Ill be honest, I wasnt crazy about the place. Its run down and old hence the low price but, it was clean, bug free and quiet. The management and staff were friendly and accomodating. I was on a tight budget and couldnt afford the fancy hotels at $100 to $150 a night. Not many people can. I hate roaches and that is my biggest concern after safety. There wasnt any roaches or insects and the motel is safe. Yup, the property is old. So what? I needed a clean room and an affordable rate. Saving that money made it possible to enjoy my vacation because I had spending money for me. Would I stay again? Yup, I already have plans to stay next year because Im relocating to teach and this is where Ill stay until I get a house or apartment.

Im recently stayed here for 6 days because nothing else was available for less than $300 a night in the entire area! I can afford more, but we looked at this as a place to sleep only, and wanted to spend my money on having fun! was skeptical at first, but I am giving this motel 5 stars because I think it deserves a higher rating that what it has. I feel like the people who are rating it lower did not do their research and actually read about this motel before booking. Heres the REAL details!1. This is an older motel, so if youre expecting it to look perfect like the modern chain places, then do not book here. You will see some marks and scuffs on the walls, the door, maybe some spots with peeling paint, etc - but its SUPER clean, and a safe place for a family. The price is good compared to what others are asking for during the peak season for this area (Salem and Boston).2. It is very quiet at night with the exception that if youre on the bottom floor, you will hear the people walking in the room above you. It is an older building with wood floors, so theres nothing that they can do about that. If that bothers you, then dont stay here.3. The customer service is great! Anytime we needed anything, they were happy to assist and always pleasant.4. They have a nice grab and go breakfast in the mornings, so you can get a muffin, a danish, oatmeal, fruit, and get your coffee and OJ fix. Its simple, but it met our needs for a quick breakfast. They also have some vending machines where you can buy other snacks and soda.5. There is also a great bar/restaurant (with great foodjust up on the hill. If you get back late and want to grab a drink (full barand a pizza or burger, you can walk right to it! When we went, they had a great 80s tribute band one night, and karaoke on another night. It made our stay so much more fun!6. The location is perfect, and its easy to get anywhere from this location. Theres also plenty of parking!If your looking for a visually perfect place, then this wont be the place for you. But for what youre paying IN THAT area, it cant be beat, and youll get a good, safe night sleep and the staff will do anything to make sure that youre happy. Thank you from your Florida friends!

If you understand that this is a simple hotel while you are traveling you will not be disappointed. We stayed here so we can visit Salem and it was only a 20 minute ride. You also have a couple of restaurants and places within 5 minutes.We only really slept there as we spent most of our day on the road. It was clean, cable tv, and everything you would expect from a room. I would stay here again If around the area.

Concierge at front desk upon check in was rude over the once told me he could not find my reservation and could not look up co formation number. Then when we arrived at the property he wasn’t pleasant and said oh we found you booking out on the name wrong. This as just a stop and sleep for us so no big deal. But then the next morning some old man was trying to get into our room. I was pushing on the door not knowing who was on the other side. My husband looking out the window and yelling at this person to go away. So I called the front desk and told them that there was someone trying to get into my room and he described him to me. I said yes that’s the person. He said just call the police if you feel unsafe. No worries about your guest at all. He wouldn’t call them. So I did only to find out it was an old man with dementia that was dropped of by some housing facility and told to wait until they could find him a place to go. The police were awesome there in about 5 min. They were going to take him to where he needed to go, but the staff horrible. Bathtub did not work. And room smelled moldy. Police told us never to stay in Danvers because it high crime.

Room was clean, linens were clean, plenty of parking, staff is friendly, price is right, they allow pets, had a pet room and not one sign of a flea which is rare. The coffee in the office wasn’t horrible either. I saved money staying here a night and it’s just as good if not better than others in the area. It’s not the Ritz, but you’re not paying for the Ritz either. Absolutely would stay again.

Nice and quiet. It was a great room for a few days. The location was also not bad. Door dash, Uber, and Instacart all come out here. Also complimentary breakfast in the mornings. But Id bring ya your own. They were very accommodating and helpful.

