If you are an Harare Non Resident always make sure you visit this place for their spring rolls. The platter is good for when youre many however they have the large spring rolls and no. One world wide does them better than Kowleefoods. To those of us who like quality filling food this place is for you.In case you dont know what its call the personnel is always keen to help point you in the right direction. Like all other good things you need to be patient. The food is made while you wait to retain the maximum freshness. Ive found this attribute unique to Kowleeefoods and maybe contributes to why there is quality consistency and above all good tasting food all the time

Food is good considering its fast food.I call in my orders and collect. Staff are below average in my opinion as there is not much forward thinking and checking if orders are ready we have to ask most of the time. I think if they had a day of training in how to deal with customers that would make a big difference.

I have been to many Chinese take outs but I always come back to kowlee. Its value for money and consistent in terms of freshness and flavor. Its a no frills set up unlike other Chinese shops that have sprung up around the city, but what the store lacks in beauty, is more Than made up for with good tasting well priced food.

Service was great and orderly. Social distancing being observed, allowing only 3 customers at a time into the shop. The food is great tasting and fresh. Kowlee has maintained their standard by offering great food through the years.

Good place to grab and go. Portions are generous. One of those go to places when youre so hungry 🙈.

Very good food. Good quantity for price. Sometimes can take a while to get order, depending how busy they are but will not be disappointed with the food.

Mmm. Kowlees in Avondale is good. Kowlees in Greendale mmm needs improvement. Especially in the cooking department. Not as good as Avondale branch. But excellent parking and very quite. Pity about the obnoxious filling station nearby.

Grew up eating at this place. Best meals in town. Menus have changed over the years and not for the better. Wish they could bring back their old menu. Still food is great

Kow Lee is a good Chinese takeaway joint in Avondale. But to me the best thing is their large spring rolls. Now one of those is 27.50 RTGS but its a meal in and of itself. My personal favorite is the chicken vegetable one. Its in a mall that had a nice liquor store and another restaurant and across the street from Avondale shops.

Loved the spring roll.The noodles were alright,but the spring rolls are really huge ad filling.Getting my order took longer than l expected,but otherwise the service was good.Their portions are quite large too.Its just a walk in and grab store,l really did not see any sitting space inside.

A great place to grab a healthy meal with an Asian background. The place is a take away spot. Situated in Avondale which makes the place central to Western surbabs and the cinty center. Kowlee also sells healthy herbal teas for slimming or general health. I would highly recommend it.

Great Chinese food for on the go. You can also call in advance and place order then just come to pay and collect as they can get really busy so this is a great plus. I love the beef stir fry(no chilliwith noodles/rice and their spring rolls are delicious too. Food has great flavour

Absolutely love the large Spring rolls from this place. Reminds me of growing up. And everytime im in Harare its a must stop place. Only critique is they must make sure there is enough chicken in the springrolls. There wasnt the same proportion of chicken in our springrolls, some had enough meat, others had a little. Overall, I love this place andits my 1st choice for springrolls :)

Food is always tasty. They dont compromise on quality of food given the fact the place can get chock a block.

Good Chinese but they too busy, waited 45 minutes! You need to phone in your order first before you drive there.

Bought food for $12 and they took $72.50 instead. The lady who was the cashier never seemed to be sorry and seemed like it was done purposely as the guy who was meant to be a customer like us started freaking out and seemed to be helping on how best we can get out money back offering ecocash and stuff. I think that was fraud fortunately I realised it before we left as the food took too long to be ready for us to go.

One of the better Chinese takeaways in Harare has been operating for over 30 years mini spring rolls are good as well as special plates also sells various imported Chinese sauces and spices

I gave it 3 stars because you are not served quickly. The orders take a while to leave the kitchen otherwise it should be the best Chinese take out in Harare
