Superb hospitality from resort good swimming pool and beach view
Stayed for 1 night there , good but not excellent as it is 3 star hotel
I stayed at the Pool Villa which was amazing !it is really huge, everything is huge. The bath room could be bigger than a standard hotel room. There is a living room, and outside is the private swimming pool. Very nicely decorated. The hotel is quite huge in area, but there seem to be some renovation going on at the regular rooms building.Seem like only one restaurant is operating and it is only serves breakfast, there doesnt seem to be any option for lunch or dinner.Location wise is quite nice, Ao Nang Beach is just right outside !
Was so excited when booking the stay because the pictures looked amazing. Was met with disappointment upon arrival. The place looked desolate, and that goes for the many many rooms they have as well. It looks like a place that used to be beautiful and luxurious, but has not been shown any care and love for a long while now.The rooms receive 1 star because, although very spacious, it came with alot of problems. Floor felt dusty/sandy the moment we stepped in, no hot water on our first day until we called someone in to fix it, water tasted and smelled weird (like metal), bath tub felt like it was going to collapse, bed sheets did not feel the cleanest. The service was so-so. I wish I could give the service a higher rating because the bellboys were very helpful and nice. But they seem quite understaffed because our requests usually took rather long to be met. We had to wait 45 minutes and call twice before someone came over to fix the water heater in our room.Location wise though, it’s great. We could walk to the beach from our room and the shops and restaurants in Ao Nang were all very close by. However, there are other resorts and stays with the same advantageous location that seemed more comfortable, clean, and new.
The only good thing about this place is that its on the beach.
They need to do more maintenance of the room. I stayed in the villa. The pool deck was dirty.
Private Villas are great, very spaceous, huge bathroom, lovely private swimming pool and very well maintained. However, the "luxury grand pool" room we stayed in for the first night was not in good condition and the surrounding garden and pool area need a lot of maintenance. Our son described the setting as post apocolyptic when we got to the mini golf and archery range, there were actually vines growing over the greens, they should not advertise these facilities as they are not usable. This place has huge potential but needs some money spent on it or it will lose any chance at becoming what it looks like it once was.Stay in the private pool villa, skip the rest.Oh and the breakfast was cold and we got swarmed by bees each morning, when we tried to take our meal down to the beautiful private beach to eat we were told the area was closed at breakfast time...
The biggest advantage of this resort is that it’s on the main street and opposite to this resort it has all the restaurants of all cuisines.Fan, USB cord was not working during our stay though Rooms were quite spacious and clean.
The villas are well kept, the hotel rooms and run down, however, I would say are worth the reduced rate.Good selection at breakfast. The tour staff was excellent, went above and beyond tailoring day trips to our needs.
Room experience was not that great but property is too good to visit and stay.
Great Resort, good landscapes. But not many vegetarian options for breakfast.
Staff are not friendly. Location and room amenities are good.
I chose your property after reviewing your website which portrays a completely different picture compared to reality. Ever since I checked in, my experience has always been the worst. There was no one to attend calls in the reception. My husband had an leg injury but the staff didn’t even considered providing us a vehicle to travel from our room to your lobby. He had to walk with his swollen leg to the lobby. Also I tried several times to call in the reception for someone to come an pick our luggage the receptionist said one is there to come and pick the luggage. When I managed to reach there carrying my own luggage and complained about this in the reception the receptionist replied that many people with broken legs have to walk through the hotel. The receptionist was very rude to me and my husband. I even confronted her that you cannot talk to your customers like that but she didn’t cared .In short, your service has completely ruined our vacation.
Resort is old, the bedsheets were no longer white in colour but was rather greyish in colour. Staff is cold and unwelcoming when we checked in. In room service menu is extremely limited. Wifi is unstable if you are looking to do some work. Not a place that I’d recommend or return to.