Horrible DO NOT GO HERE. They replace heater/ac unit with just ac unit. Had to fight them to get a electric heater. Broken tile in bathroom. Run down, front desk wasnt very helpful had to call them 3 to 4 times before heater came. They argued stating ac unit also had heat. No it just had dry which means taking humidity out of air. We have similar ac unit at home. JUST HORRIBLE

Stayed last night in room 221. Broken tile flooring in bathroom. Quality of room for a price of 290 buck for the night was horrible. Towel and wash cloths where cheaper then Walmarts cheapest. Beds where horrible and lines where junk. But hey if that was it one would say live and learn. Temps at 7 pm where low 50’s. Went to turn the heat on and they had a brand new ac through but not heat front desk said turn in dry we turned dry on and set temp to 86. Left for a couple hour to go into Salem to walk around came back room temp was 61. Called back to Tony desk and played phone tag for them to bring a heater a heater to our room for a 290 a night stay. I have the same air conditioner at home that they swear has heat built in and I can tell you they don’t. The heater that the packaging talked about is for the dehumidifier to evaporate water not to heat the room. Crazy people wast of money horrible place for the price. Live an learn. Will never be back here except to meet with the local code officer to help shut the place down.

Traveling my whole life, I’ve stayed in many many many hotels. Between customer service, room quality/amenities, and pricing, I’d rate this facility dead last. The employees were selfish and rude. The rooms look ten times worse than the photos (and were spot cleaned/smelled odd). We were awakened by footsteps upstairs early in the morning (and I can’t blame the occupants above us as they seemed to just be walking, it was just a seemingly poor design). Also, the pool was shut down and there was no breakfast because of “COVID” yet they were okay with no masks, so make up your mind..is COVID an issue with you or not (they are just nickel and diming). I’ve never left a negative review for a hotel but this one was well deserved. If I had paid a small amount for these rooms I would have regretted it, never mind how overpriced it was. Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay!

Room smells, the people upstairs were stomping all night, the mattress and pillows were bad, just bad.For the amount of money they charge you can do better literally anywhere else. I will not go there again.

Well they said it was a non smoking room but as soon as I walked in it smelled of cigarette smoke . Walls with peeling paint and same with furniture . Burn marks on the furniture… it was pretty clean though. I returned from a bite to eat and I was normally walking around but then received banging on the floor or under me ceiling for what purpose I have no idea , it was just myself so I banged back . No further issues . Point is it looked nothing like the rooms on website and seemed a bit shady !!!

No conditioner no body wash. My daughter lost stuffed animal there and they tell me can’t find anything. No sheets on pullout couch. Stain on pillow case. Alarm clock on floor unplugged. I would not recommend this place at all.

Awesome place to stay, close to Salam, just right for a special birthday weekend. Centrally located. Nearby bar wasnt a problem at all. Room was large and comfortable, nice and clean, no coffee maker but available 24/7 at front desk. Staff very helpful and curtious. Newly renovated rooms are the best, like ours, it was an awesome deal for a really awesome room, we will definitely come back and highly recommend this place for future travel in the Boston/Salam area!

Always answer the phone and are courteous to guests and staff of other hotels. Not sure how the location looks at this time but I’ve heard it’s pretty good for the price. Again - staff is great here and the manager is nice too.

Stayed here during our trip to Salem. Night check in was supppper nice and the room was really clean bed was pretty comfortable as well. Very quiet. Only thing was the floor creaked quite loud but outside of that the room was huge and clean!

Dirty and smelly room. Centipedes on the ceiling and stains on the pull out bed. Only reason we stayed was the price. Every other hotel in the Area is a scam on their price. Just stay further away from town and pay less for a better experience.

Expensive for what you get. Run down room..bathroom door in room 284 dirty and broken. Main floor was not vacuumed well. Refrigerator was not very cold. Loud guests outside real late. For what i paid..189 a night, could have found nicer place.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. My boyfriend and I loved it! It reminded me of a place in the cape I used to stay at. The grounds are very well kept room was perfect and it is very quiet. The gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and nice! Will definitely be coming back!

Property is maintained and landscaped well. Rooms are clean. This property would be perfect for those looking for a budget friendly hotel UNDER $100. Early check in Not allowed due to under staffed housekeeping. Overall would stay again.
