The best BBQ I’ve ever had! The burnt ends are off the charts! The ribs are incredibly flavorful and juicy! 100/10! Stand up staff and the owner couldn’t have been a cooler guy! Great to the military personnel! Amazing food and great service! Worth every penny!

Excellent, melt in your mouth brisket, freshly fried okra, delicious desserts. No frills interior means it’s all about the food!

My new favorite BBQ joint in Texas burnt ends are pork belly. YUM!oist brisket was moist but not fatty, and fries were crisp and fresh.Seating was clean. Not the nicest part of town, but food was delicious! I never felt unsafe at any point during any point of my visit.

Favorite place for brisket sandwiches!!! The sliced and moist brisket is the best. The Cajun Mac and cheese is so good! I need to explore more, but once I like something I stick to it. Dwayne is the best, he is family now. He shows me that he cares about me and my family, I think that is one thing I love about small businesses. I am very picky on my food, usually get disappointed with almost all the restaurant.

We stopped in from Houston Tx.Love love this BBQ.. and I like the way the owner asked, “ do you like your bbq dry, moist or in between?” Worth the stop and it’s easy to get to from the interstate!We will visit again when in area ❤️

We were looking for some good Texas BBQ and we hit the jackpot here! Weve traveled through North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee looking for good BBQ and nothing even came close to what we had here. The owner and his staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend Texas Underground BBQ!

Real deal Texas BBQ. THE best meat I have ever tasted. Don’t even get me started on the banana puddin. Went in once. Came back the next day. Dwayne and Willy are just beautiful humans to boot. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

This place is amazing! Not only is the food delicious but the service has been by far one of my best experiences.Food- both my husband and I had a brisket plate with two sides. Their brisket melts in your mouth and their BBQ sauce is on point! Their Cajun Mac is great!Service - the owner, Dwayne (hope I spelled it correctis one of the kindest person youll meet. My husband and I went out in an impromptu date and wanted to try this place together, we literally arrived 3 min before closing. I felt bad but my husband asked if we could still order. We were welcomed immediately, no hesitation. We were ready to order our food to go so that we didnt bother their clean up time. Without hesitation the owner said no worries it will take them an hour before theyre done cleaning and was more than happy to let us eat. We never felt rushed, we enjoyed our meal. Even when we were done he genuinely asked us about meal, of course we loved it and we continued to have a conversation. I felt like family the whole time, he even went above and beyond and gave us some leftovers and dessert. Their employees were very kind as well.If you havent visited this place yet, you definitely must! We will be coming back more for sure!

Hands down favorite spot now. Been twice, first time pulled pork sandwich with Cajun mac and cheese. Be sure to ask for his spicy BBQ. Second time, fried gator with French fries. Just placed an order to cater our 40 person holiday party.Update! Just had brisket with Cajun Mac, took my woman and shes a rib fanatic. Told me that I did good, cause she loved it!

DAM, This is good! We had burnt ends, ribs and brisket. O, my some doesnt like bananas, the owner said get the banana pudding, my son loved it! Creme and just good!!! This is a must do on your list.

Loved it! Brisket was melt in your mouth, burnt ends awesome, ribs full of flavor coupled with spicy sauce you cant go wrong. Banana pudding.... to die for flavor. Cant go wrong.

Portions were extremely small for the price, save yourself some money and go to Branding Iron way better in my opinion. One star because taste was good.

Good BBQ. Definitely has a locally owned feel. The owner will ask you how your food is and genuinely hopes you enjoy everything. Ribs are a little more “fall off the bone” than I like, I like more of a bite.

Brisket was pretty good, I think. This might have been the worst value in all the meals I have ever eaten! 2 half slices of brisket, a small cup of baked beans, 1 sauce cup ( actually for the tidbits I got was enough), no pickles. They should rename it "Texas Diet BBQ".They tell me it was a 1/4 pound. It was not even close. Even at that it would be $50 a pound - in downtown Wichita Falls!Never goin back!

This is some of the best bbq I have ever eaten. The moist brisket is perfect, sides yummy and the perfect funky atmosphere. This place reminds me of when bbq was local and low key. What a find.

This is the best bbq I’ve had in years!! The brisket, ribs and pulled pork was sooo good!! I had mac n cheese and baked beans as sides and they were delish as well and the free beer was a plus. I highly recommend this bbq joint. The owner and workers were nice and very attentive. Truly a gem in Wichita Falls!!

Loved this place. Great BBQ and super friendly service. Had amazing brisket and burnt ends. Cajun Mac was creamy and tasty. Try the banana pudding! It was delicious, light, and topped off a great meal!

De.Li.Cious. The food was great. I can’t wait to go back and try more. The staff was friendly and the owner was welcoming and fun. It’s always nice to meet real good people that you can BS with, can make damn good food and can appreciate beautiful and dangerous women. We’ll be back soon!

Had the Brisket, Mac, Baked Beans, and Pecan Pie. All were excellent and the owner is a nice guy as well!

Im terribly judgemental with potato salad but they do a decent job, Id definitely take a container to-go. The pulled pork came out cold and fell short on the flavor profile. The BBQ sauce they have on the table is very good, definitely worth a taste.I knew as soon as I left a review you would have something to say, as you do with most the reviews. No, we did not wait to eat. As soon as it was brought to us, it was cold. Newbie guide? Alright...there was nothing Cajun about your Cajun Mac n cheese, just alfredo. Maybe it would have come out warm if you didnt ration the portions out for what you charge. I drive an hour to eat here but Ill sure save on gas not coming back. Ill leave the rating at 3 so you can enjoy being a sub-par BBQ restaurant in Texas, must be tough. Adios, keyboard warrior.

