It is close to the motorway but the noise rescinds into the distance. What you have is a steep climb but it is well worth it. Up top is a soft bustling wood full of life and colour. Paths zigzag off the main road so there is exploring for the more intrepid.

Great place for a walk in the woods. Dog friendly with a variety of trails. Coffee horsebox serving good coffee and treats nearby. Free car parking

A beautiful walk along the river side, very suitable for the family, including children of any age. If you fancy a swim, there are also a couple of pools in the river where one might take a dip.