Three years ago Im sure the hotel was lovely. These days its in disrepair, the bars are closed most or all of the time. Basic cleaning up isnt done; empty cans of coke and half drank cocktails around the poolside for days. Breakfast is open air and absolutely plagued by wasps (an issue we had nowhere else in Thailand, including local outdoor eateries). Breakfast officially until 10am but if you went after 9am all the hot food was unplugged, lukewarm and fast becoming a food poisoning risk. Much safer to eat the piping hot street food on offer everywhere else!We stayed 6 nights; room was spacious and excellent Aircon. Rock hard beds made for a poor nights sleep, and ponds everywhere around the grounds so a breeding ground for mosquitoes. We had to ask for an engineer 4 times because consistently had no hot water - sometimes he had already gone home, eventually he would come the next day and fix it and we might get one hot shower before it broke again. The last two days we gave up asking and just had cold showers. Its just not acceptable for a supposed 4* hotel. Ive had far better accommodation in Thailand for half the cost (and the two other hotels I stayed at on this particular trip were better and cheaper).Staff were pleasant but very hard to stay positive when Im reporting "no hot water again" and they have memorised my room number and just giggle and say theyll send an engineer again.Location wise its good, right on Ao Nang beach but there are a lot of other hotels with easy access to the beach. And realistically, since the water was quite choppy and poor visibility, youll be getting a boat to go to a better location (phi phi islands etcfor anything like snorkelling.Drinks EXCEPTIONALLY overpriced. You expect an increase at a pool bar for example (if it was open...but 300THB for a cocktail when they are 99THB at all the local bars is a bit silly. Even water, which was 2 bottles for 10THB at the local 7-11 was 50THB for 1 bottle at the hotel.Perhaps it was a lovely hotel precovid... Now it felt like we were sneaking into an abandoned hotel in disrepair.
Clean and neat place to stay in walking distance to shops and beach
GOOD:Checking in was a breeze, staff warm and welcoming. There is a park if you bring you own car.The location and the overall surroundings inside the resort are amazing. Lush gardens and a long private beach front are a definitely a plus. Its right central Ao Nang, where you can go each side walking after leaving the resort and find Ao Nang lively hood. However, inside the resort has no noise whatsoever due to the exclusive geographic location. Top points.Staff is amazingly welcome and true Thai style. I live here so I know when the "fake" thai smile is given. I didnt had the chance to take my breakfast and I just booked a new night without breakfast and they offered me the breakfast from the night before.Breakfast quality and diversity is off the charts. Amazing choices, good quality ingredients. 10 out of 10.Room confort beddings and mattress, world resort grade.BAD:The infrastructure itself seems to need some attention. In general, it looked liked after this covid season, the management just reworked the rooms for the minimum conditions for them to function. Minimum conditions were met, however I dont think the value for the money is adjusted. At least for our room some maintenance is to be addressed. For a resort of this status, with such good staff and amazing location, details in rooms are super important. In general, all electronics of the room had some sort of problem. The internet in our room was ADSL, which is old compared to what Ao Nang has available in terms of fiber service. You have a dedicated router in the room, however I couldnt measure good speeds enough for multiple devices browsing. The land phone didnt work either, I had to disconnect it from the line since there was noise coming out from the phone speaker. The lights are controlled by a central console and some where failing or were badly connected, originating confusion in turning on or off. The AC also needs some review to adjust to high ceiling, it takes a while for all room to be at good bearable temperature.Room was cleaned generally speaking thought It looked like it had been cleaned for a while. This is Thailand so even a closed house in 1 week can get all sorts of dust and dirt inside. I dont think the room was reviewed before our checking in. A/C was shut off and the room was kind off with air still, damped like. Big windows like those are big tail tail signs.
Deluxe room looks old and not very clean, the way up to the room is dark.
It’s a good resort. But the staff should concentrate more on cleanliness
First of all, the room and view is BEAUTIFUL, but that’s the only good thing about it.This is the 4th hotel we’ve stayed at in Thailand, and it is also the most unwelcoming- shockingly so.In the three previous hotels we’ve stayed at in Thailand, we were greeted warmly and given an opportunity to ask questions about the area with warm and informative responses from the hotel staff. Not at the Krabi Resort- we were given a map and key to the room and sent on our way. We asked for information on renting a motorbike, and we were given an abrupt response of “talk to security” and sent on our way. There was a really nice man who took our luggage and drove us to our room in a go cart- that guy was nice. The room itself is beautiful, but HOT. It took several hours for the room to cool down once we had the air running. The bathroom is large and is beautiful, but it has no air conditioning, so even once the room was cooled down, the bathroom was too hot- miserably so.Once we got to our room, we called the number provided for tourist information at the hotel to find out about where to get a motorbike. The phone line at this hotel dedicated to tourists gave the abrupt response of “we do not call for you.” So we had to find info for renting a motorbike on our own. There are several other annoying things about the place, that wouldn’t be so bad if they were the only drawbacks to the resort. For example, once we got the motorbike, we were not allowed to park it next to our room and were required to park it near the lobby and walk from there to our room, which after a long day of adventuring makes quite a difference! Also, the hangers in the closet are attached to the rod, so you can’t move them around very well, and there’s signs about making sure to return the beach towels or else we’ll have to pay 900 baht to replace them, and it’s like, we get it, you don’t want us to steal your stuff. That is fine, just adds to the overall unwelcome feel this place has.
