Kohana Sushi & Ramen in Clarksville

We had my sons 35th Birthday get together and they took great care of us. The food is always great!! Thanks from one business owner to another!!

Ermuhgawd.Amazing, delightful, tastey, scrumptious, delicious and more.I had the spicy miso and added garlic paste and mushroom.

Went in with my wife and a couple friends the other day and while the food was generally OK everything took entirely too long… sat down fast but my drinks were empty almost the whole time and my server brought my food out after standing in a corner talking to a couple other employees for a good 15-20 minutes. Honestly would’ve preferred a DRINK REFILL or something. My wife goes to the bathroom and overhears them, come to find out they are whispering about other staff. As if this is the time and place, my dinner was probably ready this whole time. My food came out lukewarm and stale tasting as if it was under a heater and I didn’t tip. Totally unprofessional. My dog would’ve provided better services.

A true hidden gem in Clarksville. Kohana offers a variety of Japanese cuisine, try their ramen bowls and the many forms of sushi. A plus, they are very reasonably priced. May I recommend their "Spicy girl" sushi rolls if you like spicy. If not, their Alaskan roll is very tasteful. They also offer Japanese curry and for those who would like to challenge themselves, they have the "mother of all sushi" roll. This plate comes with six or so hockey puck sized rolls. Will definitely come back for more.

Ate there first time couple days ago. Very good. Services were excellent. Restaurant beautiful. Most definitely will be going back soon.

This is our favorite ramen restaurant! I always get sushi, but my husband and kids order the ramen! The food is delicious, there’s never a wait, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the place is clean. We always enjoy ourselves and we repeatedly bring guests here with us when they come into town to visit.

Its small portions for $17 a roll. Good flavor but small rolls. Greeters are nice but the actual servers lack service.

The restaurant was adorable and I loved the menu options. But when I got my ramen the taste was underwhelming. Looked beautiful. But literally had no taste other than noodle. Thats my only complaint tho. Sushi was delicious and server was so sweet!!

We love their sushi! I tried the Mushu for the first time and really liked it!

Kohana is my favorite restaurant in Clarksville.I’ve been several times and the service is always great.My first time here, I ordered a house salad and the waiter recommend trying both of the dressings together instead of picking just one and WOW…I’ve gotten that every time since.I always get the Spicy miso ramen…it’s perfect.I have tried different sushi rolls and nigiri and I’ve enjoyed them all.If I get to pick where we got for dinner it’s always Kohana, for my birthday..went to Kohana, bad day? Getting Kohana on the way home. 5/5 from me!!

First timers and wow were we impressed! The food was absolutely incredible. Get the shrimp fried rice. Just do it😂 The sushi rolls were huge and flavorful and the service was truly wonderful from start to finish.

My favorite sushi place in Clarksville. Great service, amazing food and fair prices. If your not a sushi person there are plenty of other options to choose from.

Probably the best place in town for Japanese style food. Definitely for ramen. Nice environment. Quick staff. Great food. Not really any kid options though

This place 100% meets expectations. Starting off, the service was amazing. They sat us, took our order, and checked on us perfectly without being overbearing.Then theres the food. The appetizers came out hot and ready. Each part of it was amazing and left me wanting more.Then came the ramen. These portion sizes are amazing. They gave the option to add more noodles and I didnt even need it. The bowl was packed full. The taste was savory and flavorful. Each bite made me want more. Even when I was full (while not even finishing my whole bowl!), I kept wanting to go back for more.100/10. Would highly recommend. We went out of our way to try it out and were not disappointed!

Was my first time to dine at Kohana Sushi and Ramen. Cute decor and bright surroundings. We were greeted and seated pretty much immediately after requesting a booth. We ordered gyoza, edamame, tempura, and an assortment of special rolls and two bowls of udon noodles. Food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Our server Ethan was on the top of his game...never had to ask for drink refills and he checked on us periodically but never hovered. Will definitely be back!

Imo not very good. had the tonkotsu black and the gyoza and was highly disappointed because I was expecting much more from the pics online. The broth tasted old and not much flavor, the shasu was bland and stringy, the noodles were way too soft.

