Artsy brewpub featuring simple fare like burgers & organic meat plates & their brand of craft beers.
Korrigane - Brasserie Artisanale in Quebec
Description
Below average food quality and service. Average beers. "Largish" waiter was more interesting in chatting up single lady patrons seated at the bar and hustling tips. Avoid.
MoreA great range of beers brewed on site and some very good vegan food options too.
A fabulous micro-brewery with a nice selection of flavorful brews and menu. Our server was super helpful and knowledgeable. He also gave us wonderful tourist tips of places to see!Highly recommend a stop here!
MoreTried a flight of the pumpkin, stout, wheat and saison. Very solid. Ordered the classic and chimi poutine both were also quite good. We did like the classic more than the chimi. Service was what stood out, everyone was so friendly and strong in English and French!
MoreFlight of beer and beer infused gravy poutine were so good!! Great atmosphere, lovely restaurant. Amélie was our waitress and she was so sweet and welcoming! Would definitely recommend.
MoreThe beer was great. I had chimichurri poutine which was really nice!
Known for their craft beer, tried a flight. Rotating options with some unusual options like a sour with pimbinas. Didn’t like them all, but decent enough. Kimchi quail eggs were tasty, tried their popular chimichurri poutine, wasn’t that into the corn/Tex Mex vibe, but maybe should have stuck to the classic! Very nice waitstaff. From the front door (at least to where google guides youit looked empty, but everyone was seated in their back rooms and a lovely patio space outside.
MoreEnjoyed the time at Korrigane. The food was delicious but slightly overpriced. Our servers was great, the buser was extremely pushy and took our plates before we were even done.Beers were great!
MoreGreat service, great beers, playlist straight from 30-40 years ago, nice snacks, whats not to like?
MoreNice atmosphere and good service. Fish and chips and poutine and delicious!
Great beer, friendly staff, good spot thats more off the tourist beaten path. If youre looking for a good local brewery, I would definitely recommend this spot.
MoreGreat beers. Limited food menu
Annie provided exceptional service. She was patient, friendly and fun. They were out of some food items, leaving a restricted menu. But, the food that we did get was exceptional. And so was the beer. I was on the verge of paying my deepest condolences to the Chefs and Brewers in Quebec, for the demise of good cooking and beer making. This place gave me a pause. Highly recommended.
MoreGreat spot for a beer. Was recommended as one of the top three “Brasserie’s” in the city. It did not disappoint. Poutine was ok, probably wouldn’t order again, the beer was excellent.
MoreCame here for a late dinner on a weeknight. Most of the beers are brewed in-house and the ones we tried were pretty good. The food was delicious (ordered poutine, wings, fish & chips), and the staff is incredibly friendly and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend if youre in the area!
MoreWhat a terrific spot, right around the corner from the Imperial Bell. Great beer list, casual vibe and exquisite food.
MoreGreat beers across the board. The poutine with chimichurri was also very tasty.
Pretty sure the barman kept our money when he told us "his payment machine doesnt work" so we would pay cash. Plus he probably overcharged us. 10$ for a glass of beer? We never saw the receipt. Suspicious.
MoreI like the place. The atmosphere is cozy. The staff is nice and always available. I ordered non-alcohol mojito and it was very good.
MoreChimi poutine was excellent. Great selection of beers. Will return next time we are in Quebec.
MoreNice little micro brewery. Lots of choices. Friendly staff, highly recommended.
Burgers, beers and fries or poutine. All three are good. My only complaint is that like everywhere else weve had a burger in Quebec, the burgers are cooked and you cannot specify medium rare the way we like it. Of the three beers I had the stout was my favorite, the Cornik was also good and I didnt enjoy the Holda. In hindsight I should have gone with Amaruq which was my original 3rd choice but chose the Holda as it was what was opened for cask opening Wednesday.
