Decent lunch spot. I had the Wolverine burger which was fine. The meat patty was definitely institutional.

dont understand why it is crowded. The steak is not even as good those cooked myself. The baby back rib is not as bad though.

The original American experience. Simple, dedicated, family owned business. Generation after generation this place evolves slowly keeping a taste of the old good days without being out of touch.The service is extremely kind and personal yet it has high standard.Is the place expensive? It is meant to be a high end restaurant - and it is. The price is in accordance to the experience, location and quality of the food and service.The food is fantastic everything is a classic yet it is original to the restaurant. Big shout-out for the appetizer the delicately perfectly Shrimp and fried calamari or the surprising Cajun Chicken which is probably not the most accurate youd get in New Orleans but it is original and well executed.The ribs are fell off the bones and covered in thick barbecue sauce as they should.Yes, nothing is extraordinary but you are assured of a great food experience for something at the end not over estimated.

Great service amazing food and very clean. We had the cajun chicken bites it was super dilly. We also had the cajun Alfredo it was even more amazing. The bread was good as well definitely going back

Service was outstanding. I was working through dinner and I spilled my beverage and from out of nowhere someone showed up to clean up the small mess. It wasn’t a biggy but It was nice. The ahi tuna was good but not great. A little over seared, however the rest of the meal was tasty. I like this place.

Its been too long since we were there, but Knights is still dishing it out. The quality of the food is excellent, the service is great too. We went in at 6pm Friday, and got right in (without reservation, we waited 12 minutes). The water and hot bread came quickly, as did the waitress to take our orders. The soup/salad/apps came out ALSO quickly, but then they gave us time to eat. The firecracker shrimp was insanely good. The chicken/corn chowder incredible. The steaks were wonderful, perfectly prepared, even the baked potatoes were just right. Hot, fluffy and fresh. The bowl of room temp butter was GREAT, butter you can use !

We stopped in right after the game, hoping to find an available table for six. Three friendly hostesses greeted us and sat us immediately on the patio, per our request. Nate was our server who, despite being extremely busy due to crowd, was attentive, friendly, and remembered everything we ordered! The food was served quicker than we anticipated and was hot and delicious! My Cobb salad was so good I didn’t want it to end. Always a please being able to eat outdoors in downtown AA…especially after a win! I’m this case, it was a win/win! 🙌🏼

The environment and service were great, but the food was very underwhelming for the price. Other tables received bread, which we did not. My steak had a line of seasoning down one side, but was unseasoned on the other. My wifes prime rib looked like a big sad ham steak with entirely too much seasoning added after the fact. The key lime pie was very good.Overall, a beautiful restaurant and a local icon, but I probably wont be visiting again.

Food and service at the bar were great. The charcuterie board did not disappoint.The food and service at dinner were just ok.Maple bourbon hangar steak was tasty, the mashed potatoes were so salty, they were inedible. Our server said "Ill let them know". No replacement or substitution was offered.

Very disappointed, spinach and blueberries in my salad were gross. Waiter asked if Id like it to be remade. They remade it but still no good. The waiter took it away and offered to bring me a different salad, after my party had already finished eating, I didnt want to try a 3rd time. Salad was not taken off bill?

Not surprised that there no response back to complaints on google maps/ mreviews about large parties, paying extremely high prices for low quality cooked food that is bland as can be at a steakhouse. Shouldnt have to soak my Iverson cooked steak in sauce to get some taste on that "jerky" they called a steak to me. Overcharged. Brought to the attention of staff after paying cash but they kept trying to prove how I was wrong until I gave up I n my own hard earned money to have my large family from out if state come in and drop about 800. Go ahead keep my money for the overcharges. Word if mouth is your best Friend or worst Enemy 🤷 I dont think this will be too helpful for ya though. Way to drop the ball in almost every area smfh. Will not be back or recommend.

Amazing food with a great staff. I recommend bringing a jacket because it was a little cold but I’d much rather be cold than hot.

I cant even find words to describe this fabulous restaurant. Great service, food and cocktails. It will be on my favorites list and I hope to return soon for another visit. 👍

Family dinner. Nice atmosphere, great service, and fantastic food. We all had steaks of some form or another, and they were done perfectly! Large portions also.

