Chicken korma medium very tasty.

They literally packed wrong food. Asked for Karahi Paneer and they packed chicken instead. Completely careless work. Don’t recommend.

Best food i have ever tried

Twice now the medium has been mild and the butter vege was no more than peas carrots and beans - which we all have in the freezer - dissappointing long time customer. Tonight especially cold and raining we wanted our usual curry. Twice in a row will look else where now.

Always get my naan bread here. Staff are friendly and fast.

Chicken khorma and roti were freshly made. It was tasty and not greasy :hope to have the consistency when I try it next time. Cheers!

This is one of the three Indian Restaurant I often visit for some good and tasty Indian food. I have been to this place a couple of time. But since the covit lockdown, only takeaway is offered. Now sit down dining is back. Overall the food is tasty and the taste has been consistent throughout. Service is quick and friendly. No parking problem. If you like Indian food dont miss Kohinoor.

Did a big order last Valentine’s Day, spent over $100. There were three people that ordered ahead of us and only two staff preparing that day. The family had bad stomach aches the day after. The korma wasn’t spicy which we ordered medium and hubby noticed that the chicken still rubbery and when checked wasn’t cooked properly. Sadly I think our order was rushed that day. They were always been good in preparing our orders. But we still love going to this place. The curries are delicious. Maybe they were just overwhelmed with the orders. I think they need more staff on busy days.

Ordered chilli paneer for the first time from this place. It was stale and tasted like vomit. And who chooses to slice the onions and capsicum length wise for a chilli paneer. You always cut them into quarters 😒. I have added a photo for proof. This is the most disgusting paneer ever. I hope I do not fall sick after eating this. Who ever is cooking in your kitchen needs to get their basics right.

Only been a couple of times for the lunch special but both have been excellent. Really rich and full of flavour. Very nice family run store too.

Ordered food as we didnt feel like cooking. My Paneer Tikka Masala was bland, no flavor could only taste the chili. Kadhai Chicken was salty. Really bad experience we didnt even finished our food this is the second time I have experienced this. I wish I hadnt ordered definitely not going back there and will definitely pass this experience to our friends and family so they dont waste their money.

Food is absolutely stunning here. Really deep, authentic and flavourful food. Wait times are short with friendly, safe staff. They also advised and worked with allergies. Thanks.

We ordered for the first time last week from Kohinoor due to their raving reviews, however we really wish that we had saved our money. The curries were bland and reminded us of Watties tomato soup and the different levels of spice we requested were indistinguishable. The naan was also doughy and not cooked for as long as it should have been. All and all we disliked our meals so much that we couldnt finish them. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if youre wanting authentic Indian cuisine.

Flavourful food and I use to go here all the time but the chicken in the curries is terribleMust be heating or reheating chicken in microwaveUnfortunate because some of the other food is great

Food is made fresh which is always a plus. Not a fan of the biryani tho. Go for the goat special instead

This place used to be average but they have stepped up the quality and consistency. Updated review from 2 to 4 stars :)... the cheese naan bread needs to be more consistent. Sometimes its bursting with cheese and other times it seems like there is almost none.

This is my favorite Indan restaurant in all of West Auckland.- Price is very competitive.- Portion sizes are good- Taste is amazing, you cant really go wrong. Even the vegetarian curries are to die for.We survived the first lockdown by buying 8x curries for Kohinoor and freezing them, having one a week.Garlic cheese Naan is excellent as others have mentioned.Butter paneer curry is great too.Dine in experience was less impressive as we had to ask the waitress twice for obvious things such as water and additional glasses, she did come by the table fairly regularly however.

Delicious food combined withe great friendly service. Had our christmas party there and the team totally enjoyed. Hospitality was amazing.

Food at this restraunt is simply amazing. We usually take a takeaway. Their Rara gosht, dal makhni, malai kofta, hara bhara kebab are simply outstanding. Love the food. Definitely recommended

We buy alot of delivery meals from here the taste is on point. We get butter chicken, not alot of chicken, 4-5 average sized bits. But the taste makes up for it. And the garlic cheese Naan and popadoms are one of our favorites. All their food is really good.

Ordered online. Butter chicken, chicken korma was on point. Great rice, ordered 2 garlic cheese naan, 1 was fresh, the other was a little older but tasted ok. Chicken Tikka was great. Cant complain, overall, 9/10. Will definitely order again. Level 3 delivery was superb.👍👍

Food was well priced and quite tasty. Nice fluffy rice and soft naan. But why for all that is good and holy do nearly all Indian restaurants insist on making butter chicken/paneer sickly sweet?? Asked for medium paneer makani and basically got a dessert, no hint of spice and much more gravy than paneer. Chana masala was ok, not medium spiced like I asked though. Would give them a chance and visit again to try other menu items.

Currently my favourite Indian restaurant for takeaway nights. Food is good, some nights are better than others but Ive never been disappointed. The restaurant is small but it has a warm and cosy atmosphere. Delivery option is convenient. Ive only had food delivered once but it arrived quickly and was still hot.

Very disappointed. Your food was pre frozen and reheated. Possibly even in a microwave Pakora were stale. I do not recommend this place. I hope Im ok in the morning and no dodgy tummy.

Butter chicken and lamb korma decent but not great. They make the only garlic naan I’ve ever wanted to eat another one of - yum!

Terrible food quality..Vegetarian vrindaloo red color, lots of chilli powder overly sprinkled on the liquid gravy...Similarly on frozen paneer pieces still hard and a gravy heated poured on those pieces and given as a takeaway...would mark negative

A friend and I needed dinner between meetings so we tried Kohinoor. It was a very good decision - the food was fabulous, the service fine and the price very reasonable. I will be going back.

Normally Indian food is such a gamble for me - but this place was absolutely stellar!!Food tasted as good as it looked (bombay aloo, tikka masala, naan, and samosas were so good!! They have great combo meals for certain days of the week); prices were also super solid (Indian tends to be on the high side price wise), and service was lovely.Would definitely make the effort to come here again, pretty much one of the few embodiments of why I love the foodie life😂💕

Naan brad was good. Rice was good, curry was pretty average. The vegetables seemed to be frozen? There was a gum in the napkin used to serve the papadoms. The coke we got was flat, obviously from the end of the bottle. Not to impressed. Service was ok.

One of the best butterchickens in the game. Friendly staff quick to order with decent english. They serve alcohol of you like. Dining in is a good option a little small inside but is certainly adequate. Plenty of pakring outside. No outdoor dining. Also they are one of the only indian places ive seen with a order online option with delivery.

We love going to this restaurant but wish they would serve enough rice initially. You have to keep asking and waiting. Otherwise fantastic food and friendly staff.