More🤗🍻🍔 Can i say this place gave us many food *gasms Wow it has been a while i have not eaten a berger that was perfect in all its glory!!(P.S i did not even have to ask for ketchup or anything! It was so balanced and perfectly cooked, well seasoned, enough sauce and soooo much flavors going on the whole time in your mouth!!! Woot woot we are very excited to have discovered this little treasure! Both the chicken berger and the beef berger 5 stars! Also the chimichurry poutine was insanely delicious! And i have not even mentionned their amazing selection of pure crafted fresh super tasty beers! The flavors in each beer we tried was so distinct and refreshing! We are coming back again and again!! 😍Update: Came back and had the croquemitaine.D.c. It is a maple Bourbon red ale and wow it is amazingly balanced in flavors and satisfying. Watch out tho it is dangerous at 9% and extremely drinkable 😄
MoreGood food. Decent ambience and tasty brews
Stylish, nice place. Selection of beers is not large, if compared with some of the local competitors and Quebec overall but OH MY, THEIR IMPERIAL STOUT! This alone definitely worth a visit! The place overall has its own, unique charm and a bunch of well-thought details. We even bought a glass from them, to remember that AWESOME IMPERIAL STOUT ::)
MoreA good place to dinner and have beers with friends. The beers are good. the burger need a bit of flavor.
MoreExcellent service from the moment we walked in, our server was very friendly and welcoming. Seated us, and walked us through the beer options. We chose the flight and went with the angus burger which was really good. The burger was a little over cooked(charred-which I like flavour wise but not super keen on eating overly charred foodand lots of mayo(which I love but a personal preference). Upgraded to a poutine and it came with a slaw(really good). Fish and chips were cooked well, fresh and not overly battered. Waiter offered 2 salads (slaw and a green saladrather than fries as it was quite heavy with the poutine. We appreciate the awesome and attentive service, and the food was also very good for pub fare. Highly recommend!
MoreGreat food and great back patio. The portion sizes were decent. I really liked the vegetarian burger which burst with flavour. The service was slow even though we got there early in the afternoon and the place was not that busy.
MoreA beautiful place! There is a good variety of beer and it is all great! The barman knew a lot about his product and helped us with our beer choices for over 15 minutes! The terrace is nice and cozy and if you time your visit well and end up there on a Wednesday, they open a new cask of beer! We ended up with a cranberry IPA and is was a great experience! A must for beer lovers in Quebec!
MoreInteresting delicious beers and a fantastic vegetarian burger. Cool atmosphere and knowledgeable bartenders!
MoreStopped in for a poutine and beer. They were quite generous with the curds in the poutine. It wasnt a traditional beef gravy so the taste was different. It was actually pretty tasty and the fries were crispy. The beer was cold and they had a nice selection on tap. They had everything from Belgium whites to darker beers that offer unique notes like coffee and chocolate. The atmosphere was cozy and I imagine it is quite a vibrant place on a weekends. The prices were reasonable. I would return!
MoreNice cozy feeling pub. A good place to test your youre free and grab a craft beer and/or get a quick bite to eat. Good here is typical bar/pub style grub with burgers and chicken sandwiches, fish and chips and salads, of course small bite appetizers as well. They have full spirits along with 10 of their own craft beers.
MoreWe came to Quebec City on a last minute whim. Because we brought our toy Maltese, we were concerned about being limited in our dining options. We saw a cute microbrewery on the way in and when we asked our hotel valet if it was any good, he suggested this place, la Korrigane. The front desk was kind enough to call and confirm our dog would be ok. We arrived for lunch a little early and we were a little concerned that no one was there but it turned out that we came in from the rear entrance that opens to their parking lot (duhbut that was where their little outdoor seating was. We went inside and there was a small bar on one side and on the other side, someone attending to a large brewing canister - I guess they really do make beer there! Turns out after you go in, make a turn and go through a small hallway, you enter another bigger area with another bar and more seating. The place is quite a charming neighborhood watering hole. In one corner, they had a pair of sofas instead of tables and chairs. The waiter was super friendly and even gave us a little sample of their beers when we couldnt decide. We ended up getting a flight to sample their offerings and things we probably wouldnt have tried on our own. Oh, and surprisingly, they were cool with our little pup who was being carried in my wifes large tote - I appreciated how common sense they were about this in general in Quebec. Ok, now the food. We got olives for appetizer, poutine (of course), chili, and fish and chips (I know, not French). Everything was very good. If anything, the waiter kind of talked us out of their special poutine for their classic one - it was really well made but we arent exactly poutine newbies so I feel like I missed out just a bit. The chili came with bread that was crusty on the outside, and slightly toasted but cherry on the inside -perfect for dunking into the chili, which was tasty if not a little standard. Excellent service, good food, reasonably priced, and dog friendly.