Gnats gnats gnats! Hard to enjoy a meal while you are fighting off the gnats indoors. Who knows how many say on the food before our plates made it to the table. Hard dinner rolls. Also Berry salad did not meet my expectations.

Try the salmon hash for Sunday funday brunch with a bulleit old fashioned! Dont forget the key lime pie 😉

Spectacular customer service. The restaurant is cozy, clean, and beautiful. We celebrated our wedding weekend and had a great experience. I ordered Chicken Scallopini from the Favorites section of the menu. My husband ordered Cajun Chicken Alfredo. The chicken cutlets were cooked to perfection and capers really elevated the flavor. The waiter gave us a free creme brulee to celebrate our special occasion. We will be back. Thank you!

Had good recommendations and high expectations, but was a bit disappointed with my burger that I received well-done instead of medium, as ordered. I am not in the habit of sending food back, unless it is really disappointing. Plus, we were in a hurry to get back to the Art Fair I was visiting from out of town, and the restaurant started to get busy with influx of customers.Willing to give this restaurant another try, but 4stars for now from me. Will update this post to reflect my next experience.

Delicious burgers and gazpacho soup. Chicken salad in 1/2 cantaloupe is tasty.

Being so close to the original, you would imagine this spot would be a literal clone. Sadly, its not, much to my chagrin.Just go to the Dexter location, you wont be disappointed.

For bourbon drinkers, this is an excellent bar. They had E.H. Taylor and Weller Antique. For food, I got a lobster roll and my wife got a burger. Excellent.

I wanted to like this restaurant but was not impressed. Its overpriced for prepackaged food. The mashed potatoes were terrible and not as good as Idaho instant potatoes. The french fries were hard, the lobster overcooked, and the ribs were dry. However, the salad was tasty, and the cajun pasta wasnt bad. We will not return and would not recommend.

If I had criteria that a restaurant must meet to be considered a "steakhouse", Knights meets and exceeds that criteria. Passing through Ann Arbor on a trip and this gem popped up on a Google search of dining in the area. I couldnt be happier it did.The table service was warm, professional, knowledgeable and hospitable. My bone in ribeye was cooked to medium rare perfection and stood on its own, nothing added. Putting anything on it wouldve been a travesty and taken away from the flavor of the beef. The charcuterie board was a great, lightweight appetizer and I could live on the rolls and butter for the rest of my life if I had to. No problem.My "better half" got a Cajun chicken Alfredo dish (at a steakhouse; I dont get it eitherbut she loved it and I agree, it was very, very good. Not better than my bone in ribeye though. I cant get started on the mashed potatoes and gravy or Ill never end this review. Just go eat here if you havent and if you have then you get it already and probably arent reading this review anyway.Eat at Knights Steakhouse.

I absolutely love this restaurant. I go here with my family all the time at night, and they never disappoint. The steak, brussels sprouts, pasta, and everything here is great. The waiters and waitresses are also so kind and helpful. If youre passing by, Id recommend giving this place a try.

Does that look like an adult portion of fish or a child’s plate for $18? I’ll let you be the judge. I still tipped the waiter David because he agreed how lame it was and got me a burger instead. My friend ordered quiche and the potatoes were cold and hard as if they were burned, then refrigerated before serving. He asked for them to be warmed up and it didn’t make them edible. This is the worst job the kitchen has ever done. Notice how Knights doesn’t respond to any reviews.

This was extremelly dissapointing/ We have goine there several times but things have gone downhill quickly. The staff seems uncaring and i watched them sitting around and talking at a table while waiting on customers. The french dip was the worst i ever experienced the meat was undercooked and cold and it was bad. The other dishes are family had looked like they were thrown together. Presentation was lame and food just plain bad. My suggestion is done go there latter in the envneing when everyone cares less about the customers and ore about just getting out of there......it will be a VERY long time before we go back if eve

