Sugar and spice and everything nice

One of the hidden gems of Ljubljana. Especially difficult to find right now because of all the scaffolding. Friendly staff and all multilingual. Ambient music is nice and the suroundings invite you to stay for another cup or glass of your favorite drink. The only minus (for meis that smells like smoke. Other than that it is really a pleasure having a drink there of any kind.

Forgot to pay the bill here in July 2019. Owners called the people we were with after we had left, who they knew, and told us to come back and pay. However, I was very drunk and so I lied, I told them I had paid for the beer and the wine, and they seemed to believe us when they spoke to us over the phone. I dont know why I lied instead of just paying. Fortunately me and my friend left Ljubljana two days later, before they caught us. I definitely regret the way I handled it, since the staff was very nice, the overall vibe there was great, on top of that we both got laid thanks to this place without any effort. Also, the prices were absolutely nothing to complain about, especially compared to where Im from, a 50cl lager here is a third of the price for ditto in a Swedish bar. I hope Jesus will forgive me for my sins, I will never steal again. I promise that the next time Im in Slovenia Im headed to Klub Daktari first thing to pay my debt. That was all, bye.

Amazing they have my favourite sweet thing to eat... The waitress Janja is out of the world she is soo amazing kind and nice.

Cozy cafe by the funicular. If you want to try the Turkish coffee after a traditional meal, this is the right place.The cafe is frequented by young people and there is also a stage for live music.We asked for a guitar but they didnt have one, so thats why Im not giving them 5 stars 😋

A wonder, with that much red it is a revealing relief how chilling at moments can this local be.People tent to sit long as it is also comfty - so sometimes it is just full.Well worthed the stay.They have a good beer selection, a bit priced thow.There is a smoking room inside.The music is present but not loud.Cool place, I suggest!

This bar is one of my favourite spots in Ljubljana. Bohemian bluesy old fashioned and dreamy is how i would describe it. Open pretty late also during week days, Very international and has a relaxed yet busy vibe. It offers loads of local craft beers which is a big plus.

Best bar and coffee place in town! The atmosphere here is great and the inside is decorated in such a way that you feel cozy, like in your home! It is located right before the entrance to the funicular going to the castle. There is also a large outside area. Occasionally there are events organized here, such as launching a book, reading poetry, or small concerts. I like going here when in Ljubljana.

I spent a whole afternoon , sitting around and sipping some good old IPA and watching the cable car to the castle going up and down... a perfect place to chill in Ljubljana...
