Koshary, they have a seating area with all metal chairs and really cluttered. Good to get some cheap Koshary, which a local vegetarian speciallity kn Egypt.

This is not a 4 out of 5 place typically, but I thought it deserved it for value for money and other reasons. The price is unbelievably low, lots of locals ( we were the only tourists at the time ), friendly staff and close to our hotel. It is not a big place, perhaps 10 tables squeezed into a small area with lots of movement, loud comments to the cooks and staff and enough action to keep you entertained. The Koshari is ready in minutes, but they never make you feel that they want you out to make room for the customers. It is not for everyone, but is an experience that I will remember for a long time.
