Kotu Island Lodge. in Banjul

It was the perfect introduction to Africa for me. The people are friendly and considerate, food was on point, the general atmosphere was one of a family environment. I totally loved my experience in Gambia as I still talk about it, and I could safely say It was by far, my best experience travelling. Thank you Terry, Mbye and the rest of the Kotu Island Lodge team. Flair.

This is more of a guest house than a hotel. Some rooms have their own bathrooms and some do not. Non of the rooms have cooking facilities and all rooms are just a single room which serves both as a bedroom and living room. Basic if thats what youre looking for.

Very nice and quiet and pleasant staffs. The food is good and can request your choice of veggie food and breakfast including fresh fruits.

Terry, his left hand man (hahaand all his staff were great. The bedroom and bathroom were spot on. The breakfast and evening meals were lovely. They accommodated for everyone. So friendly and helpful. I can’t praise the lodge and all the staff enough. It was peaceful and safe. Just one big happy family. 😊Oh.... I forgot about the 60’s and 70’s music played ~ that was ace too.See you all again soonOmar & Rosie

Kotu jest przepięknym miastem a zarazem Dzielnicą Serrekundy w Gambi. Jest położone przy samym wybrzeżu Oceanu Atlantyckiego i w tym rejonie są znakomite plaże. Polecam odwiedzić ten rejon, chcę dodać , że Gambia nie jest dużym krajem więc plaże nie są zbyt rozległe. Gambia ma wąski przesmyk dostępu do morza ale za to wybrzeże jest piękne i malownicze. Polecam Gambie , prawdziwy uśmiech świata"

Very nice place

Loved staying at this lodge, very clean, food Good and all staff first class nothing is too much trouble. Also very peaceful.. felt very safe and comfortable.
