Contrary to prior comments, we were charged the prices as posted on the ground floor. If they offer additional things, simply decline, they will not bother you further. Very good Koshary at very reasonable prices.Umm Ali as dessert highly recommended.

Al pedir el menú (primera planta), te sirven platos NO solicitados y te cobran más de lo indicado. El koshary está bueno. Mejor comprar la comida para llevar en la planta baja y comer en el hotel.

I ate here last night and I woke up with food poisoning. Plus, they overcharged me 7 times more the price of the dish! What for locals costs 25 egiptian pounds, for foreigners is 150. Total rip off, and a health hazard. Avoid at all costs!

Do not recommend. Shady business practices. Arabic and English menu on the wall when you enter - only the Arabic menu has prices in Arabic.Staff bring you extra items without mentioning it is not part of your order. When asked if it is included, they only said ‘if you eat no problem, if you don’t eat no problem.’ Asked 2 more times, ‘is this extra money?’ Answer on the last time: ‘yes of course.’Once we finished, we went to pay downstairs and were told a price different from what was listed on the Arabic menu.Koshary was below average and the sneakiness and dishonesty made it worse. Avoid at all costs.

Avoid.The koshary is below par. The staff bring extra items to thr table you didnt order but will have to pay for. There is a menu on the wall with prices in arabic, but the staff tell you a different total at thr end.Overall, bad koshary, poor attitude to tourists and rude staff. Avoid.

Great Egyptian meal...

Waiters scam you by writing higher prices on the bill in arabic so tourists cant read and pocket the extra money plus ask for extra tips. They dont give you a physical copy of the menu so you dont know the exact price. The owner should train his staff not to steal peoples money. I ordered small koshary for two people which costs 10 egp each, acter we finished the waiter told that it was medium kosharu and charged us 25 egp each. He also gave us fried bread snacks at the start saying its complimentary, and then charged us for that snack. He eventually pocketed the extra cash and gave a separate bill for the owner at the counter.

Dont have words for the Koshary they serve. Feels like it just dropped from heaven. One wasnt enough for me! :D Located quite close to the railway station (less than 2-3 minutes walk). Do try this place if you feel like having one of the best Koshary of your lives.

OK koshary, had way better, and was overcharged from menu prices. Clearly stated prices on wall were not the prices they charged us with no explanation. Hawashi was greasy and cold. Keep moving

The box is super mini besides the koshary inside is not full , and they tried to cheat us the price, they said the menu is old and we have to pay a higher price, we order the koshary with liver , but its no liver inside, be careful if you want to come to this restaurant, theyll try their best to cheating on you!!! And the most important thing is the food is awful , its pretty wired teste

At first they tried to cheat us about the price, they said the menu is old and we have to pay more, we refused, so they give us a tiny small box which is half full, and no liver inside which we paid for, we asked why because we paid the higher prices for it, they started to pretend they don’t understand, finally they add one small spoon liver and let us left , they just try to hassle tourists every moment

This place is delicious! Authentic koshary dishes and excellent service located close to the Aswan train station. Why is this restaurant so hard to find on the internet?! It should be top of the list!

One of the best places to eat Koshary. You can eat very cheap and it is suitable for vegetarians.

コシャリなどの店です。店内で食べることも持ち帰ることもできます。店内で食べる方が持ち帰りより少し高いようです。店内で食べる場合の注文のしかたを説明します。1階の入口にメニューが貼り出してあるので、それを見てなにを注文するか決めます。2階に上がって席に座ると注文を取りに来ます。なお2階にはメニューはありませんでした。食べ終わったら、階段を降りるところに店員がいるのでそこで伝票を受け取ります。1階に降りて入口のところにいる店員に伝票を渡して支払をします。写真の料理は左が Pasta tagine with meat、右が Koshary medium です。

Great local place. Real and authentic Koshary with all the trimmings and a side of xtra spicy sauce...heaven on Earth! Prices are so cheap...you almost feel sorry and want to pay a little more. Staff courteous and really nice. Would come here offen if living in Aswan...

Very nice Koshari in Aswan, and great courteous staff! The staff here speak decent English, actually good enough to have a conversation. The portion size, the lime and the sauces were perfect here.

Great koshari and Hawashi

The food was good, as I stayed for several days and just wanted to eat for an acceptable price, without fighting about the price every time, I thought I might go there once a day. Unfortunately changed the cashier, at the third day, tried to rip me off, that was the last time I was seen there. The rest of the stuff was very nice!

Very cheap but the service is not good! We were the only ones without a drink, and after asking for one drink, we finished the plate before the drink arrive. The tourist is not a priority!
