Kubata City Hotel in Windhoek

The location is great and I loved our room with a king-sized bed, air-con, tv, mini fridge, and tea, and coffee station. The room was neat and the staff are fairly friendly. It is also affordable🙏🏾

Exceptional small budget friendly space, thy restaurant was top tier but thy shower water and provided towels are not it. Besides that its beautiful n affordable.

The food is excellent. Very cultural and tidy place. Ethno style. Portuguese is available on the menu as well as English. I am delighted with the fast and kind service. 🍷

All dishes are freshly prepared. Good value for money. Wide variety of dishes on offer. Good wine list. Nice atmosphere. Outside seating on loft veranda and street level.

Food was good, and it has a nice atmosphere. The wait time was unnecessarily long, perhaps because we were a large group. But over an hour for anyones food to arrive was still a bit too long

I loved it. After we had dinner we went up to the lounge. Very sophisticated and those updated kizomba songs were just te right mood setter. Great food and great atmosphere

The service I experienced and observed was a a joke. Waitress with a mouth full of food talking to customers, waitresses gossiping loudly wherever they congregate and being slightly rude to customers.The food was alright but the cheese sauce used for the crumbed mushrooms was of a low quality and made for a disappointing starter.The main course was alright and nothing to write home about.All in all my experience at kubata was a let down and I advice the owner to train his staff on how to deal with customers.

Good accomodation, nice breakfast but too expensive for local tourist since it cater for its majority audiences from Angola, Spain and portugal

Great food and great portions. Why did the staff look like they do not want to be there? Would also be good to know that you’re going to be charged for the lemons and the tapwater. Service could definitely be better.

One of the best meals in Windhoek especially for seafood. A fascinating Portuguese-Angolan place. Delicious but the dishes were all drowned in sauce as opposed to relying on quality fish. Great variety though. Diverse drink selection as well.

We utilize this property for business trips and are remembered each time we return and provided with attention and assistance at every turn. The staff is well trained, well dressed and friendly -- they truly represent the best of what Kubata Hotel is about. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a convenient location, reasonable rates, and phenomenal service.

Their fish dishes are one of the best in town.

The set up is rich in culture, food is good and it has a sea smell which is marvelous

Dont like the idea that electricity in the rooms is rationed and also the fact there is no direct access to the restaurant from the rooms, you have to into the street and then into the restaurant to have your breakfast, not cool.The restaurant and conference facilities are quite good though.
