This reconstructed Japanese castle houses a museum with artifacts such as samurai armor & pottery.
A beautiful place. There is shinkansen road too, and JR train that’s make quiet noisy. There is souvenirs and cafetaria too.If you want to look inside you need to pay it. And they also have business hours. So you have pay attention for it.In the outside castle, you can enjoy 24hours.There is also another park not far from here. You can go on foot. You dont have to worry about stopping your car because there are plenty of parking spaces parking area.
I was able to pull a good shot. Unfortunately, we came too late. The tenin (shop personnelsaid they are going to close. But we still had a great time, theres a lot of parks around it that you can also visit. A must visit when in Kiyosu.
A lovely medium reconstructed castle.
The inside of the castle has been remade as a museum with a massive number of swords and samurai armor. None of the plaques have English accompanying the Japanese, so you’ll need to rely on a translate app or your knowledge of feudal Japanese history if you don’t speak the language. Beautiful grounds with a row of cherry blossoms right outside the castle gate.
Beautiful and tranquil place. Free of hoards of tourists. Try to visit during evening so that you can catch the street lights which adds to the beauty of the castle
I came upon this castle quite by accident while looking out of the train window. It looks such a beautiful and inviting castle that I decided to cycle there. Easy to get to....just off the main road. And there is a large carpark dedicated to this place. Lovely approach to the castle across a splendid bridge. Very picturesque. An attractive rock and sand garden presents a great foreground to the castle.
Very beautiful
It is a small but wonderful castle. Not too many visitors to this castle which makes it even more enjoyable.
Great castle. Well- maintained. Small and easy to see in one day.
Good
One of the most significant castle from Sengoku era.
This is a good place to make 1hours and half !
it was very interesting place, you can learn a lot from it since theres information of its history.
Actually I quite liked it although I knew its made of concrete. Maybe the stone base is the only one original.Unique thing about this castle is Japanese garden at the foot of the castle and the red bridge approach. Inside there are displays of armors, sword, video playing, clothes, and at the top, the view. It was entertaining but it requires the language. 4-story building, only stairs.15min walk from Kiyosu station, follow google map to make shortest but narrow alley!
Cool castle with red bridge in front of it
Beautiful castle nearby Nagoya
Work place
Beautiful Castle not as overcrowded as others. The Train running next to it takes a bit off the good atmosphere.
Taste the Feeling 😎
Perfect place for romantic photo at day and night
Very beautiful place
Beautiful place!
Good for children
Although its not an antique, the castle is small, shows some history of kiyosu and its Lord Nobunaga. The garden around the castle is also nice, and the bridge too.
Very beautiful castle even if not famous. Inside there is a little museum which is very interesting ! Less than 30min from Nagoya by train. In the city there are also a little park and a temple that are beautiful.
Good place
This was such a nice place to visit. The castle itself has a peaceful atmosphere considering its next to the shinkansen and train tracks. The people in the castle are nice. It was fun to try in samurai armor and learn about the history of the area as well as the castle. I liked learning about the time period as well. The garden outside is really nice and it is near a park with a nice statue of nobunaga.
A place that for Japanese history lover (esp Sengoku period), it is funny that the train line cross thru the castle area but it is a bit far from nearby train stations.
Beautiful
A really nice sightseeing experience that took up little time to do. There are times that you can wear samurai armor and make sure to visit the Armory across the river as well. Well worth the trip imo.
Museum is attractive and not expensive. Audio guide available in English and some other languages. Outside the castle beautiful Japanese style garden with small fish pond
Not so touristic but very beautiful castle near Nagoya. You can also learn a lot about Japanese armors and make photos with samurai outfits.
What a surprise ! castle and gardens worth a visit
A rebuilt castle with great view. Nice visit if you love Japanese castles and history. There is a city park nearby, with lots of cherry blossoms. There will be a carnival opened in the cherry blossom viewing period every year.
Excellent, renovated part of history.
Very calm place, not many tourists there.
A beautiful castle with a rock and sand garden and many suits of armor and artifacts from the Oda clan and other important items like Kimonos and Katana blades. The castles colors are unique to Kiyosu. Though the building is a reconstruction it does not look like one.
Nice replica castle and painted nicely but other than that there is nothing more to keep you in the area. Its worth a visit if you happened to be in that area already and need to kill 30 mins but other than that, its not worth the trip out.
Knew a historical place where you always dreamed and Saw on movies and docs was very plentiful. Dont forget the castle stamp at the Garden castle.
A very nice and helpful staff. This castle is even more beautiful than some of the most famous ones. Highly recommended.
If you like Japanese history and know some heros... You should visit this castle!
Is a very beautiful place, past and present always together with the Shinkansen beside. Adorable .
Great place to sit ..relax.. and reflect. Closes a little to early in my opinion but lots of benches and an outside park nearby.
Simply Beautiful
Small but very beautiful, and have a very great and wide view. Much more better than nagoya castle.
Highly recorecomeneded
One of the most under rated places. Definitely worth a visit if youre in Nagoya. Just 2 stations away from Nagoya station.