Superb stay we had ! Serene near the beach property super happy we that we selected this resort ! Stayed there for 3 nights in the pool villa superb service good staff and mainly the massage service my god all my body ache just miraculously disappeared!!! Thanks to Ming the masseuse there!! She’s excellent and magically makes your pain go away !
The place is nice bedding is s good toilet very sexy , like the ceiling fan but not sure everyone know how to operation it , balcony is poor floor duty cushion duty , TV channel is horrible , gym not operating due to low guest , hope they can improve on it , is a nice place
location is amazing close to main street and famous beaches.report if very well maintained and spacious just over the sea and having beautiful views all around. located in Central krabi. walkable market, shops and restaurants.
Nice hotel at the end of the beach so an easy walk into town and the nights entertainment and restaurants. We were upgraded to a Grand Luxury Suite which was very nice and had loads of space.. which we didnt really need. However, the plunge pool was fantastic and very welcome in the hot weather 🥵😁The rooms around the pool were nice and a good size and more than adequate 👍The hotel was very quiet, and there were areas that look like they need some attention, but given they are just opening up after 2 years without business, I think they will work to tidy things up to a good standard.Breakfast was OK but lacked some Western options and certainly wasnt a "great American breakfast" as advertised 😕Overall I would say its a good place to stay for the price 👍
Very Bed experience.... Reception staff behaviour is not good...room are also conjustednot clean also . food quality is soo bad... When we reached for breakfast saw there are lots off honeybee 🐝 on food sit n flying around how can we eat that 🤔 ... No one can clean it .. if we siad they just ignore... Very eresponsible working stylenot recommended... You will find other good opctios..👍🏻
Worst staff, sk rude. There are literally snakes at night at the reception. No staff between 11-7 pm. When you call on the emergency number guys hang up speaking in Thai. Most disrespectful indeed
Very well located right in the downtown centre. Close to all good places. Their private beach is really nice. The only thing we didnt like was food.
We stayed at this hotel for 15 nights from 11th March 22, we booked a grand luxury pool room, after changing rooms 3 times due to the state of the rooms we were given a grand bungalow, believe me this hotel is run down, unless you get an upgrade to at least a bungalow stay well clear.
We do not recommend this hotel to tourists! The price is a fortune compared to others and the service is lousy. Very bad experience.1dirty rooms when we arrived, used masks in the drawers2Wifi that never works3air conditioning that works 30 minutes a day (unbearable when its over 30 degrees outside)4Nonchalant staff when we discuss these issues.5Bad room when we arrived! Do not hesitate to return to the reception for the mentioned, the hotel tries to downgrade the tourists. This hotel is not worthy of a 4 star, we had a better stay in 1, 2 and 3 star hotels.Sorry to see such a level of service for the price the hotel costsTo flee
When we checked into into the resort we saw large plumes of smoke wafting around the roads and trees. We noticed a Pest Control van parked outside, so we assumed that they were spraying for bugs. A driver came to pick us up from the lobby and on our way to the room we drove through a huge cloud of smoke. Once we arrived to our villa, we were welcomed by bags of trash that had been opened with food waste and refuse scattered everywhere. The staff member that brought us to our room told us that there is a monkey that lives around the resort and it sometimes gets into the trash. It is understandable as the resort is right next to the jungle, but couldnt they have cleaned it up before we were brought to our room? Once we entered the room, we noticed even more issues. It was clear that though the resort might have been pristine 15-20 years ago, it had clearly been let to fall into disrepair. The tub in the bathroom had cracks in the linoleum and it sagged once you put weight on the stairs. There was also soap scum all along the walls of the tub. I did not trust entering the tub for fear of slipping and taking a bath was out of the question. I also inspected the electric kettle and found a suspicious amount of calcium build up. Even though I desperately needed a cup of coffee after an early flight, there was no way I was boiling water in it.To conclude, we booked Luxury Grand room for our honeymoon and found our quarters to be far from adequate. We immediately booked another resort for the duration of our stay in Krabi. We are giving them two stars since they were able to refund us with no charges.
A wonderful resort with western finishing and facilities, in one of the best locations in Krabi.Notwithstanding the low affluence of tourists due to the ongoing pandemic, the service has been super careful and attentive, the room very clean. We loved every moment, from the beginning to the end and we’ll be back next year!
aweful breakfast, the rooms are a little dated but they would of been top quality 10 years ago. plugs in the room didnt work had to charge things in the bathroom. noisy maintenance going on in the room next door but we asked and they moved us no problem.
