Very friendly and good food at a decent price.

Nice and authentic Singaporean cuisine!

I had the best chicken Laksa while in Hobart. We also ordered their chicken curry, Hainanese chicken, and nasi lemak with fried chicken (gosh, that was loads of chicken 😄 and they were all gone too soon from our plates). The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. The Nyonya was fantastic and friendly. We loved her! I definitely would recommend it to anyone in Hobart craving for some Malay food.

Authentic, simple and NO MSG. Loved the Singaporean cuisine fix and the Singaporean Tea.

Awful attitude! The SingaPOOR woman, may be the owner, is the same as typical UNEDUCATED SingaPOORian, I chose the seat in the back area the waitress immediately requested me to change the seat near the entrance which is noisy area, then I saw other single ones could have a seat in the back zone. Most importantly, the food doesn’t worth the price, no wonder a lot of bad reviews left.

I ordered Hainanese Chicken Rice. I think it is not worth $14.9. Just a small bowl of rice with a few slices of chicken and chill sauce. That’s all? I don’t recommend this dish. Obviously, it is overpriced.

Staff was kind and helpful, but food wasnt good. I am not picky customer complaining all, but this time I wasnt even able to eat food all but left more than half. Considering what staff said there its basically Singapokian food, well, I had Singapolian food before and it wasnt like this.Singaporean noodle we ordered was a bit dry and salty. And Laksa was watery coconut flavour, which I can define in proper way.Seafood Tom Yum noodle was interesting flavour in not a good way.Staff was kind as said, but its restaurant, top priority is taste.

Back when I was visiting there for a work, I had a chance to taste the Laksa with my Malaysian friend who said the Laksa was authentic and really good.

Been several times. Food delicious, authentic and very reasonably priced. Owner is passionate about what she does.

Authentic Singaporean food at its best. Sambal squid is to die for. Very spicy but packed with flavour. Friendly service. Will go again.

The food is average compared to Sydney Asian food. For $14.90 the serving of the food is extremely small. The freshness is just average. Maybe the standard cant be compared to Sydney.

Very nice Hainanese chicken rice. Though, it would be even better if there are more options of the sauce for the chicken.

Found this place as when walking around . The flavours are fantastic . Felt like I was back in Singapore. The food is very authentic .

Little bit expensive but id say that due to the cost of the location. Food is nice and when they give you spicey sauce it actually is super spicey. They kindly stick the supper hot sauce on rhe side so you can mix it in as like it.Smoothie was pretty nice too.

I went here for lunch and ordered chicken rice and bbq pork rice. The rice itself leaves something to be desired as it was cold and hard suggesting it was from leftovers. Non-existent sauces for the chicken rice (nothing specialwhich was disappointing. The store refuses to accept credit cards for no reasonable reason. The manager treats her employees negatively in terms of her way of talking and mannerisms. I did not enjoy my experience here.

Owners were definitely Singaporean in looks and accent, so you know youre getting an authentic experience.

Excellent. The Singapore chicken curry with roti is outstanding. This is a small restaurant with good service and outstanding food at a reasonable price. Ive eater here numerous times and it is consistently good. Always good. Highly recommended.

Good place to go for Singaporean style food. Price is reasonable and the serving size is a bit on the small side.

Their nasi lemak tastes like plain rice, the chicken wing looks more like a pigeon wing, the sambal given was barely enough. Nothing is worth the price they put; obviously trying to squeeze as many dollars as they can for serving minimally.

Love this place and their food in general. Their Chicken Rice is absolutely delicious and authentic. Most of their dishes get sold out by dinner time and its obvious why.10/10.

As a Singaporean international student, I can vouch this being the most authentic Singaporean cuisine here in Hobart, and the owner is Singaporean too. No fake Singaporean cuisine such as "Singapore Noodles" because that doesnt exist there. Highly recommended.

Amazing food! As close to authentic Singaporean flavour in all of Hobart. Lovely staff and service too. Their kuay teow is worth trying for sure!

Simple and convenient. Not the most opulent ingredients and little attention to presentation, kind of the basics, but that is often just what you need for a relatively healthy speedy lunch.

Im vegan and my partner is allergic to soy so we order food that we could eat. After my partner asked a price reduction for a fried rice made with frozen vegetables for $14.9 the chef came out of the kitchen and started to scream at us and then she took the plate away from my partner. She also told me to shut up and that it was our fault to order that plate. My food was all right and the waiter at the counter was really nice, but communication wasnt great at all

The food was really authentic and tasted exactly right. Spicier than it should be, but still extremely good. It was an accidental find but I was so glad we decided to go for it! The auntie was so friendly! She highly recommended her sambal squid but I couldn’t resist laksa and so she gave me a small portion of the sambal squid out of goodwill and both were eally yummy!! Will come back for more if I’m at the area!

I think the owners have done their best to deliver as authentic an experience as possible. The food is tasty and well presented and to their credit they have not watered down the spice in the food. The chilli for both the Nasi Lemak and Chicken Rice has quite a kick to it, so be warned! Highly recommended.

Excellent food at reasonable price. The chicken rice is missing the broth for some reason but the chilli and rice flavour make up for it. Chat kway teow is the perfect amount of spicy and full of meat/seafood rather than just noodles. Excellent find.

Authentic dishes with Singaporean twists, using fresh ingredients. Only negative is the place is a bit cramped and hot especially summer time.

Great Singaporean and Malaysian food! A must try for those missing Singapore or Malaysia cuisine.

The kind of place you need to have in your back pocket, in any city; a central location that serves up fast, nutritious and delicious dishes. At about $12-$15 a dish, its a price point thats (almostalways affordable. A quiet and peaceful little spot where the staff are delightful. The cracking roast pork and rice is quite addictive.

Third time back in two weeks. Tonight had the chicken curry....So good. Sorry no pictures because I got take away. Authentic and delicious.

This place does great food but has fallen into the trap of trying to squeeze too much money out of us ,for that service. I visited in September and had an excellent Tom Yum. I looked forward to going again and went on 15th January. The Tom Yum was the same price but now rested in a bowl half the size. My pork loin dish, at $13.00, was a tiny amount of pork on top of 50 cents of rice. Its great tasting food that does not satisfy your belly, in cheap arse surrounds, with staff that appear to be grumpy...hell...thats where an over appetite to make money gets you guys...

Great little authentic Singapore cafe. Dine in and take away. Food is prepared fresh to order, no bain marie here!Tasty and as spicy or as mild as you like it.

We ordered the Wantan Hor and Curry Laksa, the food was pretty authentic. The service was great and the ambience feels very homelike.

Pretty good, but NOT excellent.. And expensive -- 15 dollars for a medium-sized noodle dish... So the value for money is low.

Lots of dishes from Singapore and its neighbours are reasonably well known in Australia. The trouble is finding decent versions of them. This is one of the places you can rock up to and get a good honest hawker laksa, or a hit the spot Char Kway Tow. Im working my way through the menu, but have yet to be disappointed. Reasonably priced, and served quickly, I reckon this is one of those secret foodie places that will get more popular once word gets out.

The toughest critic for any Singapore food is a homesick Singaporean. This is by far the most authentic Singaporean food Ive had in a long time, better than some overrated stores back home!