I have eaten at theire location near Maple rd. Ann Arbor I arrived earlier than my other friends I was given a look as if I didnt belong there and was seated at a table in the back of the restaurant when there was plenty of open tables I was not approached for about 15 minutes before a server came to my table I told her I was waiting on friends I wasnt offered a glass of water or anything while I waited After the others that was joining me started to arrive the smiles and attentiveness came along I have experience this kind of treatment twice from this restaurant I will not return a third time need I have to say more the low star was not for the food GOODit was for the poor service I received

Had dinner with the family on graduation weekend in Ann Arbor, got the reservation probably 2 months in advance. The wine we had was excellent and the lobster tail was delicious. I was not a big fan of the steaks, Ive certainly had better cuts of meat before. The preparation of the steaks was overly charred on the outside and it took away from the flavor. Our server was very friendly and polite.

Seemed to be every other waiter was kind and bubbly but ours was no help when it came to the menu. The food sub par if your even a decent cook stay home as you can make the food yourself cheaper and better tasting. Overall poor experience money wasted .......

Our server was Aaliyah. She was super helpful and friendly. The brusselsprouts were a 10/10. I personally do not like charred steak and did not realize it would be. The creme brule was a 9/10. The berries with it made it super good, preferably use whipped cream to make it a 10/10. Overall not a bad place to eat.

We went there for a birthday. Everything we had was great. I like how you can look outside and u can people watch. Service was wonderful. Free desert for birthday. U should try. Sunday u can park in the garage for free.

The bar staff was amazing especially Tony F! Made sure we were more than happy in every way. We ate at the bar because the wait was 45min to an hour for a table. We called ahead of time to make a reservation and they said they didnt take reservations till after 830pm, which I thought was weird. But anyhow, like I said the bar keeps were awesome and welcoming for sure. The food was top notch all around, the bone in rib eye was just as I asked for and the scalloped potatoes were a nice change from the same old. The dinner rolls are very tasty and made fresh. The veggies were cooked perfectly. The house made salad dressing was super tasty and salad was fresh! My girlfriend got the chicken fried steak it was absolutely delicious as well. I had to try some. The breading was very tasty and the gravy was fantastic. A great ambiance about the place and right in the midst of the action of the college town. TheI will be sure to return again! And would recommend it to anyone in the area.

Service: The service was excellent. We had reservations for a group of 16 on a particularly busy day in Ann Arbor. The lone waiter was very attentive and took good care of us.Food: I had the Black & Blue Porkchops. They were superb. It was trimmed well; leaving just enough fat on the rind to melt into the meat, moistening and flavoring it. It was seared perfectly enlivening the flavor; yet still moist and tender. The melted crumbles of blue cheese were a generous portion and of good quality.The overall portion of the 1 chop meal, with a baked potato and steamed green beans & carrots, was enough to fill me up. But, the chop was SO delicious I wish I would have ordered the 2 chop meal.We shared the charcuterie board; it was all very good.Gripes: I understand that during this pandemic the sanitary reasons for not providing a real menu and doing the QR code/online menu on your phone thing. But, I still strongly object to it.When dining out with a group we should be all talking, laughing, and enjoying ourselves. Instead, were all left passing around a single QR code card & helping the older or less tech savvy successfully scan it; the whole process is frustrating and takes a lot of time. Then, trying to navigate an unfamiliar menu and remembering where on the tiny screen scrolling list the items youre considering are located is a chore. A nice printed menu is SO much easier to quickly skim, navigate, and remember your considerations. A group should be enjoying jolly conversations, maybe discussing what looks good, and just having a good time. Instead were all left silently frustrated, staring at our damn phones.Id imagine a printed menu would increase sales, especially of appetizers, if menu choosing was more of a group conversation; as opposed to a silent frustrating chore. Table turn around time would improve for the business if this time consuming task were eliminated.This is a fine dining establishment; please provide printed sanitized menus.

We were visiting Ann Arbor and end up visiting Knights twice during our 3 days in town. Our hotel bartender recommended it over Chop House and Webbers. We went Sunday night for dinner and it was very busy. We sat at the bar for what was a 5 minute wait for a table. The steaks and staff were great.We decided to go to another establishment Tuesday night for my birthday. That was a mistake and ended back at Knights to finish off the evening. Andrew our bartender was fantastic and very welcoming.The Makers Mark Knights Reserve is a must try.We will be back during our next trip to Ann Arbor. I already have the Butcher Burger picked out.