This is my new favorite restaurant! I lived in Asia so Im familiar with Asian cuisine and the food here is fantastic. The atmosphere is relaxing, the service is great, and the food is wonderful. I would recommend arriving before they open for dinner or making reservations because tables fill up quick. I went on a week night and 20 minutes after they opened almost every table was seated. I absolutely recommend Kohana.

ALWAYS GREAT! I love the Sweetheart roll, Phoenix roll, and the Kohana roll the best. The XO rice is always on point. Staff is always friendly. They made me have a bad sushi habit for years. I almost some needed help.🤣

The Tonkatsu Black Ramen was spectacular. And the service was amazing. Highly recommend!

Checked this place out while in town a while back. First time and the food was really good. Some were things we had never had before, so it wasnt to our liking, but looked great and everything was flavorful. Will definitely try again, once we better understand the menu LOL

Very nice place, the lady that took my order was super. She made sure that I understood everything on the menu, I ordered ramen and it was fantastic. I will go back time and time again as Im excited to try more items on their ramen menu. The pork belly in the ramen was out of this world, cant wait to try their other ramen. Highly recommend if you want traditional ramen and a really good sized selection at a reasonable price.

I have been going here for years this is one of my favorite places to eat. Not to expensive the atmosphere is awesome and when Steve can find appropriate animes for a family setting he plays anime on the TV. Steve is usually my server he is down to earth and super nice. He has the greatest people skills I have seen in a server in forever and if you ever cant decide what you want he will sit there and help you figure out the best thing for you. Ten out of five stars for this place it is the best!!

First off, our server was great! Ethan was respectful, knowledgeable and personable. He was literally the perfect server and that is as important as the food for my husband. The food. ....was Amazing! I had the Philadelphia roll which was the best Ive had and the cheese delights (cream cheese ragoonswere named appropriately. They were huge and that fluffy, crispy outside did it all! One bite and the creamy delicious filling was all that too and so much that there was enough to fill each bite along with that crispy goodness. Its honestly enough to fill you up without anything else! I was so in awe that I cant remember what my husbands entry was but he raved about it so it must have been good and he got the vegetable roll which he said had so many flavors, every bite was better and better. We definitely give them and Ethan 2 👍🏼👍🏼and recommend highly! Ethan also deserves to be acknowledged with his awesome self. Service like that is scarce. They better keep him.

Review is for sushi only cannot speak on the rest of the food. Everyone was friendly and we got seated very quickly.Staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐Sushi ⭐The sushi was not good. The biggest problem was the amount of sauce that was used. Two rolls swimming in sauce. Did not finish either one, not even close. We had two signature rolls. I honestly cannot even tell you how the roll tasted it was completely over powered by the sauce and the sauce was not good.

This is an amazing restaurant came all the way from Kentucky to eat here for the first time I highly recommend this place 100%

I had the Beef Yaki Soba and it was delicious. The strawberry mochi is the best Ive ever had and the customer service was great.

Tuna sashimi and phoenix roll to die for. Also had miso soup and edamame. All AMAZING. Why does this place have to be 3 hours away from Chattanooga!!? Best sushi I’ve had since moving from Seattle. Jealous of everyone who lives close to it 🤪

Beautiful restaurant and equally delicious food. The Spicy Miso ramen was extremely tasty, the ground pork being a little hard to really eat with noodles. Paired with the spicy Mushu roll is sure to clear the sinuses. My favorite was the Chicken Katsu.

My husband and I started coming here when we moved to the area in December. Their food is DELICIOUS, especially the spring rolls. Staff is always really friendly and the wait isn’t long at all.Update: brought our 13 year old here and he loved it too!

Came here not expecting much and was absolutely blown away! I had there super Bowl rolls and ramen as well as moochi and cookie dough wontons not a single dish disappointed me absolutely amazing and a must have will be coming here way more often! The ramen with pork belly in it i outstanding the pork belly just melts in you’re mouth! On the service side staff were very friendly and on point, were seated and taken care of very quickly! Highly recommend this restaurant it’s definitely a 10/10.