The resort itself is very very nice and very family-oriented. unfortunately I suffered a terrible check-in which took over 1 hour and was disappointed to learn that my upgraded room did not include breakfast even though the room I paid for online included breakfast. When I asked to just have the regular room that included breakfast I was discouraged and told that the building is empty and it would be an inconvenience for me and my boys to be there alone in that building as well as that building being too far from everything. When I actually looked it was only a one minute walk. I left the resort feeling a little bittersweet that it has huge potential and must thrive in busy season however during this pandemic I felt that every opportunity was being used to either discourage or not maximize potential opportunity with patrons.I would be happy to assist the management in a better approach or at least give them some ideas on how to execute plans when individuals bring business to the property and are not looked after.
Good not great, expected more with this price tag.- There are many room types for your selection- Rooms are clean enough- Details of the room is not great, you can always find something broken or not functioning as it supposed to- Like walking in a nice park, love the hotel garden- The beach is not for swimming, it is not a private beach- The pools are nice and big- Breakfast is not great, this is 21st century, you need to keep up with the world, if it was 20 years ago, this is ok but now.... it is a boring breakfast and the table setting is so outdated.- Great service and warm welcomeTop 3:1. Hotel landscaping2. Pools3. Location
Aug 21-31. Courteous staff, great housekeeping staff. Beautiful property, great breakfast, beach, kayaks and paddle boards. Good fitness center. Good restaurant as well. Rooms are big and clean, comfy bed, and great AC. A nice big pool as well. Everything is positive here! I will be a return customer!
We had a four-night stay at Krabi resort. The first two nights, we had booked a lagoon view room, the next two days, we had booked their best room the beachfront villas. We reached there by the time it was already dark. We were received at the reception and then moved to our room. The lagoon view room was nice and spacious. The bathroom was good in size. There was a big balcony with a round seating available. The room had all the basic amenities. The linen in the room was a little old and was not bright white, which kind of takes some points for the hotel ranking. There was a lot of communication problem when calling the reception as the receptionist were not comfortable with the English language. When asked for water late at night, they informed us that we cannot get any water as their services close at 10. This was not informed anywhere earlier. The breakfast was nice, with a good amount of options. It is a nice choice for Indians as it served Indian food as well. After two days, we were moved to the next villa. The move was again problematic and took 4 hours when we were informed about 1 hour. The room was spectacular. The best one I had ever stayed in! The Beachfront villas are the best compared to any world-class hotels. The room had basic amenities, the size was huge. There is a plunge pool, a living area, a huge dressing area, a grand bedroom with a beautiful bed, and a balcony opening to the beach. The room was no doubt the best, also the hotel services were exemplary once we became their new room occupants. There is an option of in-room breakfast, wherein you can specify all that you want to the chef the night before and you are served with the grand breakfast at the requested time in the morning. There are evening complimentary evening fruits as well. You can go from room from the back door to the beach directly. The beach seating outside the room had a nice swing as well. You have to be careful regarding doors of the room as there are monitor lizards, monkeys, and squirrels roaming around which might enter your room unnoticed. We took a tour of the phi-phi island from the travel desk hotel which was also very nice. The hotel has 3 bars, two on pools and one on the beach. The bars serve finger food and have happy hours from 2 to 8 in at least one of them.Overall a great stay! They can improve on service and language a little.
The hotel was nice and comfy. Few mailfunction with our bathtub, but the engineer repaired it quickly. Breakfast was average, but it is more like lunch, because there is so much to eat.Beach is private and quiet, low and hightides makes it, not so clear water. Good beach.Staff is good and helpful all the time.
The outdoors is very nicely landscaped and the breakfast selection is very good. Everything else is horrible. The rooms look like they havent been renovated since the 80s. As soon as you enter there is a pronounced smell of mold. The bathrooms have no fans, the faucets are incredibly full of deposits and the shower leaks all over the floor. The main room is barely lit by a couple of lampshades, the thermostat on the rooms AC doesnt work so you are either freezing or sweating inside and there are exactly 2 free wall sockets, one in the bathroom and one in the room.Just outside the rooms there is a big pool of standing water that looks like the perfect mosquito nursery.
I believe the good reviews for this hotel is for the beachfront stay (which is listed as TB 10,000+ per night). The only reason why I know this is because we were here for a wedding and the wedding couple stayed at the honeymoon suite and it was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, exactly like what the photos depict. We as guests did not have much say in which location to stay, but thankfully our room was clean. The AC is broken that it is constantly on (which is a plus for the hot humid weather. If you get room 0308, don’t touch the AC fan. It affects the lights and short circuits. Other guests had to switch rooms because of the mouldy smell/holes on the ceiling. The elevator is probably the worst smelling part! :( The positive side is that the staff are very friendly, the food/drinks are good, and they do have a private beach area set up. If you are going to stay here, please book the SUPER NICE beach front. I hope the resorts takes the reviews as a way to improve the facilities around the hotel.
