I have been frequenting Kokeb since 2012 and am sorry to state that the quality of the restaurant and food are deteriorating. Don’t get me wrong, you can get some of Nakuru’s most delicious food here, but we have recently often been disappointed. Nowadays it’s nearly impossible to order a vegetarian dish (surely cooking veggies such as sukuma or lentils isn’t impossible?), leave alone a beyaynetu. I really hope the owners will invest in renovations so the people who love Kokeb’s food and ambiance can continue enjoying it without continuing to be disappointed.

The service was not good. It took very long for the food to be served and when it was brought it was not as expected. We were five and it was the same case for everyone.

Kokeb Restaurant is a place to be. A recreational and hygienic food not forgetting Ethiopian dishes. Kokeb live.

Good and a quiet place to eat chicken.

Disappointing experience. Asked for boiled goat arosto but was served fried goat. The waitress was pleasant but did not seem to know the difference between fried and boiled goat. My food was replaced with the correct order but the meat was terrible.There was a bui bui clad lady at the cashiers who I assumed was one of the owners, but she didnt seem bothered with the bad service.I noticed several cockroaches crawling on the wall. Generally a bad experience.

We found this restaurant durant our walking on main street... We were looking for an Ethiopian food restaurant.We met a wonderful owner (new since one month only)...his team are available for us (we were 13 persons... We came back yesterday and what surprise ? a beautiful cake to celebrate the French Victory on this World Cup.Thank you so much for this attention Sir and it will be a pleasure to come back in Nakuru and taste again your meals (Doro Wat ....YUMMY 😋😋😋😋)

Kokeb Restaurant is ideal for small private meetings and is centrally accessible from the main Street in Nakuru. Food is fairly priced and they serve a variety of dishes.Service can however be slao at times