We arrived in the evening on a Friday just after they open and, surprisingly, were able to be seated right away. The place was busy but everyone was attended promptly and the staff was freindly. The Signature Sushi rolls are amazing! We had the Sexy Lady, Spicy Girl and Tiger Eye rolls. The Sexy and Spicy rolls had a good spiciness to both, one had a smoky flavor that was very entertaining to the mouth. The Tiger Eye was warm on the inside and had a taste that made me wish I had ordered 2! Next time we will try some of the Ramen which looked great at other tables but we have an obsession with sushi. We were very happy with our visit.

Great service, water always filled and prompt food out, kudos as it was busy. The Yellow tail was hands down the best and quite delicious. The spicy girl roll, with the crab on the top was also tasty.

Service was excllent and the food was just as good! I ordered their most popular Ramen and the Mushu sushi roll and it was phenomenal! This restaurant also donated proceeds to local charities for their merchandise so grab a shirt while your there! Highly recommend ❤️

On our way to a football game we decided to stop here and eat first and we are so happy we did! It was absolutely delicious and was reasonably priced for how big of a portion you receive. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

First time going tonight for my 18 year anniversary. Amazing service! Everything I ordered was completely on point. Clean and friendly environment. We also got our desert free bc of our anniversary. I will be going back bc I want to try EVERYTHING on the menu!

I’m a little bummed we’re JUST NOW discovering Kohana. What a WONDERFUL experience. Not a disappointing thing about it. Had some ramen (the chicken broth one), some yellowtail and tuna 🍣 (like meat butter❤️), Chicken Bun, Veggie Tempura, AAAAAND, the tempura banana. 😳🤯🤩 Looking fwd to our 2nd visit already.

My husband and I moved not too far from Clarksville and have been trying new places when we can. We picked kohana based off of reviews and we were not disappointed. This restaurant is reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was very clean very polite and helpful staff. I definitely recommend dinner here you will not be disappointed!

Today is my husbands birthday and we searched far and wide for a place to have lunch to celebrate. We picked this location a good hour from us because he really wanted ramen. Everyone was very satisfied with the choices they made. The kids loved their ramen and will have some for dinner, my husband said all the flavors of his ramen came together perfectly. The sushi rolls were fresh and delicious. Our server was very patient and friendly. The atmosphere was warming. We will go back for sure!

So the photos don’t do this place justice. We ordered the spring rolls and they were paired with an amazing sauce! We ate three before I remembered to take a photo. We choose the ramen dishes and you can add to it your toppings more broth, and more ramen. Delicious! I was so surprised that I liked this so much. It was just as good the second day for lunch too! We also got the chicken fried rice for the little one. It wasn’t all ate but it was tasty!

Ordered the smoked salmon and one to go because they were perfectly buttery. The 101st roll was great and the superbowl roll was very filling. We also had the tempura shrimp and veggies and chicken katsu. Everything was delicious

The waiter Ethan really helped me and my husband out! This place has such an amazing atmosphere, delicate and sweet in a sense. I have never been hear before so we went all out, he gave us the recommendations that I absolutely loved, Maki rolls and the flavored sake! Everything was beyond delicious and I will be coming back! Our Ramen bowls were so 🔥 good ... I couldnt even finish, adequately sized food. You do get what you pay for, please eat here its no joke!

Absolutely the best ramen Ive had since being in Chicago 2 yrs ago. And the pork belly bun is chefs kiss.

We went here looking for Ramen and what we found was a restaurant that had a little something for my whole family. I love Asian food and the sushi and Maki were phenomenal. My daughter and wife loved the Ramen. The staff was very friendly and I will being going back.

I have to say this restaurant was excellent on our visit. The food was amazing and the homeade spicy pepper paste was spot on. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. Some of the best ramen I have ever had the joy of eating. We will for sure be back and I highly recommend giving this place a try. The service and atmosphere was truly wonderful.

Very good feel as u enter. Spacious, clean design. Delicious sushi choices. Did not try their ramen menu. Theres no lunch specials. Most is pick a roll and comes with choice of soup or salad. Had Steve as our server. Great service with our group of 6. Gave us 10% off for no reason!
