Kona in Accra

Went there yesterday and paid 50 Ghs for one beer. When I asked for change, they said that that’s the price for white people…. ?!

This place is the tops!!! Was there last night - best DJ ever, I was on my feet the whole time! (Management: does the DJ have a Spotify or other profile?)The service was great, the ambiance is crazy good. Loved everything about it!

Its a local restaurant were native meals are served ...had banku and shito on different days. No remark on the meal because I could only eat the fish ehuch was tasty. Its great for a local experience

If you are looking for crowded there you have it, Kona!But I think the management should do better with hygiene, the place needs care!

Night was fun , music tempo is onpoint and the MCs are also good . You can puff and pass here plus they got some delicious chicken

The manager has no manners and his communication with the customers are bad he needs to be sacked or changed otherwise alot of people will not come to the place

Music was way too loud for a small place like this. Noisiest place Ive ever been to.Food wasnt bad though.

Nice place for people who like club type noisy music.but the chairs are wreck .they jave to make a design for the chairs. they are not comfortable

This spot was sooooo LIVE, just like any nightlife spot in Osu! Love the set up, the crowd came to have fun, even the staff were dancing. Saturday night dj, big up onoo self. He controlled the mood and kept it hype with excellent music selections. I even got to hear some dancehall 🇯🇲 and Marlon Asher representing trini massive🇹🇹. I left there fully satisfied! Will stop through again soon. If you thinkin about going, it’s very crowded so if you want to find a good spot to land, get there before we did (we walked in at 2am🤣)

Awesome place to party on the weekend, mostly fridays and Saturday. There is great finger foods and affordable drinks too. Good music and a place to get to meet new people.

Kona has been a lively experience for me all the times I have been there (twice). It can get a bit crowded but they do have a good DJ who knows how to make music sound good. Good place to unwind. Smoking is allowed so if you are triggered by smoke it will be best you dont go there.

Kona is a great place of/for entertainment. Great environment with good music and good food. I just found a new place to have fun 😊

If you want to party till sunrise, please locate Kona...😂... there’s never a dull moment. Unlike other places that gets dull as the minute pass, Kona gets more lively and fuller. No get fee so don’t fall a victim. If you want to secure a good seat, make reservations or go there early... if you get there by 11pm going, you might not get a place to sit or a good sitting position... the only downside is the place gets waaaaay too full that people are just touching each other now. I think it’s time for owners to expand the place

Had a very bad experience today👎👎....reason I left early... One waiter xxxxxx approached in a very senseless and absurd mode.... .Big up to the other waiters who calmed me down👇.But I had to leave anyways.If I could rate Kona with a zero star I would gladly do.

Theyve really improved their space. A must go place with a group of friends. The music is highly old school inspired and sure, some of the new stuff. They have a VIP rooftop space you can book as well.

Fun. Music was good but NO space designated for smoking therefore non smokers are exposed to smoke. Yam chips with chicken wings on point

It has this welcome to Accra Vibes. Beautiful Ghanaian music mixed with numerous African songs. All played on different level of open floors. The drinks are the cheapest Ive seen in my stay at Accra. It begins to get filled from 10:30pm (thats when the party starts). 🥳

Place was very lively and nice. Bartender (malewas friendly, but waitresses never came to take our orders. They were always looking uninterested. Will come there to dance but not to drink and dine.

One of a wild spot in Osu for a night life, always packed every time as if there’s no break in the week. Music and Food is good aside it’s just the service which is sort of not good cause I had to remind the waitress on 2 occasions maybe cause many people ordering too.

Great job done with the renovation, although their prices have shot up a lil bit but its got nice atmosphere and cool place to jam.. But NB, dont go and sit at the VIP if youre not buying a spirit. Beers and stouts are not allowed there. Have fun and dont drink ans drive 👌 💯...

Great local night club frequented by amazing Ghanaians, and a few expats. The drinks are reasonably priced and the music is definitely on point - the best Afrobeats.The people are wonderfully kind and happy to share the dancefloor. A must visit to anyone whos a fan of dance and good music!

Popular, well decorated place. Mixed crowd of locals and expats. Very busy on the weekends. Excellent DJ playing a big mix of tunes. Worth a visit!
