Knockadrina Wood in Cill Chainnigh
Description
Privilege
My Go to walk with Shadow & Skye, Just stunning Wood.
It is close to the motorway but the noise rescinds into the distance. What you have is a steep climb but it is well worth it. Up top is a soft bustling wood full of life and colour. Paths zigzag off the main road so there is exploring for the more intrepid.
MoreBest place to encounter the wicked witch of Knocknadrina

I visit once a week for a lovely walk
Lovely pleasant chilling & walking environment. Too many conifers though!
Very nice wood for a walk
A beautiful walk along the river side, very suitable for the family, including children of any age. If you fancy a swim, there are also a couple of pools in the river where one might take a dip.
