Delicious gluten free toasties. Lovely service too

Ordered for the first time and very happy with the meal. However, I expected my toasties to be toasted and not deep fried. Hence 4 stars, otherwise very healthy Kombination. thankyou

Gorgeous, delicious & coeliac friendly cafe! What a find! The food here is lovingly prepared and absolutely delicious for both the coeliacs and non-coeliacs amongst us. My daughter with anaphylaxis was also happily catered for with her nut allergies. Terrific menu, lovely friendly staff, gorgeous atmosphere. Highly recommended!

This place is one of my favorite coffee place in Hobart :unique coffee ☕️ and beautiful cup.

I didnt enjoy the food nor the coffee. The ambience is very cute and tastefully though. I wish Id known it was a gluten free place beforehand.

A bunch of the loveliest girls youll meet, making pretty good coffee (which is the main reason I visit). Have only tried a limited number of other treats/smoothies etc, which are all gluten free (possibly the only downside, gluten is tastybut everything Ive had here has been good! One of my favourite places to stop for a coffee and grab a little something to take to work for lunch!

review based on the house made cashew nut milk cappuccino and latte: smooth espresso, velvety froth and house made nut milk that you can taste is not uht/ otherwise commercially preserved. 5 stars for the house made cashew nut milk coffee- perfect.The smoothie bowl is also recommended for being delicious and energising in a ‘healthy’ way (although on the pricey side(4 stars). The smoothie is Expensive (for Tasmanian and Melbournian standards :/ ).

Over rated. The staff was not welcoming and arrogant. We took 2 smoothies, one with mushrooms. It was good but we didnt feel the taste of the mushrooms at all, the other one strawberries/potaya/peanut butter one was not good at all. They use frozen fruit & ice (I dont understand why adding ice in a smoothie when you can just use milk or juice...), so except for the peanut butter we dont taste any of the other products.So extremely disappointing cause the place looks good.

A genuinely tragic experience from beginning to end.During my stay in Battery Point I have walked past the smoothie bar a few times and was excited to give it a go. i finally decided to pop in after seeing signage outside declaring “we don’t charge extra for non dairy milk!!!” Only to be told when I ordered a smoothie on almond milk that I would be required to pay an extra $2 for the change in milk. I questioned this and was told that the sign outside the literal ‘smoothie bar’ only applied to coffees because quote “it takes way more milk to make a smoothie” as I was advised by the clueless waitress. After copping the $9 for some blended almond water and 45 grams of frozen mango I sat at one of the outside tables to drink it. After about 10 minutes I was approached by another staff member who in an incredibly accusatory tone asked that I “not consume food from other restaurants at the venue.” I’m assuming she was referring to the brown paper bag I had with me sitting on the table. A bag that contained a new salt shaker and book…. I attempted to explain that the only thing I was consuming on premises was the obscenely overpriced and exceptionally mediocre smoothie. However, she would not let me speak and continued to interrupt to tell me that the venue was entirely gluten free and that’s why I wasn’t allowed to eat whatever she assumed was in my paper bag from the nearby gift shop on site. Overall, can’t believe I dropped $9 on a pretty pathetic experience.

Unfortunately, we couldnt eat here as the chef was unable to provide our request for scrambled eggs. Fried and poached, yes, but as our young child only eats scrambled we chose another venue. (I honestly dont understand how the chef couldnt cook scrambled eggs). Its a shame as it seemed a great place to have breakfast.

Absolutely loved this place. Its small and inviting. Really liked the Kombi theme. The coffees (we had a latte and mochawere spot on and the kids really enjoyed the Bounty Hunter smoothie.We sat outside and although it was a bit fresh, the blanket kept us warm. I would without a doubt go back to Kombi again and have food there too.

Good food and coffee with reasonable prices. A nice variety of unique dishes. Some foods are low or no sugar.Rating suffers due to lack of restrooms.

There is a sign inside Kombi Cafe that reads "Good vibes save lives". But they didnt mask the smell of sewerage wafting through the floorboards.The smoked sea salt in the potato rosti distracted from what was an otherwise decent dish. The banana split was quite nice and pleasant.Our smoothie was watery except for some blended dental hazards. Our cappucino, served without foam or much coffee, did at least, come in a nice ceramic cup. We asked for an extra shot and the friendly staff kindly added two, rendering it even less drinkable.

One of my fav things about Hobart. Came back multiple times. One of my fav cafes period in fact. Ordered the smoothie bowls, can’t get enough!

It has taken me two visits to say I dislike Kombi. Bordering on passe, tending to precoscious needs must be taxing as the staff are lacking spark. This is shown in the small serves of pre prepped easy make snacks.Be friendlier to all and serve bigger plates.

Perfect place for a chilled out, nourishing and extremely healthy breakfast. The staff were very friendly and the service was impeccable. The food was very tasty!

Best coffee we have had. Not bitter and just the right temperature. Very friendly service. Loved sitting at the front window bench taking in the beautiful view of the historical homes. Just love this spot!

The best smoothie bowls in Australia, and I mean better than Bondi, Byron Bay and QLD smoothie bowls. The texture is just heavenly. Definitely go there for breakfast on one of three hot summer Hobart days :)

Kombi Cafe had great vego food. Stopped in for breaky on a public holiday. Venue was lovely and cozy, great coffee. Would come here again.

Awesome little gem tucked away in Battery Point, awesomely friendly staff and brilliant food - One of, if not my favourite places in Hobart to go on a hot day for a cool smoothie and bite to eat. Well worth your time!

Amazing looking little cafe with a relaxed vibe. They even play the best deep house lounge music. Insane smoothies, good coffees and really nice staff. Perfect place to have some quiet time and enjoying your coffee or breakfast.

One of Hobart’s best vego cafés! So many tasty smoothies/smoothie bowls and lots of vegan treats. Love their sweet potato toast and the homemade nut milk is delicious ✨

Couldnt recommend Kombi Cafe more. A lot of thought is put into sourcing high quality ingredients, and its easy to find a healthy (and very tastymeal/smoothie/smoothie bowl on the menu. Could rave about this place for ages. Love your work, Kombi! 👌🏽

kombi Cafe, is a great little cafe in battery point , for a healthy breakfast or lunch and a great atmosphere, the staff are always friendly and welcoming , and the coffee is always good , and so is the tea , never disappointed, and neither are my family or freinds we will be back again and again, great job keep it up 😀

Kombu Cafe is a cosy, comfortable place to relax. The staff are friendly and the sustenance choices are healthy and tastey. We enjoyed our Maqui smoothie. Highly recommended.

Amazing food, smoothies and coffee! Entirely gluten free, vegetarian and they understand FODMAP requirements too :)! Many options for those with tricky food allergy requirements.
