Koolak Cafe & Restaurant - Cafe in Nowshahr, Iran
Finally was able to check out Koolah and I’m so impressed. Got a decaf latte and it tastes amazing!! Quality espresso drinks were so needed in this neighborhood, thank you. Also, got a donut as well and it was so fresh and delicious. Cool Australian inspired design and great service, yay!
Dropped by based on good reviews for a quick coffee before our morning hike and the coffee wasn’t disappointing at all. ❤️Ordered a cappuccino and black coffee.. and loved them both. The owner, Brendan is also a cool and friendly guy.
Beautiful cafe with pastries, sandwiches, and beverages. Dine-in and restroom available. When I visited this cafe on a Sunday afternoon, there was only one person working. The place was very big, but there was enough seating for a crowd. The walls were adorned with a leaf pattern, lit up by small but memorable lighting fixtures. There was also a cabinet with some merch, including toy koalas, Vegemite, and shirts. The counter had a menu displayed, which I scanned before asking the employee what she recommended.I ordered her recommendations, which were the Karls Hoagie and Dirty Chai, iced. My total before tip was $18.47. Spending over $18 for a sandwich and a drink seems ridiculous, but the Dirty Chai had espresso and in my opinion, the Karls Hoagie was enough for two people. The drink was a nice pick-me-up and I was pretty full after eating the sandwich, which had fresh vegetables on top of about half of a large avocado between two toasted pieces of bread. This is a nice, clean cafe with interesting merchandise. Theres WiFi, homey plants, and a bathroom if youd like to stay a while to do some work.
Great space, vibe, & turkey sandwiches. They go above, beyond, & then some (thanks for the ice on such a warm day)...
Cosy and clean place with good coffee, fresh sandwiches and friendly staff. We chose this because it was open very early and we were very happy about our choice.
We love this place! The coffee is excellent and the pastries are too. The staff is super friendly and it is a charming space.
Great coffee! I wish they had some vegan pastries though.
10/10 will come back frequently and recommend to friends & family.Great music, too :)
Excellent latte served with a smile. Really nice!
Super cute coffee place. The owner was genuine and super nice! Even offered my pup a free treat ♥️ 🐕Oat milk latte was on point, as was the vegemite toast (although, this might be an acquired taste!).Highly recommend, just down the road from lands end trail too.
Low rating based purely on the sandwich. The photos for this place show a really nice vegetarian sandwich but it’s a lie! It has the tiniest smear of avocado you can’t even taste it. Might as well go buy some bread from the grocery store.
As Australian visitors to San Francisco, we stumbled across Koolah after taking a ride on the trolley bus route 1 (which is a wonderful journey from downtown). The cafe is family owned and has Australian connections. Spotless. The owners deserve to succeed in bringing something different to the area. We have similar coffee shops on almost every corner in Melbourne, Australia. Highly recommended. Visitors to SFO could do a lot worse than a ride on the #1 and coffee and a snack at Koolah. The 38 and 38R buses on Geary also pass by but the is a better ride! BYW we stopped off on the way on the #1 and visited Inspiration Point for a breathtaking view of the bay and Alcatraz.
Great vibe, great service.
Super friendly; great chai latte today!
Hidden gem. Amazing oat milk latte. Caring staff.
Discovered this absolutely delightful coffee cafe in Outer Richmond. One of the best coffees in SF, a great range of milks plus a decadent chocolate croissant. I’m in heaven.
Such a cute coffee shop and great addition to the neighborhood. Killer lattes & cappuccino by Ritual Coffee. A nice, simple menu of pastries, sandwiches, toast, etc. My fave is the Karls Hoagie (vegetarian). The wallpaper is amazing. Chill vibes and a great music/playlist. The owner, Brendan, is such a genuine, nice guy and all the staff are super friendly. The large communal has plenty of space for a laptop while enjoying a coffee. Location is great to grab to go food and enjoy in Lincoln Park, Lands End, Legion of Honor etc.
Great coffees and lattes for breakfast and amazing sandwiches for lunch. Its a new spot, def worth a visit.
Nice coffee. And friendly staff
Very friendly owner and employees! Super cute cafe :)
Tasty coffee and great atmosphere!
This place literally rocks! They just opened on Geary in the Outer Richmond area. This is one of my fav neighborhoods in SF and it just got so much better. The decor is absolutely stunning. It’s warm, inviting, and has a boho chic feel to it. The cute koala decor and wallpaper add to the incredibly fun and generous energy. I’ll be back as often as I can! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend. They’re open every day 8 to 5, including this long holiday weekend!
Great coffee! And friendly vibe
Adorable new cafe with THE best croissants. Coffee was on point, as was the music (diggin Prince with my morning java). Will be back.
Lovely new cafe on Geary. We got a flat white, oat latte, plain croissant and almond croissant. Check them out during their soft opening!
This cute little coffee shop is new to the Outer Richmond, as in within the last couple days and I highly recommend stopping in. The owner is the nicest man, and his staff are also incredibly nice. My iced latte is perfection and they have a nice assortment of baked goods. I picked up a chocolate croissant (not pictured because I ate it too fastand it hit the spot.
