Kostas Lounge in La Ronge

This restaurant is always my go-to after hiking the Nut Point Trail. A poutine is a must after a long hike, and these guys make a pretty decent poutine. I havent tried anything else on the menu though. The decor is also amusing and the whole place has excellent Northern Saskatchewan energy.

Never lose the chicken fingers recipe. Its timeless. The nostalgia and importance of them go back to the beginning.

Wings night is great! lots of good people to meet. Wings go about 6.50$. I usually get the hot wings or the buffalo ones just because I love spicy foods. The hot wings are literally wings with franks red hot sauce. The place has a bar and a restaurant side. Pizza here is great as well! I recommend this place

Had a great meal cold beer and a few laughs service was good food was good not over priced. Other patrons welcoming to out of town guest. Overall good experience I’d go back.

This is the first time I have been here and man o man can they cook, they care about what they plate. I ordered a pizza from them and this is the only 2nd time that I had a pizza that I absolutely enjoyed, it was done so well I order again the next day.So looking for good eats they are the place to go.

Chicken fingers with dill dip, dry ribs, fries and gravy. The cfs were as good as I remember! Its been 6 years since I last ate them...think I will order some on the way back home tomorrow. Yes, they are that great! I recommend these.I ordered pickup and the order was ready within 20 minutes, mind you it was a quiet Sunday afternoon.

The people and staff are great however the cleanliness isn’t great, presentable? Yes. Clean? depends on who worked. The organization for the phone lines is terrible whenever we call it’s always “busy” or rings until no one picks up.

Good bar food, good portions!

Used to be good, recently their portions have gotten smaller and smaller to the point where I just ordered a LARGE platter and got only 2 chicken fingers, and only a small handful of other food, definitely will not be ordering anymore from here, total rip off

I enjoyed my visit here to the fact that the people are nice and also the food was great along with being able to play slots witch is not done very often, so yes I love being able to treat myself once and awhile.

I ordered takeout from here. The waitress on the phone was rude. The chicken burger I got was depressing. The poutine did not come with a fork or napkin. And a steep bill to top it off. Terrible experience start to finish.

My wife and ibuse to go to Costas 30 years ago and they have not dissapointed yet! Amazing platter combo and the pizza was great!

I ordered a platter for pick up last night, and when I picked it up, the fries and the boneless ribs and the onion rings all had so much salt on them that they were thrown out. The fries/wedges literally had salt piles on them. I tried to eat one and threw the rest of them out. Waste of time driving into town and waste of money on food that isnt even edible with all the salt. I cant stress enough salt. I like lots of salt on everything, but I could feel the salt on my tongue while trying to eat that one fry.

Nice location and sweet looking patio (never actually been on it).Everyone says the chicken fingers are the best in La Ronge but they are actually just tiny pieces of tastless rubber with decent batter. Best c fingers in La Ronge are at the La Ronge hotel and also the staff there rock.Kostas pizza has too much cheese and not enough sauce when i asked for extra sauce they gave me extra cheese and it was even more disgusting. Call me crazy but best pizza in LA is the caese deep dish.3 stars because they serve food.

No so bad place to eat in La Ronge. Few choice of restaurants though. There is no seafood options. Don’t know too much about alcohol beverage selections as I don’t drink. Their pizza, burgers, and chicken wings is yummy.

Love this Bar , its the Bees Knees , the Bartenders are polite and helpful , they have pool tables where the smoking area is and they also have a built in restaurant too .

Reasonably priced and nice location. Chicken fingers were homemade, although some were a little tough in texture.

I enjoy the food, but its like every time I call there trying to make a delivery order all they do is hang up on me.. not very great customer service.

Had their pasta salad today 11/12 and it was awesome and a slice of their cake with strawberry type filling.excellnt guys good job

I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out charcoal. Just ate the side dishes because I waited long enough for the order. No apology or discount.

Up to visit the lake and take in some phenomenal food. Kostas delivered a great meal and a great view from the restaurant. Service was prompt and the food came out quickly and perfectly prepared. A definite must try again.Thank you Kostas.

The ribs are not fall off the bone instead theyre rip off the bone. Tasted fine but I wouldnt recommend the ribs.

Kostas is the fun place to go in town. The lounge and patio are great for drinks after work. You can try your luck on the slot machines or play a few rounds of pool. In that back is the restaurant which is great for a sit down meal or if you want a quite booth with a nice view.

Atmosphere was ok .. my steak wasnt cooked right..but my companions meals were fine

Had a nice meal of baked spaghetti at Kostas and enjoyed myself very much. Beer was cold and everything went well.i would eat here again if I am ever in Laronge again.A nice clean place and not overpriced. Staff was very friendly.

I have had Walleye fish on rice bed, mash potato and garlic toast on the side.It was absolutely great super, delicious and well cooked.mashed potato could be a more buttery or seasoned with pepper, but this doesnt mean I can give anything less than five star with their friendly staff.
