Klatrekaféen in Svolvaer

We ate a burger and had a drink here. It wasnt very special. There was an error in paying the bill. The amount was debited from our account twice. We found out in the restaurant and were assured that the 653 overpaid NKR. would be refunded within 2 to 3 days. However, the amount has not yet been refunded. There is also no response to our email. We feel and we have been ripped off by this restaurant.

Very cozy place, vegi Burger, normal Burger, biffsnadder ( my Favorite ), a Fish soup and several other dishes. a good amount of different beers and cocktails- its my favorite place there! Would come back any time.

This was the best burger of Norway so far. It was perfectly flavored and very juicy. The fries was on point crispy and perfect seasoned. Also a great idea to order and pay directly by phone.

This place is so good that it almost feels like a shame to not rate it 5 stars. Unfortunately, there were just a few shortcomings that keep it from getting my unconditional endorsement.We waited an hour and a half to get a table. 4 stars is my rating in spite of, and not because of this, which should say something about how excellent the experience was once we actually got inside. There really is no reason for this to happen at all. This is tourism season. If you dont have capacity to seat everyone who wants to come in, and you know without a doubt that you will have this kind of volume, then why in gods name would you not allow for reservations? Worse yet: they make you stand outside the door in the freezing rain for them to shout your name. If you insist on not allowing for reservations, then a simple solution would be to allow people to leave their number with you. Like where are they gonna go? The whole island is barely a kilometer long!While not ideal, we ended up just ordering some appetizers at the tables outside while we waited. This prompted a horde of seagulls to aggressively screech, swoop, and even stand on our table. Like how hard would it be to just put a freaking umbrella outside? This honestly just felt blatantly disrespectful.During this time, we watched as the last burger was sold to a woman sitting outside, and eaten by a seagull. Why was there a "last burger"? Did they not account for the typical tourism volume? That also goes for the chili. What I ordered was literally not even determined by what I was hungry for, but out of fear that they would run out of everything on the menu before I even got seated! That should come as an embarrassment!Still, this is a really nice place, and the food was pretty great nonetheless. The fries in particular were delicious! And the drinks were amazing--and they dont try to rob you like their competition down the street does.Add in the FREE live music by the most talented (and more or less unknownguitarist/singer Ive seen in Norway and I am without a doubt sold. Even the playlist before the talent arrived was just spot on. Id definitely visit again if I ever found myself in Henningsvær, and if theyve done something about the issues I mentioned, Id give them that last star without a doubt!

Everywhere I go in Lofoten I miss this place, because nothing compares. The atmosphere, tho food. The best burger and shrimps I ever had. ❤

Cozy place to stop, eat & relax... met by smiles from the staff upon entering the restaurant but had to figure out how to order, wait or go to the bar...🤔 lucky us, i have my QR-code scanner on my phone, that made it easier 😀 jusy have to be observant on small details... after a minute or 2, came the drinks and soon after the food... enjoyed the fiskesuppe...😋

Warm and cozy restaurant/bar were you will enjoy good food with a stunning view of Festvågtind. We ate a fish soup (fiskesuppe, 170 krand a salted codfish (bacalao, 210 krand they both were great: the soup is delicate, silky and tasty, while the codfish is presented with potatoes, vegetables and a spicy sauce.In general it is more a bar than a restaurant, since the kitchen menu is limited to a few options, but you will for dure enjoy a stop here after a hike on Festvågtind.

The fish burger was very tasty. The location is very nice. But the service is just ok and ordering system is ONLY online and only in Norwegian.

Cosy and small restaurant with great atmosphere. The food we had was delicious. We shared one bowl of bacalao and lamb store 🤤 worth tasting if youre ever in Henningsvær.

Okay so lets move past the fact that during some months this will be the only place in town open past 2100 - this place deserves your business all year long. Unless you dont want to have fantastic Norwegian comfort food in the cozy Scandinavian living room of your dreams, this should be on your day 1 to-do list. Try the Bacalao - its cant miss!

it’s a lovely restaurant and with their spirit, I love it, and I thought their fish burger better than other famous restaurant😋, their have a local food we love it, if have chance to visit Henningsvær again, will go back this restaurant again and enjoy their delicious food and beautiful view, Festvågtind and beautiful harbor view.

If you want fine dining please look elsewhere, otherwise:Great food at great prices. Also one of the few (if not the onlyin the area that has fish free options at a reasonable price.The portions are good, not overly big, but you will not be hungry after them.We ate here 2 times.The "klatreburger" and "beef sandwich" are great and a real recommendation.The chili con carne is the best I ever had (please dont tell my wife)

A cozy eatery, with a rock climbing theme, relatively inexpensive and decent food (everything in Norway seemed way too expensive). They serve local pilsener beer, which I totally recommend. We tried the vegan burger (which was one of the best I have eatenand the chilli con carne (which was very filling and quite nice). I recommend both dishes. We liked it very much and visited again after a few days when we were again in the area.

We had the chance to visit this place in the end of July. We have ordered the Klatrecaffe Burger and Chilli con Carne. Great choice and very good quality 😋 Maciej, keep it up 👏👏

Very cosy and nice little restaurant with a nice vegan Burger. They scrambled egg with salmon was served cold though. I guess thats normal. The toilet was a disaster though.

Legendary place in Henningsvær. Enjoy a cold beer from the bar on the quay or maybe a nice meal indoor if the weather is to cold 👍

Sad food, great mood - a little small in terms of seating but very cozy! Have had good food here before but now the soup tasted nothing and the fish burger was straight out sad.

A fantastic quirky cafe/restaurant on a cute side street in Henningsvaer. Literally translated to "Climbers Cafe" the decoration is very cute and quirky. Really friendly staff and delicious food including burgers, chilli con carne, cakes, tea and coffee. Reasonably priced for Norway and a beautiful view of boats and mountains. Definitely recommend!

Delicious food, nice decor and music, and friendly staff! Our family had dinner here while on vacation in the Lofotens. The Bacalao, Fisksuppe, and yes, hamburger were all wonderful. Good selection of beer, wine, and full bar. They brought us fresh baked bread before dinner too, which was excellent. Would definitely eat here again.

A must if you are in Henningsvær, it is part of the climbing school just in front of it. Intimate and warm, very good food, good beer and warm drinks. Very kind staff.