The steak was Overpriced and not even seasoned ... no seasoning at all. The bar tender had no idea as to how to make our drink order and worse yet, my wife and I, BOTH, got food poisoning from our meals. NEVER AGAIN!

Everything was great here from salad to drink to steak. I would go here again. My wife likes her steak well done and she said they cooked it the way she likes without drying it out. Mine was a perfect medium rare. Shrimp cocktail had lot of horseradish the way I like it. French onion soup was perfect. Great place for a nice dinner!

My boyfriend’s birthday was yesterday and we got a very well done porterhouse instead of mid rare, then when they recooked it, it came out basically raw. We took it in a box and I fixed it for him with a hot pan and olive oil. We did get a portion of our check comped, but it was my bf’s birthday so it was a bit disappointing.I do like Knights and will likely return, just not when they’re busy and their standards go down.

Very kind and cheerful servers but Idk why they didn’t give me a menu. Because there was only small paper which today’s special menu was written, I ordered it and it was satisfying.

I love their au gratin! The best Ive ever had.

It was fun eating outdoors on a beautiful summer evening, fun to see peoples faces without masks, and fun to eat the delicious food at Knights. I had a wonderful salmon dish with avocado salsa, and my husband indulged in the special of the day, a filet mignon a caprese, quite enticing. Knights is known for their mouth watering meats, and they didnt disappoint! For dessert, we tried their Knight and Day pie, a spectacular treat.

We went here for brunch and had a great meal! I had the chicken and waffles... The chicken was perfectly cooked, not dried out at all. They served it with a siraccha sauce. The waffle was equally perfectly prepared. Robert had the steak and eggs. The steak was super-tender and the eggs were great. Cocktails! Also superb. Our table had the tequila sunrise, bloody Mary and house-made sangria. The staff was very attentive, we never really waited for anything. Five stars!!

Romantic atmosphere, friendly staff. The beer/wine/liquor/cocktail menu is endless. The butternut squash ravioli is one of the best meals Ive ever had!

Very good. We ate at a table in the street and I was impressed with their quarantine precautions. The food was mouthwateringly good. The Caesar salad dressing and Parmesan shavings were notably wonderful.

This place is AMAZING! My girlfriend and I went last week and honestly... wow.She got one of the pastas (the one with butternut squash), loved it, and took enough home to have lunch the next day. She also got the legendary chili, which both of us agreed deserves its reputation.I got the large prime rib, which was the best I have ever had at a restaurant. It was perfectly cooked, just fatty enough to be tasty, nicely seasoned, and SUPER tender. The side of homemade French fries were delicious as well.Each of our portions were large enough to feed a two (expect leftovers!), and for this kind of food, especially in Ann Arbor, the price tag of ~$70 for our visit was very reasonable.The service was also very nice. Even though we are a couple of college kids, not the polished brass of the city, they were courteous and welcoming.This place is just really a gem. The food is great, in both quantity and quality, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is laid back. Great place to go for a good time👍The only bad thing is they get BUSY. Make a reservation or expect to wait a while (it was 45 minutes for us).

The cowboy steak is amazing. One of the best steaks Ive ever had. Thats not hyperbole; it has a great sear, its wonderfully seasoned, and has an amazing flavor. This is a great cut of meat. Truly an excellent experience.

We had a variety of dishes and drinks for k in ncj and everyone was happy with them. The French dip was tender and flavorful. The quiche special had a ton of flavor and was flaky and moist. Sangria was very refreshing on a hot day too. If Im ever back this way I will definitely stop by again.

Went here for an early lunch with some friends. One friend ordered a mule from the bar and said it was excellent. I ordered the buttermilk chicken sandwich. The portions were large and the sandwich was tasty. The sriracha sauce made the sandwich spicier (and messierthan I anticipated but it was still very good. Someone else ordered the prime rib sandwich @ medium rare on the recommendation of our server. It was melt-in-your-mouth fantastic and the au jus was exceptionally flavorful. We will definitely visit again!