Food is a little better than average, but not outstanding. Had pulled pork, coleslaw, potato salad. Its ordered cafeteria style (order at the register, get your own drinkbut food is brought to your table.

The food is absolutely amazing and the staff is incredible. Going here really felt like a going to a ma and pa restaurant. I suggest the brisket and alligator tail as it was absolutely perfect! Will be going back in the future!

Hands down THE BEST IN TEXAS. If you dont know about this place then youve been living under a rock. Nestled in downtown WF. GREAT STAFF, GREAT ATMOSPHERE. EVEN BETTER FOOD. Seriously you need to go and eat here.

Food is seasoned great and the ribs and brisket are perfect. Nothing needs BBQ sauce because the meat is so flavorful but we did try ithe sauce and its very good .staff is friendly and the place is unique the tables are really cool .we have ate at alot of BBQ s and this place is legit. Will stop here again for sure .

I eaten there several times and not once have I had a bad meal. Their barbecue sandwiches and their barbecue plates are absolutely amazing. I love their moist sliced brisket..

A must try place for anyone visiting Sheppard AFB. You want some good BBQ then definitely visit hear. I had fried Okra, tater tots, and the brisket plate. Needless to say ill be coming back.

Best BBQ around! Great portions and tastes fantastic. Nice meaty ribs. Their Brisket and Ribs are to die for. You definitely must try the Burnt Ends. Nice family business with great atmosphere. This is my new Go To place. I’ve been there twice in the last 3 weeks. I plan to visit at least every other week. Go get some. You won’t be disappointed ❤️

Really great ribs! Potato casserole was delicious, good brisket. Dont leave without trying the award winning banana pudding. Owner was delightful, knew everyone by name, but took the time to greet out of Towners like us as well. Everyone was very nice, restaurant was clean. I will be back, even if I have to go out of the way!

Small dining area. Everything was clean and staff were super nice. The sliced brisket was excellent. Potato casserole was not over spiced like many. Not sure the baked beans were homemade but they were tasty as well.

Tastes like home cooking! I had never heard of this place before and I was a bit suspicious because of the area it was in, but DWAYNE HOOKED US UP! A friend was visiting from out of state and let me tell you— she’s moving here now just for the food. We walked in and it smelled just like my great Uncle Joe’s BBQ. We came in an hour before closing and they were out of a couple sides, but they gave us an abundance of free things to make up for it. We each ordered the BBQ plate with 2 sides and ended up getting ribs, fries, and queso all free. Dwayne was very into the game on the television, but he was also very into customer service. Cannot wait to bring all my friends and family back! Thanks Dwayne and all other employees!

25/10 absolutely scrumptious! we came a little close to closing time so they had run out of a few of their sides but WORRY NOT, Dwayne made sure we had a taste of everything they had to offer, piled on the sides and even gave us some ribs! we left with enough food to survive an apocalypse. some of the best BBQ i’ve ever had and will definitely be back for more. Dickey’s has NOTHING on Texas Underground BBQ!

This place was wonderful. The staff was very accommodating. We got a pound of their brisket. We got some moist and some lean. I liked the fatty moist better. We also got the Cajun Mac and cheese (husband loved itand the patato casserole (it was good but needed cheese). Do not go before closing, they run out of BBQ. We got there about 2 hours before closing and had a great selection. We will be back.

Texas Underground BBQ in downtown Wichita Falls, TX is worth the drive! The barbecue is delicious with just the right amount of heat and fat. The owner is welcoming and greets all guests with a smile and some kind words. The loaded nachos were incredible! My wife had the BBQ bowl and she loved it. Our granddaughter had the mini corn dogs and ate them all. (They reminded me of state fair food…which is always goodThe girls all had some banana pudding. My daughter said, “I’d like to just live inside there, it’s so good.” Check out this great Texas owned business the next time your in North Texas, you’ll be happy you did!

Definitely worth trying out here in Wichita Falls. It’s inexpensive and it tastes amazing. Probably the best barbecue I’ve had in a long time!!! If you’re not sure what to get around this area you must stop and try this place. You will not regret it. They also have much more options on their menu. I got the brisket sandwich and potato casserole and it was delicious.

So many options, pork belly burned ends, moist brisket, lean... we enjoyed a variety! Slaw was fresh, the boys loved the ribs & they are quick and friendly. We will be back!

From North Carolina I know a thing or two about BBQ and as much as I love it sadly this place has beaten it! Bar far the best BBQ Ive ever had. Not only the meat was incredibly well seasoned and tender but the Cajun mac and cheese and green beans were super soft and well flavored. The mac and cheese noodles were so soft that it blended right in with the melted creamy cheese. These people made me loose my diet and weight goals but nonetheless very well worth it!

Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area! Very good bbq and excellent catfish dinner all for a reasonable price. Great service and very kind staff. If you live downtown, try this place for lunch or dinner and you won’t be disappointed.

Had to try this place out! The food was great and service was awesome! The place looked clean and freshly redone. Would have given 5 stars but not all staff wore face masks. Just something we ALL need to do. I look forward to going back and trying again. Loaded baked potato casserole was freaking GREAT!!!