MoreMy favorite spot for a pint in Quebec City. Fantastic beers, great service and great food. Highly recommend it.
MoreAfter a 1h30 wait with a 40% used capacity we received a burned burger with no taste and a poor presentation. Service is too slow
MoreThis was our second time here and, just like the last time a year ago, it was a pretty close to perfect experience. They offer a wide variety of their excellent house brews and tasty comfort food. We got lucky with our timing (a Saturday afternoon at 2pmand the place was empty - so we had very personalized service from the friendly bartender and our food was delivered very quickly. These guys are now on our "must visit" list whenever we hit the gorgeous city of Quebec.
MoreWonderful beer! Their ethical sourcing clearly comes through in their beer, plus some of the better pub grub we found in the city. Enjoyed their red ale, wheat beer, one of their fruity beers, and the whiskey-aged beer on their nice back patio. And accommodated our English.
MoreGood selection of beers, good and fast service with friendly staff. The waitress was very kind to fill our water bottles, which is a huge help for travelers. The desert variety isnt big, in fact, they only have one desert but I would definately recommend it. If theres anything I can complain about is the chalkboard where the beer prices are, depending on where youre sitting you cant really see it and it makes you wander for some time. Overall, good place, I would come back.
MoreEclectic little place, but fun. Very good beers from their brewery; classy appetizers (think spicy pickled quail eggs); friendly bar staff; live music, even on a weeknight. Good way to dine like a local.
MoreHighly recommend this place. The poutine was great. The lime chipotle grilled chicken wings are some of the best wings I have ever had. The flight of beers are also 6oz, FYI.
MoreGreat atmosphere. Great service and incredible craft beers. Highly recommended.
I had it on my list to visit this place during our 4-day trip and Im glad we did. Great beers at a great price - especially compared to everything we found in Old Town Quebec.
MoreVisiting from the states and needed a place to get snacks/dessert/local beer on our last night in town. We were so happy that we chose to hide out from the rain at Korrigane! The beer was fantastic. The food was mouth watering and our waitress was so kind and attentive. We ordered the blanch IPA, the nachos, and an ice cream sandwich dessert. SO GOOD and bonus, it is the cutest, most intimate brewery in Quebec. We loved it!
MoreFantastic beer, good food and really great friendly knowledgeable service!
Great beer and the food is several cuts above pub grub.
Fatastic place that definitely deserves more popularity. Very friendly staff that almost all speak both English and French. Fish and chips is a wonderful pick and so are the burgers and chicken wings, great overall quality. Wonderful beers. Expect ~25-40$ per person for a full meal + drink.
MoreAnother Yelp find by the roomie. She’s 3 for 3 so far. I tried a flight of 5 of their 6oz house made beers for $15. Enjoyed all except for their strong pale ale... but rubbing alcohol-y. Food tasted great - their wings are ENORMOUS and their burger was a tad dry but delicious. She had a Sangria that had beer in it - very light and she liked it. I’d go back to this place 100%. Oh and the bathrooms are super nice/modern. Servers speak almost perfect English- which is a great plus since we are outside of the touristy Old City.
MoreGreat place to have a drink. They make their own craft brews - nothing too spectacular in my books when it comes to craft brews but worth trying anyway. They have food here as well but didnt try any. But from what Ive seen it looks really good.Would come again.
MoreGreat patio, good selection of beers and food was better than your usual pub fare. Free foosball table inside and large indoor section that wraps around the building but most patrons were outside on a beautiful evening.
MoreLovely outside seating. Food was good. The quail eggs were really nice.Beer not my style but nicely presented. Outdoor seating was very pretty
