Theres a lovely River walk from here up to Voidomatis Bridge. The river is beautiful but very cold. At the crossroads by the signpost to the church go straight on (not right towards the river). Easy walk with some stony sections. Lots of places to sit by the river along the way.

Great place to walk in the ice cold water.

Like its name suggests, its an old stone bridge standing over the Voidomatis river. Its located in a very beautiful part of the river and nature with natural shadow by the trees alongside the river. You can get there with a car or on foot and you can also see it while rafting with one of the extreme sports companies that offer rafting in the Papigo and Aristi area. I highly recommend visiting this nice bridge both by car and with rafting.

Small but quant stone bridge. Preferably if you have to choose, visit the konitsa stone bridge instead. The bigger bridge and nicer trail offer a better experience.Also recommended to go to one of many rafting places and view this river from the raft. Way better experience in my opinion.

While there, worth taking the ice age trail from Klidonia bridge to Papigo bridge. A nice hiking trail along the river

This stone bridge was built back in 1853 it was used from the locals for trading and for connecting the villages through the whole year ,Voidomatis river runs all year round with its crystal clear water .Dont forget to visit this piece of stone art at the heart of Zagori with easy access from Aristi ,Papigo or Vikos villages .#nomadspathgr

Klidonas bridge is a beautiful stone bridge typical to this area in Greece crossing the Voidomatis river.You can reach the bridge with car from both sides and walk 2-10 min to get there.The river water are cold as ice and there are several spots close to the bridge that you can get in and swim (the river flows throughout the year)There is a small track climbing above the river with very nice view on river and bridge.The bridge is a great spot for photographers during summer and fall, At fall times the color of the foliage is amazing (photos attachedand in the summer the color of the water is unique

You can park near the tavern (by tracking hellas), walk about 10 minutes on a comfortably road, part shaded part sunny. Good even for small kids and strollers. There is a quiet spot for kids to access the river. Perfect place.

Voidomatis river Vikos gorge

The current bridge is located in Konitsa, 2 km away. from the village of Kleidonia, was built in 1853, at the end of the Vikos gorge. It bridges the Voidomatis River, one of the cleanest rivers in Europe, giving access to the plain of Konitsa. From the river he took his second name. It is the creation of the stone master, Zioga Frodzou and is a symbol of the region. From its monotonous and elongated arch (22m and 9m height), the visitor can admire the magnificent beauty of the landscape. Its natural beauty, compared to the history written on its stones, make it one of the most visited bridges in the region.
