Kottakunnu Park in Calicut

Beautiful place to spend an evening. Good place for families to spend time together, relax, talk. Has been developed a lot in the last 2-3 years. Lots of entertainments available like, cable rides, childrens park, amusement rides, an almost panoramic view of Malappuram town, food courts.

There is a high disturbing music and advertisement that I personally felt in kottakkunnu park at the evening time.

Good for kids, parkn gardens are Not well maintained, rides are old and not well maintained also expensive to compare to other amusement parks

Best place in malappuram..very suitable for families and couples and kids..very vast parking..so many rides..very rush in the weekends..must go place in malappuram..open till 9.30 night..pink police presence is there..carry enough money because there are separate groups of rides which has individual ticket counter..

Best place to spend evenings with family and friends. Different types of play areas available. Play areas are chargeable but not that much costly. Kids will enjoy there. Parking was wide and comfortable. Cleaning should be done frequently to make the park more clean though its clean comparing to other spots. Evening view will be one of the good thing there. Parking available at bottom of the hill,then you will have to walk to the top where park is situated.

Y can spend about 3-4 hours,,, family frendily, nice for children in the range 7-10,,Also some adventure activities like zip line,, cycling through rop etc,,

Zip Line and Cycling adds up to the adventure rides. A beautiful park with natural beauty. Overcrowded on weekends.

You will get a view of surrounding places from the top. You can reach the top by climbing steps numbering 250 or by driving to the top. Parking fee for car Rs 20 and entry fee per person Rs 10. Better to go in the evening or morning. Eating joints available.

One of the best place in Malappuram district to spend leisure hours. Should reach around 4PM for getting convenient parking place. Best experience when the python like steps are ascended. Those who cant go through steps can park your vehicle at the top. The table top view is marvellous with a lot of rides for children. Also a lot of adventure activities among which I enjoyed the sky cycling as the best. All rides are to be paid individually. Snack shops are also there. A light and sound show is available in specific days.Senior citizen may not be able to walk all through. Also differently abled persons has no other way to enjoy. Toilet facilities are also not enough. Still I love Kottakkunnu

A very good place for kids and couples in Malappuram district, with amazing hill view. New infrastructure introduced in park made it more useful for kids and adults. Having a good walking or jogging track inside the park, dedicated play zone for kids with race track. Inside the park people can also get some snacks, cool drinks, juice and ice cream. Lot of area for car parking. Security level is also high. 3 ways for enter and exit to the park. Cool Water facility is available at each point.

Nice place to have some fresh air with family and friends.. The paid kids raids are in dangerous condition nd need maintenance immediately as all raids are deteriorated due to rest and authorities must take care in this matter..

A perfect place for your morning walk, except that you will find people spitting on the walk way. I have seen people walking barefoot and imagine they stepping on the those spittle. Repulsive behaviour.The authorities should place a board putting a ban on spitting on the walkway and impose fine

In the soil of Malappuram where heroic histories lie.. Kottakunnu is another pride..Unlike in the past, they have prepared different types of games for children here..The Malabar Expo and other big events are held here under the auspices of the government..Another feature is that there are two types of access to this... One is direct access with our vehicle.. The other is the sidewalk... It is about 200 steps...

Nice place to visit... Entry ticket 10 rupees only per head... There are two entrance... While going through main entrance there are lots of steps.. there is Kerala Lalitha kala academy Art gallery inside this park...Lot of fun time for kids as well as adults...👍

Place to hangout with family and kids. Specially at evenings. But bit expensive to visit there, as each ride here & there and entries to park are paid. It starts from the parking fee itself. Pay, pay and pay is the main thing there to face. For a full or medium sized family visiting here will be like empty your wallet.

Wonderful hill top place in malappuram of kerala District. Having beautiful hill top view and nice pace to walk around.there is small park at the top for children. Sky cycling, road cycling, A horror house, a mirror house, and a special effects video ride room are the main attraction There. There are parks and adventure rides here . Various functions and events also take place here. The climate is also pretty good here. The food is a little bit expensive up there. Good car parking area also.
