Charming public square known for its open-air fountain that is fed by an underground hot spring.
Very nice place
The famous old hot spring of Wiesbaden and a nice playground for children.
It was okay. Nothing extraordinary.
I like it but the hot water not clean and have a smell
Beautiful place to visit amazing natural hot spring!
Amazing seeing the naturally heated water rising from below the surface of the earth.
Its a fountain with hot water from the ground. Some people drink it and some dont. I like to rummy hands under the hot water.
It is a perfect place to drink some mineral water to your health. Also a nice place to take your visitors to see and try it out.
Amazing place
Its not a must-see. Its more of an if-you-happen-to-pass-by-have-a-look kind of thing.
Beautiful Decor Very good Ambiance. Great for Girls Lunch, Rendezvous, Quick Business Lunch, Romantic Dinner! Food Selections and Quality Excellent.
Super cool place! It is such a strange thing, to have burning hot water coming nonstop out of a fountain in the city. Its such a wonder which is totally worth the visit. There is also an area which you can try to bathe, but its probably too hot for most people.
Nice place to taste the mineral water, but you need something to drink from, it is too hot otherwise. Water tasts too mineralized, so you can drink only a bit. Great, that this is available for everyone and free of charge
Central and worth a look. Not exactly pretty, but still interesting.
When not busy, a good atmosphere in the heart of the city; in warm evenings, it can be very relaxing.
Calm and nice place in the middle of Wiesbaden with ancient views.. the hot water fountain is unique.. the place is surrounded with nice caffee shops
Chill park to hangout! Thermal springs, playground, grass area, restaurants, and a wall where local kids play kickball
Enjoy the got spring. Kids play area. And some nice restaurants around.
Beautiful, is a place to walk around and relax in winter and of course, in sommer is for sitting around and have a beer or so
Lovely city square with benches, playground, and cafes.
Quite neat. Water is incredibly hot. Would recommend checking this out while in the area.
One of the attractions in Wiesbaden, a natural hot spring, right in the city center. You can also drink the healing water, which is very special
Extremely nice staff. The food is great, although the portions could be a bit larger...
This is free to visit. The minerals have produced some beautiful colours, and the spring water is lovely and warm on a cold day. The drinkable water is in a monument that is being renovated at the time of my visit Feb 2020.
Not bad
I found this to be one of the most underrated tourist attractions of the city of Wiesbaden - needless to say a must visit.A must visit on a cold winter evening or during the day, putting your feet inside the hot water springs the best part is that since it is a natural spring, it is said to have medicinal properties and provide natural soothing effect.Although there are no warning signs of the hot water however it is difficult to miss the hotness by the glowing visible steam. It does not have a very huge in the areas however it is said to have almost over 100 l of disposition of water every minute, which is further used for industrial purposes.
Wiesbaden has lots of springs and this is one of the famous easy access springs. Its right in the middle of an imposing area and especially in the winter time its steaming away all the time! Translated Kochbrunnen means literally Cooking fountain. The steam is said to be healthy if you like to inhale it otherwise it is a good place to meet or take your friends to during a walk through the city centre.
The beauty, the steam that just rolled up from the springs. It was very chilly out that night and would have loved to just have sat on the edge and warmed up!
It looks so weird, I havent seen something like this before. You can go there to gaze and have a try of its smell.
A hot water spring in the middle of the city. Well maintained place. There is a tap in the enclosure next to it. One can drink a bit of water from it. May not taste good but they claim good for health. Surprising to see the spring water still live.
A platz like many other squares, not much to review. Happened to be messy at least once as I was passing.
Really nice place, water does not taste nice 😂
Nice water. Best place. Its Wiesbaden, Germany. 40 km from Frankfut
Fountain of youth since before the Roman Empire. My grandmother used to Fill up empty bottles and drink a bottle a day
Its a beautiful park with a thermal spring, with an open air fountain and another with an enclosure. You could drink the hot spring water for good health anytime at all. Many people have done this practice ever since, as a local resident once told and showed me. Best of all its free. Be sure to bring your glass but dont burn your tongue.
Answers the question why the name Wiesbaden - hot mineral springs which the Romans loved. Interesting to see and feel near boiling water cascading over a 50 year old concrete mushroom shape and depositing the mineral components. Smells a bit of sulphur but the colours suggest copper and iron as well. There is a faucet as well from which you can obtain the almost scalding hot water - I am unsure about drinking it, though. I would not make a special journey to Wiesbaden just to see it but if you are here, dont miss it.
Super beautiful, watch out cause the water its hot. Dont miss this point during winter with the stream.
Tryied to drink hot water but I couldnt. But I know that its so healty... if you can do it...
Nice place to see the natural hot water. And lot of restaurent nearby

Kochbrunnen is an awesome tourist spot, it has hot springs and the water is channelled to taps inside the dom. This water is said to have medicinal values. Apart from this, there is a kids play area, and sit-out cafe.
Nice to visit, small playground nearby. Takes only a few minutes to see everything.
Nice square with hot springs. Water is really hot. I mean damn hot! Almost impossible to drink :)
Its neat to see... the water is very hot. Drink a little, not too much.