Disappointed!Rooms are very outdated and not worth what you pay.Paid for the luxury grand room but the beds are really thin and springy. The shower is awful and not like the pictures at all. The tub in the bathroom (a huge selling pointfeels like its going to crack any second and youll fall through. The air conditioning is good thankfully.Resort itself is huge but difficult to walk around at night as very poorly lit up.Will not be recommending or staying here again.
Excellent, large room with private pool, the only property with beach access at Ao Nang - and it’s beautiful. The hospitality was fine but nothing to write home about, and at the price we paid, that bit could use a slight improvement.
Beautiful location with a private beach and very close to the town of Ao Nang. The resort has 3 bars, 2 pools and a restaurant so there is a lot of places to unwind after exploring the town and further afield. The room was extremely spacious and comfortable. The staff were superb. Very friendly and helpful. The lobby was well run for getting luggage moved to the room and also for arranging tour guides and shuttle buses coming to pick up guests. See
Very good resort. Amazing hospitality. The best part is that they have very good food quality and considered vegetarian people. Every day they cook 2 to 3 dishes of Indian veg food and that will be sufficient till 2 to 3 o clock. Resort ambience is amazing and you will have beautiful sunrise and sunset from the beach. Rooms and premises are very clean. They have 2 swimming pools and inside bar too. Cocktail are very good.
Well the first thing that will come to your mind after entering to this property - Gigantic. Its very huge , welll maintained and scenic. Its the only resort with private beach access. The restaurant is also beach side. It has two good swimming pools with bars. Rooms are also well placed in the property. However the room I got wasnt properly maintained to the perfection. For example a power socket wasnt working. But overall the room size was good l, bathroom was extremely big and the balcony was good to relax. Youll find a lot of places to click photos as it runs along a big rock with trees sprawling all over the place. 😄
This is a beautiful resort with beachfront property. The breakfast is a huge delicious buffet. The grounds are large with 3 swimming pools. Lots of activities for children teenagers and every age. Blew all the other resorts away. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Professional. There is a free kids room and programs, a gym, kayaking, archery, mini-golf, and more. It is right on the road to restaurants and night life but far enough away to be quiet at night.
Beautiful resort with lovely large rooms & access to multiple pools as well as private beach access. The staff were very accommodating. It is a great place to bring children as they have activities for them everyday - and an air conditioned play room with crafts & toys. It was very central to the buzz of the town , but once you walked through the gates it felt like it’s own little paradise!
The only down side to this hotel are the deluxe rooms. The room I stayed in was old and dated and the bathroom was a throw back to the 80s. Definitely needs a refresh. The upside... Pleasant and polite staff at the resort. The included breakfast buffet was great. A good variety of food with 3 cook to order stations. The best feature of the resort is the private beach. Only resort guests have access to the beach. I gave it 3 stars because of the condition of the deluxe room that I stayed in. I will definitely stay at this resort the next time Im in Krabi but in the Grand rooms or the villas instead 👍
Lovely resort. Excellent place to get away from the crowds and enjoy a calm and peaceful holiday. They have a private beach of their own. The report has all facilities like swimming pool, games and golf carts to take you from place to place. The rooms are large and very comfortable. However they just provide you with two bottles of drinking water a day. They have an expansive complimentary breakfast spread sitting by the ocean. The hotel has a great location with lots of shops, bars and massage parlours right outside it. Recommended.
One of the best part during our Krabi tour was our resort. I loved it so much. The resort got a private beach with a country side view at one side main attractionand market on the other side. The property is quite big with different type of stay options like from deluxe rooms to pool villas. The breakfast buffet near the beach is not to be missed. The staff is very nice and helpful. As we had to leave the resort before breakfast time, they got our breakfast packed in a nice way.The rooms were clean and tidy with balconies overlooking the beautiful outdoors. We had a lovely time on the sacks after sunset.I could not ask for anything more. Very quite and peaceful. Will surely recommend to friends and family.
The resort staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a luxury grand room. It was very spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety. The views of the sunset from the beach are truly amazing; I recommend grabbing a drink from the beach bar and a seat at the beachfront to see the view. The only complaint I have is the main pool with the swim up bar - it wasnt very clean, and the chairs all around are quite old. We decided to try the other pool that is smaller, but definitely better for adults. It also has a bar (not a swim up, though), and is perfectly clean and much more enjoyable. The resort is situated in a great spot along the street. There are tons of restaurants, bars and shops all around within walking distance. A great central location to do excursions from.
