Jezuitski trg 4, 10000, Zagreb, Croatia, Zagreb
Art museum in a former monastery with historic & modern works from local & international artists.
Interesting exhibitions
Grate exhibit, fun for all ages
Great concert activities during summer
Out of nowhere, this alley was so cultural and friendly, you feel like youre out of this world.
Great art exhibitions!
I got here one hour early before closing and they didnt want to let me inside to see the exhibition, shameful for any cultural institution.
One of the best museums in Zagreb.
The Best place for art
Beautiful place with good selection of exhibits! It was not too busy during the week and staff was nice and friendly.
One of the most important galleries in Zagreb.
Fantastic exhibitions, Bukovac is amazing!!! Very, very kind staff. Wonderful experience! I would definitely reccommend
Polite staff. Wonderful art exhibitions
We went for an exhibition and it was quite nice. The complete impression was the complaints of the security guy at the entrance. As soon as we came in he was complaining that we did not close the doors fast enough and that it was cold. I could tell he was only a few years younger then the people we came to see on the paintings but still, cmon...
Festival of lights on 20.3.2022. But regardless of this is one of must visit art palace in Zagreb. Always something different displayed. Do recomm.
Great exibition of Vlaho Bukovac, one of the greatest Croatian painter.
Very lovely place, where you can feel Christmas magic, to drink kuhano vino and eat some traditional food
Red wine, good company, great place.
Interesting exhibits all year round! Here you can see many exhibits from diferent artists and art movements. Its neatly organized; you just walk through the musem, make a full circle and then youre done.Near the entrance you can also find the souvenir shop with funny and pretty presents. The bathroom is located on the underground floor.
Very nice museum situated in the heart of the Zagrebs upper city. They often have excelent exhibitions and its worth to track their program and visit. I strongly recommend it. There are also some nice bars around when you finish your visit.
Very nice gallery/museum. Always interesting exhibitions.
Staff more than nice. Body 2.0. Amazing.. We are so lucky to be covered in skin..
Went to see "Bodies 2.0".Great exibition, shocking and educational.
Bodies 2.0, a visually interesting and very informative exhibition.
Dont miss any exhibition here! Surroundings is so peacefull, pictoreus, romantic... so when you enter the exhibition area youre really prepared and focused. Just let your senses enjoy.
Gallery at the Upper Town is Zagreb. Held many famous international visiting exhibitions. During summer time, concerts take place on interior open-air terrace.
One of Zagrebs most prestigious exhibition venues. Visited with friends in May 2021 for the exhibition "Bodies" - interesting and provocative insight into human anatomy.
The body - great exhibition!
It was great! The exhibition and the organization. The building on itself is remarkable.
They regularly host interesting exhibitions, with good amount of info about exhibits in both Croatian and English, but the way they do lighting (my pet peeve about most local museums and galleriesruins the experience every single time large oil canvases are exhibited: the obligatory strong reflectors pointing at paintings at a weird angle - instead of diffused light - often make it impossible too see the paintings in full from any point in the room, much less to step closer to observe any details higher than your eye-level, because these will always be obscured by a large patch of reflected light.Im of average height and able to stand; I imagine its even worse for children/very short people, or those in wheelchair.
Large building, old monastery, located in the Gornji Grad. Excellent exhibitions, they usually take place on the first and second floors. Amazing views of Zagrebs Cathedral from the inside. The place also has a store with variety of books, posters and other materials.
They have very good exhibits and of a very high standard. They offer guide service.
One of the best art places in the city: always new and interesting exhibits. Latest I visited was photo show of local famous photographer Nino Vranić as a memory to his opus through all the years of his work. The exhibit and stories of Katarina the Great were also breathtaking.Good coffe place in house. Good toilets.Parking must be done in near parking garage Tuskanac.
Dont miss this wonderful gallery in Zagreb. Under-rated and a great way to see world-class art exhibitions without the crowds. Also reminds you that Zagreb has a history and claim to be a major contributor as patron of the arts. The layout and courtyard are charming and peaceful.
Large gallery with great exhibitions. Tour guides are also very good.
The gallery is located in the building of a former 18th century Jesuit monastery in the historic area of Gradec in Zagrebs Upper Town, in the vicinity of other landmarks such as St. Catherines Church, St. Marks Square, Old City Hall, and Lotrščak Tower. It produces some 30 exhibitions every year, both national and international, and is one of the largest such institutions in the country. Take a look inside its shop or a stroll through its beautiful inner courtyard on a sunny day.
Fantastic place in Zagreb to spend more hours. It is always an engagement with an exhibition that gives more insight into national and international culture and art by its content and concept, thereby contributing to your insights, regardless of whether you come from Croatian, Chinese, Greek, or you are crooked. Katarina Velika fantastična izložba, sa lijepim primjercima umjetnina iz Ermitraža St. Petersburga koje će se teško u ovolikom obimu moći ubuduće vidjeti u ovim krajevima. Cijena ulaznice je 60kn, i treba oko 2 sata da se sve vidi i na miru poslika.😎Katarina the Great - fantastic museum show, with a lot of interesting art pieces from St. Petersburg Ermitrage which will be hard to see in such amount in upcoming years in this area. Ticket is 60HRK you would need 2 hours for easy going exploration.
Great place, incredible exebition about Catarina the great, my only regret was that the cafeteria still allowed smoking, which takes getting used to.
Always a good plave to visit if you enjoy art. Their exhibitions are are always worthwhile
When You are visiting Zagreb, this is one of the places You have to visit. Its very famous museum with different kind of exhibitions through out the hole year. My favourite was Picasso a couple of years ago. The museum is at the historic centre called upper town. Its very easy to get there. It also has a small gift shop so You can buy a souvenir to remember Your trip to Zagreb.
In of the best museums un Zagreb.
Definitively one of the charmiest museum in town. Fabulous atrium, great for summer concerts. Old Town. Amazing view on Cathedral and city.
The artistic experience was great, but I have very bad experience with the man working on the entrance of the ticket shop. He was very rude and sarcastic. It was a Vlaho Bukovac exhibit and there was a lot of people. He was not helpfull at all and it felt so unconfortable and left a very bad reputation. I think his name was Nikola.
Enjoy exhibitions from most accomplished Croatian and World painters in this beautiful castle.
One of the best galleries in Zagreb, with great cafe inside.
a great show Vasko is a genius
The courtyard of Klovicevi dvori Museum is often a venu for various exhibitions and concerts under the stars in summer time. We listened to a young opera singer Tomislav Muzek here in this inspiring place in July, 2017.
It is placed in Zagreb upper town which is allways nice to go for a walk. You can allways see interesting exhibition there.
Beautiful place atop a small steep walk up a hill i guess. We were there because the zagreb lights festival was held here. Amazing experience for anybody ans specially if you were lucky enough to reach it on the last day. Had a super time there with laser games inside.
Such a beautiful plece in the Christmas Time
