was pretty good. The hake was really flakey👍 and tasty. Calimari was bready but great. overall a good restaurant. But we watched at least 15-20 groups being turned away and told they were fully booked. So BOOK AHEAD!! They appear to be fully booked every night but you could probably get a spot if you call around 5 the same day

Ordered the surf and turf platter. The steak and calamari were excellent. But what you refer to as a large prawn hardly passes for a medium prawns. Your waiter gave adequate service but did not know how to handle a complaint. Lets hope it was just an off day.

Kücki’s Pub is a rustic, cozy, and inviting location. The name can be deceiving, so I want to specify that it’s also a dine-in restaurant. All of the food we ordered was good, especially the oryx burger and calamari steak. We dined in a group of nine at a very reasonable price, which was obviously a pro of the experience. The service was thorough and the decor was quirky and fun. I highly recommend Kücki’s Pub for a nice hearty dinner or a casual drink.

Vibe. A must do when in Swakopmund. Eisbein and Hansa Draught a delightful pairing. It’s so strange how the pork, mustard and beer just work so well together.

Burger was ok, the garlic steak had too much fat for my taste. All together it was tasty and the service was excellent but nothing I would recommend for small children. There are no child seats available. The price for the food was moderate, there are cheaper places with equal or better food. The drinks were very cheap and good.

Neat and comfortable place that has a great selection of meals. Suitable for families, small groups, and individuals. Their fish is delicious and even some traditional German foods are available. A bit on the pricey side but the food is good thus far.
